Hi,
I had brought Bajaj Avenger 160 bike in 2019. From the day 1 I’m facing some or other bike issue and after complaining multiple times (verbally visiting service center, on-call, emailing) at last the issue got resolved by changing the bike battery.
Now again I’m facing another issue, the petrol tank of my bike has got severe dents by vacuum created inside automatically as per my observation. I had visited Suryoday Bajaj service center which is at Malad west, as per the supervisor & manager the bike petrol tank has got dents due to putting pressure by my hand or making a child sit on the tank, which is next level stupid reason. As the tank is not made of some plastic or other weak material that it will get dents by putting small or minor force on it. Also the supervisor and the manager both made required observations and could see that there isn’t any accident mark on it or even a small scratch on the tank which could happen in case of an accident( in case you feel that I must be lying about an accident). Both manager and supervisor have thoroughly inspected the vehicle and found that there is no such thing to say that also. Further, the manager asked me to be rest assured and told me that he will send a mail to the concern department and the problem will be resolved at the earliest. Later, the manager called me upfrontly and told me that he has got negative response from the escalation team (to whom he has sent the mail) as well and gave no proper reason to that. Further, I also contacted area manager Mr. Parag Dande to my surprise even he is saying that the petrol tank has got dent due to keeping hand on the tank. The reasons you people are giving is just not acceptable at all. Your sales will go down if you tell the customer that the bike tank will get dents by placing hand over it.
So now I want to tell that I want a practical explanation over this. I want any of you guys to keep your hand (even both) on the tank and let me see how dent has taken place at first place. I am also giving full consent to even stand on the tank and make those dents on the tank. After this, if any more dent gets on the tank by doing practical, I will be solely stand responsible for the loss happened and leave from there without saying a word.
I am very much unhappy by buying a Bajaj bike. I would have instead bought a second or even third hand bike and then face such issues with it. Atleast I would have a mindset that I will have to face them as I have bought a used bike. But here even after buying a new bike, all I got from Bajaj is a big disappointment and mental torture.
