Airtel — Sim card not provisioned after porting to airtel from bsnl

I have given the UPC code for porting to Airtel from Bsnl. Port request was accepted from Airtel and later I also received a message that port in will be successful within 22 August, 22. But unfortunately it doesn't happen.

The most important problem is from 22nd of August my previous BSNL sim is keep showing signal but it became non provisioned because of which I cant recieve or send any call or message. So I tried inserting my new airtel sim and it is not showing any signal. As of noe it is 6 days from the day of port in acceptance from Airtel.

I tried contacting Airtel regarding this but I couldnt get any better support.

I need this number and it is very important to me. Kindly help with regard.

The same happened, where I ported my number from Airtel postpaid to prepaid and it was all supposed to work from 19th Aug. The older and the newer sim both stopped working suddenly on 19th when the port was expected. And all this while I'm in a foreign country and literally blocked from accessing my bank because no OTPs can be received!
And their support staff just gives basic instructions like turn your phone off and on etc, and besides this they are really rude if I try to tell them I've tried all basic troubleshooting.

This is all very shocking to me as my friends, family and I have been long time loyal customers of Airtel, and would not have imagined such lousy service from them.
