Airtel — promotional offers from 650003

My name is pmk umamaheswrara rao from visakhapatnam andhrapradesh. I am holding airtel prepaid connection ([protected]).

On 15 mar 18, i received a sms from 650003 indicating that "truly unlimited! Unlimited local, std+ roaming call+ 100 sms/day on rs 93 with 1gb/month, 28 days or on rs 995 with 1gb / month, 360 days non-commercial use, call 505.

On the same day i recharged with rs 995 and i did not received any message indicating the activation of offer.

On 16 mar 18 i called the customer care and enquired about the same. He said that the recharge was done and the offer was activated and gave me the ussd to check the data balance. However on checking the balance it is showing the validity of 180 days only.

Again on 17 mar 18 i called up customer care and enquired about the validity. They said that we have not sent any sms to u and is not an offer for u. I told them that i got a sms from 650003. She replied that 650003 is not airtel number and we have not sent any sms to your number.

I received the same offer earlier several times from 650007 saying that mega money saver offer. I am also receiving airtel offers from 650001, 650005, 650007, 650137. If these are not airtel numbers who else will send me the offers to my mobile.

Based on the sms received, i recharged with 995 for 360 days but i got offer for 180 days only.

I had a good opinion on airtel till now but with this i loosing the interest.

It is requested that the matter may be examined and necessary action be taken for extending the offer to 360 days as per the sms
