Amazon India — Took Rs. 10,000/- without giving product | |
Do not go for Amazon! Terrible way of resolving customer complaints.
I ordered a Micromax Yureka Plus on 30.07.15 and opted for cash on delivery option. The phone was supposed to get delivered on 03.08.15. The delivery boy said I could swipe my debit card instead of giving him cash if I wish to. I swiped my SBI debit card on his ezetap machine and Rs.9, 999/- was deducted from my account instantly. But the delivery boy claimed that there was a payment failure. He refused to give me the phone. I showed him the message on my phone that I had received from SBI stating that the transaction was successful. He refused to give me the phone and left. When I checked with the SBI branch they showed me that the transaction was successful and the amount was lying with Amazon. I also sent Amazon a snapshot of my bank pass book showing that Rs.9, 999/- has been given to Amazon. I have been mailing and calling the Amazon customer service ever since and they have been claiming that they have not received any amount. The bank statement is proof enough to show the money is with still with Amazon. Amazon is not even looking into the matter seriously and they just took my money and didn't even give me the product.
