Airtel — unhelpful attitude of airtel | |||
I migrated from vodafone to airtel a few months back. I had full dnd active on my number and like in past, i expected not to receive any marketing calls and sms on my number. Unfortunately this did not happen and i have been forwarding all those marketing calls/sms to 1909. Since this was going on for a long time i decided to email airtel customer care 15th august giving them the whole information and requesting if they could help further. Since then i've received 2-3 phone calls and emails now advising me that they have a dedicated team to look into this further and that i should now write to them and explain my issue in details. So i ended up emailing the whole issue in details to first the airtel customer care team and then to the nodal and appellate authority who by the way did not even care to respond back to me and now airtel believes that i have so much spare time on my hand that i should write my issue in detail to this new department they have created.in addition the response from the airtel csr also states that even though i have a full dnd on my number marketing calls and sms will reduce drastically but might still continue occasionally. All i want is some help to ensure that i dont get these marketing calls and sms on my number which incidentally i never used to get on vodafone but airtel is proving that it is incompetent in doing so and ensure that its customers are left to run from one end to another.
