Airtel — porting issue from vodafone to airtel

I have ported my number [protected] from vodafone to air tel. I have received the message stating that porting got successful and my vodafone number got deactivated, when i inserted air tel sim i am not getting the signal. I have contacted your customer service so many times but none responding the correct way. I am facing this problem for the past 1 and half day. I have cleared all the outstanding amount on vodafone side and they are saying that there is no issue on there side. Is this the way you treat the customers? This is the worst response i have never seen on the network operator side, others are way better
