[Resolved] Airtel — Prepaid Data | |||||
My mobile number is +[protected]. When I took this simcard, I did a recharge of 349. I was told that 1gb data/day is only on 4g handsets and I use a 3g handset as of now. On 7th April 2017 I receive a text from AT-ARWINF saying that "Effective 6th Apr 2017, benefit on Rs349 recharge for Airtel mobile has been revised. You get: Unlimited All Calls + 1GB Data/Day Validity: 28days. This benefit can be used on all type of handset 4G/3G/2G" After reading ceiling this text I realised that I am not getting 1gb/day. So today on 09/04/2017 I called customer care and asked them about it. A agent named Seema told me that she cannot see any such message and asked me to read the message back to her. After reading the entire message she said she has raised a complaint and a complaints officer will call me in 4 hours. The reference to this conversation is "Thank you for contacting us.Hope the concern related to your airtel mobile [protected] has been resolved to your satisfaction.Your Ref.no.is CBNRD[protected] registered on 09-apr-2017 12:58". I did not receive any call for 5 hours so called customer care back again and this time it was Dharmendra on the other side. I told him the situation and then he checked the details and then asks me if my query was about Airtel dish TV. This means the previous agent Seema had done nothing. And now the agent tells me to take that message to the nearest Airtel store. The reference for this conversation is "Thank you for contacting us.Hope the concern related to your airtel mobile [protected] has been resolved to your satisfaction.Your Ref.no.is CBNRV[protected] registered on 09-apr-2017 18:04". This behavior from a customer service agent is ridiculous. I have been a customer service manager for a UK based network and I know how the entire system works. Fooling customers to end the call as early as possible is not a good remark. The message I have received is from Airtel company itself and now they behave as if they don't even know about it. All I want is to activate the service of 1gb data/ day on my 3g handset as written in the text by Airtel. Kindly do it else I make sure I take this up till consumer court and in media too as I have the texts and the call recordings of your agents. Was this information helpful? | |||||
