Airtel — International roaming plan pack

I had signed up for 5999 plan. On landing tried to sign in to their their airtel thanks app to check if the plan got activated. Suddenly one sign up page pops up. I agree, and lo! I was signed up for another plan for 2499 without second confirmation and my knowledge. (Post paid connection)

I follow up with the customer service and they say that they cannot do anything. I feel cheated that end up paying so much for nothing thanks to their app plus they just end up saying they cannot help the customer. Seems very unethical and unprofessional!
