[Resolved] Airtel — Postpaid to prepaid more than 72 hours | |||||
I have requested for postpaid to prepaid on 14th March 2016 in Airtel Store Sakchi, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Their first reaction was “aaj nai ho payega”. I explained my urgency that from the next day I won’t in home circle then they agreed to take my request. I submitted all my documents and while issuing micro sim they told go and get it from other store after the sim is activated. I had to again explain my situation. Then after 2 mins I don’t know from where they came out with micro sim. I was tortured for 3 hours in the same store for some or the other issue. I mean such a callous attitude was not expected from an Airtel store. Coming to the main problem…..my post paid sim has been de activated since 15th evening and my pre paid number has not been activated till now. I have called 59059 for verification but they say your Airtel store has not yet uploaded the document. When I ask the same to the Airtel Store they say we have done everything from our side. From last 2 days they are playing the same game and I am a sufferer. Today when I called the guy Amish in the Airtel Store he said “itna facility phone pe nai milta hai……aana hai to aayiye nai to bhaad me jayiye”. I don’t know how Airtel recruit such people for front desk job…….It surely is hampering brand image of Airtel. I don’t care about Airtel and its brand image the only thing I care about is My number is de active from 3 days….I am in an unknown city right now and nobody is able to contact me….neither I am able to contact them……I cannot make online money transactions because my registered number is inactive all because of Airtel and their staff. I called 121 and asked for the Nodal officer’s number but they gave me some tele voiced number which ultimately never connects to nodal officer. I don’t know what problem they have to give direct number. End of the story…..Airtel is useless…..nobody is helping in getting my number back…..I would have ported my number but for that also your number must be active. I am totally stuck. Only help I can demand on this platform is please give phone number of Nodal officer Bihar and Jharkhand or number or Bharti Mittal. I have no problem talking to him directly.
