[Resolved]  Airtel — Pathetic 4g network bandwidth and pathetic service

I had applied for a 4g hotspot dongle in the month of feb 2016. My airtel
Mobile number is [protected]. I had bought the hot spot device and a 4 months scheme for 4gb by paying 2899/-. The 4g was activated on 23.02.2016.

From day one, the network speed received by me is pathetic. I was constantly following up with the support desk and i was asked to do different settings but still there was no change in the network speed. Finally on 06.03.2016, after contacting the support desk for the 3rd or 4th time, an issue was logged by the support desk with the reference number 68184076 stating that the issue will be closed in 4 days. On not receiving any feedback from the support desk for 4 days, i again contacted the support desk quoting the reference number and i was informed that a survey was done of my area and the necessary arrangements will be done in the next 2 months.

Since i have already paid for 4 months, what do i do with the pathetic speed available till that time? For all the ads shown by airtel with fast network speed in mountains and valleys and islands, there is not even a decent network available in a city like thane where i reside.

Finally i am compelled to cancel the connection and in this regards i have been continuously communicating with the appellate authority thru emails. But even after almost 14 emails, i have not got any satisfactory reply from airtel. I have been informed in one of the mails that the connection has been suspended but i have not got any proper communication from airtel as to what happens to the rs.2899/- i have paid as advance for the connection and will it be refunded to me.

I am repenting that i bought the airtel 4g dongle. I had a airtel mobile
Connection earlier and i had ported it to vodafone for the same network reason and i feel i have made a mistake again by trusting the ads shown by airtel and going for its services again.

This is a standard reply which I got to all my earlier mails also. My issue is still unresolved. I am still not aware whether I will be refunded the advance payment of Rs.2899/- for the 4G Airtel hot spot device and 4 months plan.

Please be aware that I am forced to cancel the connection because of the third class network connection provided by you. Forget about 4g, there is not even a decent 2G connection available. I am actual regretting my decision to buy this Airtel product by believing in all the false advertisements done by Airtel.

Find attached the speed test bandwidth result. My vodafone mobile data 3G connection speed is much better than the 4G bandwidth provided by Airtel.
