Airtel — Unfair Trade Practice liable to be filed under CPA 1986 | |||
Certain channels to which I have subscribed on Airtel DTH have been removed by them. For getting refund No.[protected] was mentioned by them. When I dialled today, was kept waiting for more than 11 min and then they disconnected. Dialed again and after 10 min was informed that no refund can be given for channels removed from the Airtel. Is is not unfair practice? Also the number which I dialled, 1, 2 and 3 are to be dialled, but no info about dialing for complaint. By fluke, I dialed 9 after dialing 3. Thus customers of Airtel are cheated. If a customer does not pay prepaid charges, Airtel does not wait even for a single minute in blocking the channels. Also there are no ways to resolve the complaints. Thus, Airtel has transgressed all morals, ethics and fair practices.
