I am using airtel mobile prepaid connection since 5 years and just last week when i happen to login to www.airtel.in and check my account details, my name reflects incorrect under personal details.
My name is "janaka rao k" and the airtel website shows my name as 'akash rao'
Since two weeks i am sending back to back emails to airtel team to correct my name and address in their records and this is the response i receive :
Dear customer,
This is in reference to your email regarding wrong name updated for your airtel mobile number xxxxxxxxxx.
We regret for the inconvenience caused.
As discussed with you on your number xxxxxxxxxx, your issue has addressed.
As per the revert from the concerned department, your profile details are updated as per the sef (Subscriber enrollment form) at the time of obtaining your sim. Therefore, we are unable to make the change.

The above reply clearly indicates : 'we made error, but still you have to live with it"
I dont agree with the above response from airtel team, i am extremely dissatisfied with the airtel team, for not resolving a simple issue. Was this information helpful? |
