Bigbasket.com — Alteration in PII & Offer not provided | |
Hi I used to be a consumer of BigBasket and thus created my account which involved my email id as well. I stopped using the app due to bad experiences with their delivery etc. I, now, got a call from one of their executives (Megha, +91-[protected]) that they would like me to recharge my BigBasket wallet and in return they would give me an offer where I get my next 4 milk deliveries free. I agreed and recharged my wallet but was still unable to apply the code and then Megha insisted on applying the code from the back-end. I now realized that the code was valid for only new users and hence, she asked me for OTP and changed my email address in the profile without my consent. My email address was changed from [protected]@mbe-du.org to [protected]@gmail.com. The latter doesn't exist (at least in my knowledge) and could not be verified. Later on, Bigbasket also refused to give me the benefits which were promised to me initially. Anyway, I would definitely want to file a complaint against them for 1) changing my email id without my consent and adding a fake id. 2) Not providing the offer benefits which Megha promised initially. BigBasket executives now refuse to support me on this as my mode of communication (my correct email id) is not in their database. Looking forward to your support on this.
