Airtel — sim deactivation request wot taken care for one week when I lost my phone.e | |||
During my abroad trip with my family Bangalore was the hub. That time I lost my mobile some where. Same day 13september 2019 I directly went to Airtel showroom and requested for Deactive my old sim card and apply for new one due to security reasons. They took my photo, I'd proof and all and charged 15 rs for sim. And I told them about my abroad trip. So they activated gulf pack for one week. I purchase a new phone and inserted new SIM. But it was not activated during my travel dates and next tow days when I reached my home town. Again I quired about this to Airtel showroom at Cochin and I realised the old sim was still active which inserted in my lost phone. During this time this sim is active and some one received my personal and official text messages and notifications. Dear authority who is responsible which the security issues happened to me during this time. I don't know how to trust Airtel . So many times I mailed to nodal team and I experienced cold response .
