[Resolved] Axis Bank — Negative balance in savings account | |||||
I have salary account in axis bank from my first company after coming out of company i never used that account and i am went out of state for working. I called customer care to close account. But they told need to come to own branch. I received every time message as your account balance is zero and now also came like that. Now i am went to branch for asking closing of account they told you have negative balance for not maintaining minimum balance we kept negative balance. I shown my messages they given zero balance. They are told that is our business policy. My friend told that as per rbi no negative balance in savings account. I went another time for showing and closing that account but they told why we need to follow those rules. And we didn't received any instructions like that from our bank so you need to clear negative balance to close it. This type of cheating customers and rbi done by axis bank please take action against these type of cheating banks Was this information helpful? | |||||

I had a salary account with axis bank until April 2016 then i dint use axis bank at all. But then Government started debiting subsidy with axis bank. So when the account has been active and any how amount are being debited. Now when i go and check my account, its showing negative balance. What is the point? when RBI said no negative charges are applied if we maintain zero balance. Any way my account is used by Government for subsidy and so its active, then why showing negative balance.? Kindly assist, looking forward for positive resolution.

i also maintain salary account.. but monthly they are debiting consolidation charges about 1700rs..if i ask customer carr they are not answering properly they say as per out policy noms it will get minus and due to cheaq bound also it is high.. axis is no. 1 fraud bank.. eating out money..

I have axis salary account which got created in 2016 since I left the company I didn't use the axis bank account now when try to login in account it showing -4500 rupees negative balance and when I contacted customer care they are saying my account is dormant and I need to maintain 10000 rupees minimum balance...can some one please assist my contact number is [protected]
I also have same issue. My account showing 7000 negative balance. I stoped using my account since 2017. Complain circle nodal officer but no respond from his side. Totally unsatisfied with axis bank. Since I haven't used it for a long time the negative balance is giving me huge headache.The amount is going negative without any intimidation and I therefore when I tried to close the account the negative balance is really high. Which is against the rbi rules. Therefore please waive off the negative balance and then the account to be closed.

I had an opened zero balance Account from an axis bank. I have never used since 2 years ago. But nowadays I saw the account balance is showing negative balance. Axis Bank shows Advertisement only zero balance Account and free debit card with check book. But nowadays they are charges occurs. I want zero balance in my axis Account. Within few days.

I am not using my axis bank account from last 2 years. When i saw my account status, axis bank continously deducting charges and maintaining my negative balance account.
I have called to customer care and informed multiple times but they are not closing my account.
As per rules and guidlines, account should close in 2 years or less than that.

I had a salary account with axis in the year 2015 and I stopped using it from 2016 .I tried closing the account but am unable to because it shows some negative Balance .can you pls help me in closing the account .
