Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation [APSRTC] — Complaint Against APSRTC Conductor for Collecting Ticket Despite Valid Student Bus Pass

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am a student holding a valid APSRTC student bus pass for the route Chandragiri to P. Kothakota, valid from 27-Apr-2026 to 26-May-2026.

On 25-May-2026, while traveling in APSRTC bus number AP02 Z 0420, the conductor informed me that my bus pass timing was over and forced me either to purchase a ticket or get down from the bus. Even after showing my valid student pass, I was forced to buy a ticket worth ₹55.

This behavior caused mental harassment and inconvenience. Students who already paid for valid passes should not be treated in this manner.

I already contacted APSRTC helpline, but I did not receive a proper response. Therefore, I request APSRTC authorities to:

Conduct an inquiry into this incident.

Take action against the concerned conductor.

Refund the unnecessarily collected ticket amount.

Ensure students are treated properly in future.
