Airtel — no network after porting into airtel
I’ve given port in request to airtel on 31st aug 2017 from idea. On 4th sept 2017 idea has accepted the same and airtel has sent sms stating dear customer your porting request for mobile no. [protected] to airtel has been validated by idea/spice (Gsm). The number will be ported-in to airtel by 4th sept 2017 10:48 pm. The second sms states once your mobile displays no network, please insert the airtel sim in your handset and call 59059 to verify your details (Received both the sms at 01:19am on 04th sept 2017).
By 11pm my mobile displays no network and i’ve inserted airtel sim but sim not able to catch the signal.
If i dial my number from other number i get ivr msg that the number does not exist, please check the number.
Till now i’m getting the same error message.
I tried calling airtel customer care (3 times) but no use no one responded properly and cut the call.
Now i’m thinking why i’ve ported to airtel where there is no value for end users.
Why you have disconnected the idea network when you are not able give your network?
I want full explanation on this.
What is the time frame for port in process when you fixed the time at 10:48 pm port in process will start?
Is this right process to approach the port in process?
Can i get time limit that my number will be activated/grant the permission for network?
Due to ignorance of airtel i’ve missed important calls from my client and my manager. I did n’t expected this from airtel.
I request airtel to activate with all the services on my number asap
