[Resolved] Big Bazaar / Futurebazaar / Future Retail / Hometown — It looks like a kind of cheating. Wrong information is posted on online portals. When i reported this i got the refund. | |||||
I will mention my contact and order details first, then I will describe the exact problem and resolution(In fact no proper resolution) provided by amazon and how Home Town is posting false information about their product on different online shopping portals. Personal and contact details - ============================= Name - Pushpendra Location - India(Bangalore) Contact Number - +91 [protected] Email Id - pushp.[protected]@gmail.com Order Details - =============== Item description - HomeTown Willy 2-Door Wardrobe (Walnut) Seller - HomeTown Order Placed date - 5 September 2016 Order Number[protected] Amazon india ordered product link - https://www.amazon.in/gp/css/summary/edit.html/ref=dp_iou_view_this_order?ie=UTF8&orderID=[protected] Real product images shared by the seller - as an attachment Issue facing - ============= I place this order seeing the posted image and description off the product. By posted images we can clearly see that Its a three door Wardrobe. Even on the description seller clearly mentioned "External doors are lockable". Means they are trying to match description with advertised images. But yesterday(15/07/2016) I got the call from seller(Home Town) for delivery, at that time he mentioned that it is two door Wardrobe. So I suspected that the product which seller is going to deliver is different from placed order. So I contacted Amazon India customer service and they just dropped a mail to seller(Home Town). Then I asked the image of product which seller(Home Town) was about to deliver. Which were totally different from the ordered product. Today(16/07/2016) again I called amazon India customer care, and i was asked for images, which seller(Home Town) has sent me earlier. Then I was told that we initiated a A-to-z Guarantee claim and i was asked for refund. When I decline to take the refund then customer support promised me that ordered product will be delivered to me. But without my consent refund is initiated. When Home town found out that they are not successful in cheating me they just issued a refund. Today I saw the same advertisement on Flip kart, there Home Town is using the same false images and false description. Inquired with Flip kart and Flip kart shared the information that the wardrobe is 2 door. On one portal it could be human error, but on multiple portal you people are sharing wrong information. It looks like Hometown is cheating innocent customers like me. This is totally unethical. Was this information helpful? | |||||
