[Resolved]  Airtel — Porting number

I had received a call from your executive on 30th May'17 to port my number to Airtel. Thus, I had opted for porting. I have received an SMS from your end stating the number will be activated (port) on[protected]:35:00. At the same time Vodafone number is stopped working assuming Airtel would be activated but in reality, Airtel is yet to activate my number.

I have been receiving two SMS from your end,
1.Thank you for choosing Airtel! We are setting up your services please wait.
2.We are unable to process your request. Please retry later.
To check the status I had called your customer care and spoken to your customer care Manager Nirmala. She doesn't have any answer and just kept on telling me to wait for 24 hours as 7 working days is not completed. Just holding 24 hours without making any further to attempt to resolve one's issue.
I did ask about the SMS which I received, she bluntly says it is a technical issue. (What an answer?)
I was using Vodafone more than 7 years, not even a single day did I call their customer care / faced any issue. @Vodafone, I would like to commend you guys for the WONDERFUL SERVICE which you guys have provided me. I seriously made a big mistake by porting to one of the worst network provider Airtel. I will surely be back Vodafone in next 90 days. I don't want to continue any further with these brainless ##### who doesn't value their customers.
You guys are just making sure that no one should port to airtel. If one ports, you guys will make sure in harassing him.
Please keep this as your tagline "If you port will take you for the ride".
Seriously one of the worst services ever I have encountered. I would recommend no one to join Airtel for god sake. If you are not serious about your customers then better shut your operations.

Please answer my below questions?
1. If you say 7 working days? why SMS was sent from your end stating it will be activated on[protected]:35:00.
2. Vodafone has stopped my services from yesterday night & your SIM is not activated yet?.
3. Is this the welcome you give to any new customer?
4. What is the compensation I'm getting for your mistake & my 24 hours of time?
5. Can I lodge a complaint in consumer FORUM for misleading information, not providing the service which is committed.?

Same thing happening to me it has been more than 17 days still port not happened to Airtel. when ever i visit there store they say wait 2 more days. what the hell is this.?
Why this message

On 2 January 2021 i had opted for porting from BSNL/Bihar to AIRTEL/Bihar.

Then I received a confirmation SMS from Airtel stating the number will be switched to Airtel by 06 January 2021 12:30:00 AM.

At the same time current operator (BSNL) number stopped working assuming Airtel would be activated.

When i inserted Airtel SIM card i recieved two SMS from Airtel
1.Thank you for choosing Airtel! We are setting up your services please wait.
2. Your services have been set. Please restart your handset.

So i restarted my phone and there's no signal at all. Airtel is yet to activate my number.

Disappointed.
