Dear concerned

I am extremely exhausted and harassed by your loans department (Or people may be posing to be from bajaj fin)

I received a call on behalf of your organization offering personal loan. On asking about the details i was explained a business plan wherein i need to buy an insurance policy equal to the amount of the loan required and would need to pay the insurance premium for the same for next 10 years and upon maturity of the same policy after 15 years, the loan amount and the interest of 5% would be deducted from the maturity amount and the balance amount would be paid back to me. I was given a loan approval id a[protected]l regarding the same.

This entire conversation was handled by a lady named preeti singh from delhi (Mob# [protected]) also, she had sent me details regarding this arrangement via sms from mob # [protected]

After discussions, we agreed upon an amount of 10lacs for the loan and a half yearly premium of rs. 50, 000/-

2 days later a representative of hdfc life approached me for the insurance and i completed the documentation and handed over a cheque of 50, 000 to him.

Issue 1

On 18th october i received the policy document and to my surprise, the half early premium mentioned on the policy document was rs.47, 847 against a receipt of rs.50, 000/-

I spoke to preeti again and she assured me that she has spoken to the concerned people and the difference amount will get refunded

Issue 2

Since i received the insurance policy, i was informed that the loan dispersal process would take approx. 15 working days so i waited patiently.in the meanwhile, i received a call from mob# [protected] posing to be from accounts department for verification of the loan details and final dispersal and was assured that a letter of appointment and the loan agreement will be dispatched to my address in next 24 working hours and an appointment shall be arranged to the local bajaj fin office where i would need to handover the original policy for mortgage and after that the agreed loan amount shall be credited to my account.

Now it has been over 4 weeks since this last progress. And i have been calling constantly to the following numbers to get status of my loan but no one is giving any concrete information. Getting below mentioned responses:

No answer, phone keeps ringing

Call waiting and then someone disconnects the call

Once in 2 3 days someone might pick the call and say that they will ask the concerned person to call back, then again no responses

In case call is answered. Someone new pics up the call and says they have no idea regarding the status and the previous person i spoke to is not available.

Today i visited ur chandigarh office and they said that they have no information regarding any such product and they cannot help and i should file a police complaint.

I have been calling these people non stop for last 3 weeks, at least 200 calls a day. Since morning there was no reply, i called from some other number and an executive shweta answered the call and said ria is in a meeting and they would ask her to call back.
To my surprise, on one of the numbers a rude girl answered the call and said "aaj chhat pooja ki chutti hai, office me koi nai hai" when i asked her that then how come your other phones are in use as i am getting call waiting on them, she disconnected the call and switched off the phone.

Now again when i called, an executive named atharv answered the call in an arrogant tone and said ria has gone home. On insisting to speak to any other senior person, he replied that call tommorow. When i told him that i have been calling since 3 weeks, he said "3 hafte se call kar rahe ho, kal kar loge to mar jaoge kya"

This is the way you guys treat customers after duping their money? Shame on u guys

These are the only 3 numbers i have for them, in case i ask for the number of their senior person, they say they are not allowed to share.

Now, i am not sure if these people are running a scam in name of bajaj fin or they are really so unprofessional assuming that they are your employees.in any case, i am stuck with an insurance policy of rs. 956, 940/- instead of 10lacs with a premium charged rs.47, 847/- against a payment of rs 50, 000/- and no clear status of the promised loan

I request you to kindly look into the matter and revert on urgent basis

Today again spoke to Shweta on [protected] and got the same reply that she had forwarded the request to the concerned persons last week and she will arrange a call back in an hour. Its almost 2 hours now. Last Friday also she committed the same but no call back or status update was provided by anyone.

Also, Please note that since last week I have observed that these people are not answering calls from my number [protected]. Every time I have been able to speak to them is when I have called from some other number and later on they don't answer calls from that new number also.
Fantastic Service

Please help me as I an in a big mess because of these guys.

I contacted the HDFC Life Insurance people also and as per them this insurance policy was sold to me through a TPA (details mentioned Below) if this helps in investigating

In response to the trail main and response from you end I would like to update you regarding the progress since

I have been constantly trying to get this issue resolved and have been able to contact the following people

1. Shweta ( Mobile No.[protected]

2. Anuj Agarwal from Transaction Department, Emp Code : BE-01690, ( Mobile No.[protected] I have called this number many times and spoken to Anuj, But since last few days a lady answers the call and sometimes says its not Anuj's number, sometimes she will say that Anuj is in a meeting, BUT SHE DOES ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SHE IS WORKING FOR BAJAJ FINANCE)

3. Sonia Kapoor : Sr. Manager ( Mobile No.[protected]

After I received this e-mail from your end, I constantly called up on[protected] which earlier belonged to someone named Ria and now for last 1 month another lady named Shweta answers the call. I informed her regarding the response I received from your end and she once again assured me that she will send an e-mail to the concerned team and get this resolved.

Next Day, I received a call from Mobile no.[protected] from a person named Anuj Aggarwal and he said that he is in-charge of my file as Preeti Singh has gone on an extended leave due to health issues. As per him the reason for the delay in the loan was that their accounts dept had put an enquiry regarding Transaction fee to be charged and since preeti is not there, the issue is pending since. He also explained that the product under which the loan has been offered, there is no such fee applicable and he will get it sorted. He requested me to give him 2 days time to get things sorted out. After 2 days he called me and then connected my call to his senior named Sonia Kapoor who said that she works as a Sr. Manager wd Bajaj Finance ( Mobile Number :[protected] and she reassured that the things are in motion and the loan shall be dispersed soon. This was during the first week of November

Since Then I have been in regular contact with Sonia Kapoor, But every week she keeps on giving one excuse or the other and says that it will be done within next 4-5 days and now today she said that she has received an e-mail that it will b done on 5th December.

Now

I understand that your response in the trail mail suggests that this offer was a scam but on the other hand I have been able to contact these people on day after day basis, So I am not able to come to a conclusion that If these people were frauds, why are they still responding to the calls.

Now the issue is, That based upon commitment of this loan I had made further financial commitments ( I was in need of finances, that's why I applied for this loan in first place) and now it has been more than 2 months that I am suffering. All My business is stuck up since then and am on the verge on a financial breakdown.

I would request you all to kindly look into this matter with some extra attention beyond you regular scope of escalation handling and get it resolved as soon as possible.

Also, I would really appreciate if you can provide me with contact number of some senior officials in your organization with whom I can discuss this matter over the phone rather than e-mails.
