Amazon India — Wrong product delivered by seller purposely in order to scam

Order issue :
I have ordered[protected] a 2tb wd external hard drive (Blue color) which was selling at a price of 4000 inr by a seller called hop tech (https://www.amazon.in/sp?seller=A3JOYN84H57H8M), which unfortunately was cancelled by the seller on[protected] around midnight. I have contacted amazon for the reason why my order was cancelled and i got reply from the customer service that that seller wasn't able to dispatch the order to my address to which i have argued with customer service that to tell the seller to deliver my product using different courier service.
On[protected], i received a message mentioning that my order was out for delivery and i need to keep the cash ready as i opted for cash-on-delivery. I was happy that customer service has forwarded my message to the seller and my order was being delivered and got the cash ready.
The delivery guy came to my home and the packaging was of amazon so i confidently paid the delivery guy the amount of ₹4000, the courier service which delivered my product was xpressbees. I even started recording the unboxing just for my convenience. The package was covered by amazon tape and i started unboxing the package. Halfway through unboxing and i could see it was not the mentioned product inside instead a internal hard drive of a computer with no box or anything covered fully with bubble wrap. I understood this was some kind of fraud and stopped unboxing it. I have left the bubble wrap like that.
I was totally scared after seeing this and thought i have lost my hard earned money to some scammer in amazon. I right away called amazon cc and they told they would help me. They have told me to wait for 3 more days as they were waiting for the reply from the seller. After hearing this i felt happy that amazon would help me in getting my money back. But things didn't go as expected. This kept going for days and one day out of frustration my call was transferred to the senior customer service executive. The senior was helpful and knew i was cheated by the seller and promised me to wait for 3 more days and told me that he would refund me if the seller doesn't respond. I again waited for 3 more days and i didn't get any call from the amazon to which i again called to the customer care, but this time cc guy told me firmly that amazon can't refund my money. After hearing this i was broken and still didn't give upon my hopes. Again i called cc after 3 days and told them about all the incidents. They checked on the seller and seller was removed from amazon due to various complaints against them. They said they were filling for a refund and promised me i would get call from amazon regarding this after 3 days. I waited for more than 1 week and still i didn't get any response from amazon team.
Conclusion :
Even though my order was cancelled seller used my address to fake the order. As a normal consumer i fell for this trap and i was scammed for ₹4000. Amazon isn't ready to accept their mistake as it's their responsibility to safeguard my address and respect my privacy. Amazon should be more careful in allowing who can sell on their platform. Without cross checking all these they have just allowed a scammer to scam people like me. There's no way right now to contact the seller as seller has been already removed.
I was cheated by seller, seller cancelled my order purposely and the delivers different product with another courier service which i'm not aware of. As a buyer who was not aware of this trick, i accepted the order thinking it was my 2tb wd external hard drive and paid the courier guy the money. Seller has cheated me for ₹4000 and i'm devastated about my loss.

I request amazon to do a full refund of the money and deal with the seller from your end.
