I am a customer of AIRTEL since last 12 years. My Sim No. [protected]. Upon offer by the AIRTEL over Thanks giving app, I opted to transition from Pre-paid to postpaid on 5th apruil'2026. And I got a mail "Hi, your transaction ID for Airtel Prepaid to Airtel Postpaid is[protected] Please note, it will take 30 minutes to process the validation. Hope it helps - Team Airtel". and immediately, my pre-paid sim got deactivated. But neither I received any new sim or any contact. So, I tried to contact the local AIRTEL dealer, who in turn reported that they are only dealing with pre-paid sim and not postpaid sim. so, I tried to a contact given by them, who picked up my call after 34 calls from my BSNL mobile number [protected]. And ever since then, I am running from post to pillar, but yet to get my postpaid sim. On the other hand they are to go to Berhampur to receive the sim. Berhampur is 130 kilometers from Paralakhemundi which is my place and is not possible. I have requested them at least to revert back to pre-paid but no action appears to be in sight and the complaint numbers [protected] and [protected] are avoiding my call and not picking up. I being a professional advocate is being harassed by your dealer and customer-care and has got least regard to the company's customer. This is very unfortunate and deficiency of service.
