[Resolved] Airtel — please reactivate my account number | |||
My company had sent me to london - uk for office work for an year, during which i had not used my airtel number - 7259$#@. I was using a local sim card as that was quite cheaper. My airtel number was having network as i used to use a dual sim mobile phone. When i came back to india i have find that my number has got disconnected. I visited the neatest airtel store to find out that my number had been disconnected as i had not used it for more than 60 days. The problem now is that i had given this number to all my clients, office circle, aadhar card, bank, paytm etc. As the number is disconnected i am unable to receive otps or make transactions. Also unable to update aadhar card. I had not received any intimation from airtel that my number will be disconnected if i don't use it. I am now finding it very difficult to manage without that number. I have already submitted my documents twice to get that number activated. I was told by agents that the sim still get activated to postpaid and will have my daane previous number. But i am still waiting. I am willing to pay any fine. But i need the number back at any cost.
