[Resolved]  Airtel — WiFi Dongle

I am an Airtel customer for almost 15 years now and was very satisfied with your services so far but never thought that I would be writing this kind of e-mail for my issue resolution (But believe me I am doing this in shear frustration).

1st Issue - Airtel 4G dongle (Tel.[protected])

I have purchased the 4G dongle with new connection in the month of November 2015 (Not sure about the date). The 4G internet worked fine for about 1 month however from 2nd month onwards it stopped giving 4G network on the dongle. I thought there must be some connectivity issues near my office area but when I checked the same on different locations I found 4G network (Not even 3G) was not coming on dongle, I contacted technical support but no success for about a week. I only got fake promises, no follow-up calls were made for the same. I contacted technical support again after 10 days and I was told that the SIM is faulty and that needs to be replaced, again no follow-up done for the customer. Finally I contacted the person(Love Kumar – [protected]) from whom I purchased this dongle and he gave me a different SIM and assured my issue will be fixed in next 24 hours. Let me tell you it has been 9 days again my issue has not been fixed and no one seems to be interested in resolving customer’s issue. If your check my usage on the dongle, it has not been used for last 2 months because of this issue and I am still paying the bill.

Kindly resolve my issue at the earliest as I do not want to take the route which as a reputed company like Airtel would not like a customer to take(Legal action in consumer court).

2nd Issue - Network Issues at my place

I have shifted to new house in the month of December 2015 and I have been facing network issues since then. My cellphone is not reachable all the time when I am at home, I have also contacted customer service for this issue and was assured that the network team will visit my place and resolve the issue as coverage is there in that area but again no one came till date and I am still facing the network issues, the only thing which is holding me back for not going for Vodafone or Idea or any other provider for that matter is my experience with Airtel so far in last so many years. But being one of the world’s largest service provider you will also have to make sure that your customer shouldn’t suffer this much, at least not a Corporate customer with a company like Dell which is listed under your AES account list.

That is all I have to say on the issues. I am expecting a quick resolution for my problem not assurance.


I would also like to inform you that I have 8 products(On My Name) of Airtel that I am using on a daily basis and I hope you are not the only company who is providing these product and services.

One last humble request, if my issues can’t be resolved then please let me know up front, don’t give me a run around. Because if I don’t get the solution then ultimately I have to switch to a different service provider and as a consumer I would also suggest my colleagues not to use Airtel services.
