Apple India — Apple service center fraud.

I am Aakash Jugnu, a web developer. I have a MacBook Air

I was using my laptop until April 2020 there was no issue. In May the first week, the laptop was getting unexpectedly switched off and I was facing this issue for some time. On 13th May I gave my MacBook to 'Unicorn Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd, Shivalik, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi([protected]).

They repaired as it is in the warranty period and returned to me on 14th May. (Enclosed the delivery report) The problem got fixed.

Again after 15 days, I faced the same problem, and this time I was at my hometown in UP. So I checked the service center nearby and I got one but the review was so bad, so I called customer care. The customer representative ( Ranesh) suggested me to take it to the nearest service center so I told her about the bad reviews about the service center she was suggesting. She assured me that no need to worry regarding this issue. So I went to the service center stated below.

I submitted the MacBook on 10th June 2020.

They call me on 15th June and told that your MacBook will be ready on 18th you can collect it.

So on the 18th, I got a call from the service center that there is some corrosion on my laptop and it doesn't come under warranty and I have to pay 70K to 80K extra to repair. ( Note: New MacBook comes under 65K )

After this next day, I got a call from the customer representative and he said there is an issue in wifi adaptor. Again the next day he told me about another issue of physical damage and after this, he was convincing me that this product is not in warranty and you have to spend 70-80K. My case was assigned to Mr. Faisal. But every time the customer representative was different and I had to elaborate all the things again and again. I called Faisal also but his reply was only one reply i.e. " Please give me some time, I will help you out. I am asking for a report from the service center." I checked with the service center but they informed me that no one from apple support contacted him.

I am calling constantly to apple support and describe all the case from last month.

I am not understanding that suddenly how can all issues came up. I had only one problem and it got fixed in Delhi within one day.

And how can they are charging me 70k approx, that's a huge amount. The New Macbook Air is in 65k.

My MacBook has a warranty till 26th October 2021.

I am writing this because I am totally fed-up with apple service. It's also affected my work a lot and I have no option left for this issue.

That's why I choose this platform to raise my issue again and I hope you care about customers and you will take action against it ASAP.
