Airtel — request for refund of duplicate money credit in airtel money wallet due to technical/network issue

Sir/madam,

On 18th may, 2020, i had requested to add an amount of rs.1310 for my airtel wallet (Contact no. [protected]) from my state bank of india account through airtel thanks app. But due to some technical/network issues, the transaction repeatedly failed multiple times, post which i tried from my laptop by logging in through www.airtel.in, which was successful. Immediately after the successful transaction, another transaction from my previous attempts through airtel thanks app also got through successfully, leading to duplicate transaction and double debit from my bank account (Screenshot attached). I tried to transfer the additional duplicate amount from airtel wallet to my bank account, but it is charging convenience fee for that transaction.

Please consider my plight and it's very unfortunate on my part amidst the current adversities throughout the world due to covid-19, which has affected everybody, directly or indirectly. Please arrange for refund of the amount to my bank account without the convenience fees. I would be obliged and feel privileged being a loyal customer for over a decade. Your earliest action is highly solicited.

I have already emailed to airtel customer care and airtel ombudsman citing the aforementioned issue but no actions have been taken by them. Please consider this case and let me get back my hard-earned money without extra charges. Thanking you,
