Airtel — mobile network and data issues | |||||
We stay at chikmaglur town (Pin:577101). Airtel claims that it is the best network provider and covers every town or almost all in india and karnataka. Chikmaglur is not a hidden district or town. Within this town there are sevral localities and one among them is pension mohalla and we recide there. This area is juist within 2 - 3 km radius of airtel towers and unfortunately there is no proper network as we have to come out of house to speak no matter what instrument we use. Pathetic network which is against the airtel. We purchased airtel 4g dongle from the airtel store at chikmaglur this month and it is a post paid connection. From the time we purchased we have never been able to use and also had got the dongle replaced after lot of complaints. Still the same with new dongle we could never use the service. We want airtel to refund the entire amount that we have paid for the dongle (100% refund) and take back the dongle. Since we have not used the connection due to issues we do not want to pay any money also. Dongle number: [protected]. I received a call from representative stating he is a nodal officer and seems to be unaware of the exact nature odf the issue. Airtel is taking very lightly on this. Suganya from airtel nodal team or higher department spoke to me over an hour on Saturday and she is fully aware of exact nature. Please get this fixed ASAP.

As promised by Suganya from Nodal team Chennai as well as Geetha and Tej Raj from Chikmaglur AIRTEL store, I should have received a resolution by end of the day 27th Sep 2017 for the Data card issue that I had reported.
I have been trying to call Tej Raj manager of AIRTEL store chikmaglure but he is not answering my phone calls.
All of them Suganya, Geetha and Tej Raj promised that Data card will b3 taken back and hundred 100% refund will be given on spot.
Geetha also promised that entire bill for data card will be waived off since we have not used the service.
Now I want AIRTEL to either refund 100% amount and take the device.
Or
Convert the device from postpaid to prepaid immediately right in front o[censored]s when we visit AIRTEL store C hikmaglur.

I have had a long discussion with AIRTEL Store representative GEETHA. She has agreed that Chikmaglur area is facing lot of network issues and they have had escalated lot of cases and she agreed airtel's issue especially with DATA. I have recorded the calls and have this as proof as well, Geetha also informed that they will have the issue fixed and provide me a firm resolution that this issue will be resolved by 27th of September 2017. Also informed that they will raise a concern that we as customer will not pay any bills as we have not used the service due to airtel's poor network.
She also said she will escalate this to her manager Tej Raj by email and then I spoke to her Manager Tej Raj who requested for whatsapp location to be shared of the problematic area so that he can forward the same to Network Engineers who will work on fixing this with the help of latitude and longitudes.
Suganya has also informed that they will have a resolution by 27th September 2017.
Here is what I want:
I want the network issue to be fixed at Chikmaglur area and Airtel to investigate the cases and problems raised by Airtel Store as per agent GEETHA.
I want Airtel to make sure that all the charges are waived OFF on the post paid data number (4G dongle) as we have not used the service.
I want Airtel to convert the data number (4G number) from POSTPAID to PREPAID
If Airtel does not want to convert to PREPAID, then Airtel to make sure that they refund 100% amount of the dongle.
