Airtel — National Mobile Number Portability - No Response | |||
I had made a request to Airtel under the new national mobile number portability and have submitted the unique porting code and necessary supporting documents (including signed application forms) on July 4, 2015 to the executive who visited my residence. The executive gave me airtel sim cards for the two numbers that I wanted to port ([protected] and [protected]) and informed that the porting will be completed within 7 days. However, thereafter, I have not been able to contact the executives (Sunil - Email: [protected]@gmail.com) and Anu ([protected]). I also tried contacting the Airtel Customer Care, however I did not receive a satisfactory response to my query - I was told that they are unable to retrieve the application status from the system. Guess NMNP was newly launched in July 2015, so there could have been some initial hiccups.
