Airtel — unable to call 59059 for tele-verification

Address:Mumbai City, Maharashtra

I have ported my mobile number to airtel from vodafone. My vodafone subscription has been de-activated and i am unable to do activate my airtel subscription as 59059 is getting disconnected automatically. Airtel agent who was very active till my number was being ported to airtel and thereafter, she is incommunicado and blocked my alternate number.

Before my number was ported, i was told that my vodsfone number will be active till the porting process to airtel is completed. Now my vodafone is service is de-activated and i am unable to activate my airtel service as tele-verification cannot be done since 59059 is not working.

This is resulting in my business getting severely affected and airtel customer service is extremely ineffective to help. As per them my number is still with vodafone in their system and vodafone says they have already de-activated the sim from their end. I am the biggest loser presently with an airtel sim which is not active and the problem does not seem to resolved atleast immediately.
