Blue Dart Express — courier never reached the recipient | |||
A courier with tracking code [protected] was sent via. Volacno tours and travels in port blair on 7 december, 2017 to noida. I paid rs. 1000 for the courier. After almost a week when there was no response, i contacted the local dealer (I. E. Volcano travels, port blair). After 8 days of sending a courier, they told me that because the issued address was incorrect, the courier is going to come back. And after 13 days of sending the courier, they came to give it back to me. I have not taken the courier as i want my grievance to be redressed. There are two main complaints apart from the extremely unprofessional and loathsome service provided by the blue dart in port blair: 1. Assuming the address was wrong, the name of the sender with complete contact as well as the receiver with full, functioning phone numbers were provided. Why did your person not call to confirm/verify the address? Why was there no intimation before deciding to send the courier back? 2. I have been using the same address to send couriers to noida since years now. Never has such a problem occurred. I furnished a completely valid and legit postal address from my end. The person in port blair copied an incomplete address on his slip for which i am in a position to furnish pictures as evidence. I did click the pictures of the courier when they decided to give it back to me after 14 days of me spending it. This is symptomatic an extremely distressing non-nonchalant behavior from your end. There is a certain reputation blue dart carries and therefore we spend extra money to use your services. And for this? Not only did my courier never reached the recipient in time, it came back. Now do you want me to spend another 1000rs from my hard earned money to send the courier? Which means 2000rs only to send a courier that too not on time. There is a reason humans evolved from sending human/animal messengers to post/ speed post and then couriers. You as a firm are smart enough to guess your role especially considering the money you charge and claims you make. This is a sincere request to either refund my money or send the courier to the recipient as soon as possible without charging me a single farthing more. This is also a strongly worded complaint against the service providers (Name mentioned above) in port blair who are not just unprofessional, tardy but also rude and do not know how to talk to a woman. They have already misbehaved with my mother once over the telephone. It is only a matter of next time that we will have to report them to the police. Besides, you are a service provider we trust. You should be conscious of the repute you hold and reposing faith in it again, i request for a redress of my grievances as soon as possible. Was this information helpful? | |||
