[Resolved] Airtel — Postpaid Activation (New Connection) | |||||
First of everything I got regular calls from Airtel talking about new connections with unlimited packs and calls. I rejected; however one day finally I said yes. On 29 Jan I gave my complete details over phone including corporate info where I am working. They promised me that executive will come to my place the very next day to collect documents and will activate my sim in 2 hours. Which was not done even after two complaints. Second time again they called me on 31 Jan 2017 stating there might be problem in previous request and told me that fresh request will be created, again I gave all details over phone and same promise was made next day executive will collect documents and activate sim in 2 hours which was unsuccessful. Still I am receiving calls for getting new connections. I told them entire story and they suggested me visit store to get things done in 24 hours. As per suggestion, I along with my colleague went to Airtel store located in Mansarovar (Okay Plus Store) with all documents. Date: 6 Feb 2017. Amit assisted us in selecting number and gave required info on plans. I gave my documents Pan card, aadhar card (xerox copies) signed application with a photograph. Also shared my Airtel Broadband Bill address proof. Everything was done on Monday. Amit again promised same thing that post verification sim will be activated in 24 hours. Day 2: No activation done Day 3: Tried reaching store over phone number (Landline) no one responded. Tried again in the evening, luckily my phone was answered and I was informed that it will be done the same day in 2 hours. Day 4: No answe over phone for entire day Day 5: Verification has been processed and then they said activation will be in next one hour. Not done Day 6: They picked phone and told me they will get back to me in 5 min after checking info. No call received neither my call was answered. Even after 10 days, multiple phone calls, I tried reaching them over phone but they dont even respond to customers. Even I raised complaint through Nodal escalation, even they said 48 hour maximum time for activation but it is still not activated. Dont know what to talk about pathetic service from Airtel is really not expected. I am already customer of Airtel from years. Very bad experience and I need an action to be taken for all the hassle.
