As per the advice from the Staffs of Annamalai University mali madem through I have taken a DD of Rs.8000 for Tution Fees paid. . but my admission is not confrom.
I'am really tiered of making phone call to office, phone rings but no body picks the call. So if this is the case how can a student in India coplete his studies. I dont know whats there problem to pick up the calls, please somebody help me in this issue. her exam is start of next month she is very apset.

This annamalai university is one waste university good for nothing ..they dont pick the phone they have more than 30 numbers everything is either busy r no one picks the phone wht the hell this university people doing just coming to sit, eat, sleep nothing else they do...I keep calling them for an enquire..I have given my certificate for guineuity attestation..that is for U.A.E embassy attestation..for this attestation charge shuld be paid in the university were we studied...I shuld send one DD I want to know in whose name I should the DD that is in favour of whom..and to whom it be send...to ask this I keep calling them for past 3days..all the phone calls are busy and some numbers its ringing but no one picks the phone...just for enquiry they are giving the numbers but whats the use ...in annamalai university...my dear friends pls dont study in this matamannaaa univeristy..

I have completed my BA English in the year 2005. however I have not received my final year marksheet or the provisional certificate. After sending many emails through without any replies, I contacted them in the month of July and I was told that I had a pending due of Rs.300 so I sent them a DD for the amount mentioned following which I was promised that I would receive my TC, final year marksheet and provisional certificate on the first week of August.

Several follow up calls were made, letters and faxes sent however, I have not received a positive response for my request. I am clueless on the status of my request.

Yes, it is true. I came all the way from Kerala to attend the class in Annamalai University, Coimbatore Study Centre. I find the conditions worse as Joe has stated. When I went and asked the University representative of the Coimbatore Study Centre, he said " You pay fees, we give degree". Dont complain. you need not attend class. pass guarantee. I was really shocked to hear such a reply from him. The other staff informed me that he was a close relative of Vice Chancellor Dr.L.B.Venkatrangan. He was a school dropout who was made MBA and posted as the University Representative. I have filed an application regarding the sanitation, seating problems under RTI Act and awaiting reply.

Annamalai university is not providing any quality in their distance education. Some of the drawbacks noted at Bangalore study center.
1. The Lectures who are coming to take contact classes are substandard fellows, who doesn't know even proper English. Most of the time they will lecture in TAMIL.
2. When we attend the classes of some lecturers we will feel the university send some sweepers from Anna nagar for taking classes.
3. All the study material are with out-dated information, data and figures. They are not updating the study material periodically.
4.Students won't get study materials on time, even after sendng repeated reminders.
5. The exam sheets given for writing exams are of poor quality, such that if we written in one side same ink will be spread in the back side of the sheet.

I am shamful to say that I am studying MBA with Annamalai University. I went for the PCP Classes as its made compulsory. I dont know how they choose lecturers- dunces and muffs, who dont know spoken english. One guy was wearing jeans pant and wearing tie, with bathroom slippers. I appraoched him and asked whats the procedure for recruting lecturers.He asked me if I am interested to join Annamalai University. I replied yes and he told me to give 15 Lakhs Rupees to him, after I get the appointment order. No wonder the lecturers are substandard. None of my questions could be answered by them in the contact class. One guy even told me" Why you strain so much...Just Rs.5000/- per paper. You can give it to the DDE director himself, who is the Head of the department and pass with distinction guranteed. I was shocked and left the place and ultimately got 57% inspite of my hard work.

Hi Every body, i have also done my M.H.R.M. in Annamalai university, and i am from bangalore as well, but i did my exams in vellore, but i tell you all something people in annamalai university are good, infact i never faced any such kind of problems, that does not mean that it never happened to you guys, but i am telling you that people in channai are not such bad as you all have mentioned,
i have been in & out o[censored]niversities & in chennai as well, in do agree that few of them cannot speak good english thats because they had nothing like 1st language english, or that was not a must for them, but they are people willing to learn,
most of the lecturers are will aducated the only draw back may be english, so we have to adjust with that issue, just put ourself in their place in a different state where you dont know how to speak their language??????
I do not agree with people just comming our fron sweeping to teach classes, no one just takes that for granted, may be the lecturer who came in jean & tie, with slippers as you have said, I do not agree with this, that does not mean i am from the same place, or something, now a days people knows how to dress up, & may be he would have come from a village who joined, but its one of our duties to tell them how to come in big cities if you had guts!!!
We dont pay so much as other universities do for getting a degree & how can you expect high class facilities, if you needed something like that you should have joined in any other univercities,
i am not telling this to irritate you guys, but this universities was built for poor & people who had the thurst for learning only & also for people who wanted to get thrir degrr as they work, & many more reasons, there is nothing in this world so perfect as you expect, each and every universirt will surely have one or the other defaults in them, so just learn for your degrr & walk out if you have ony thing to inprove, tell it in a good way so that people will hear, not run away from the university

The only issue i am having is i did not get my convocation yet, it was my problem not applying on the right time, & now i am noit in India, so i have to re-apply for my convocation besides that i have nothing against annamalai university,
i loged on just to put my complaint, but felt i have to say few words about your comments,
there is no hurt feeling or i am not against any thing, but i felt that we as a student have to raise our voice in a good way & for the good will of the university we got our degree

Thank God. Eventhough I applied for Annamalai University I joined only @ Anna University Coimbatore. It is not that much worse but I heard in chennai both these universities offer better quality education and facilities. If anybody here is from chennai kindly reply

My Name is Sanju Samuel. I applied for a General MBA from Annamalai University . I was informed that the lectures would be in mumbai only and that was one of the major reason why i applied for a MBA from Annaamali University.

I was informed that i would get an Assignements which need to be completed and send to annamalai university.I was also informed that i would need to attend 8 lectures to which i agreed as well.

i was intimated that that the lectures wld be conducted in Mumbai on February 28, 2010. When i went there i was informed that there was another letter intimating that the lectures would be conducted in Chennai which i never recieved. they asked me to write a letter to the director of annamalai which i did requesting the director to conduct the lectures in mumbai and i gave it Rajesh Sir who is one of the staff members of annamalai university . He said that the director of annamalai university wlould certainly reply to the letter of complaint which we gave to him in the next 15 days .

As there was reply i had to go to the bhandup Centre of annamalai university to check with them . they said they have no idea about it . when spoke with rajesh sir, he spoke with one of vthe staff members at the centre who said that they would call us in a day ot two nd they never did.

i had to go again to bhandup centre for the same and there the person asked me to pay Rs. 4000 to them and i do not need to attend any lectures to which i refused. i also asked them about assignments which i have not received he said that they can give me the copy of the assignments and i also have to pay for the late susbmisssion .

One of the staff members at bhandup, told me that its too late now and we cannot do anything .he said that we can cancel the course but we will not refund the money i have to chennai to take back the course money.

I do not know what to do i applied for the course to learn and here i am with nothing . Pls help me...
