Bluedart Express Courier — No one appears for delivery yet the status shows delivery attempted and consignee not available | |||||
Dear sir, It is a grievance mail regarding the poor service provided by one of the premium courier service provider - Bluedart. I want to share my experience with the bluedart services offered for my courier. I am a resident of Silvassa, capital o[censored]nion territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. On 25 feb 2016, I ordered an item named omron cushion massager HM- 300 on amazon preferred delivery through bluedart for my residence in Silvassa . The product was dispatched by the seller on 27 feb 2016.The product tracking id was [protected]. It reached Silvassa courier facility of bluedart, located at shop no. 1, Gokul Vihar, Khanvel road, Samarvarni, Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. On 29 feb 2016, i got the message stating that the product was out for delivery and would be delivered the same day, but no one turned up from bluedart with my package and in the evening i saw the status as ' delivery attempted and consignee not available. ( screenshot attached). NOW THIS WAS A COMPLETE SHOCK TO ME as me and my parents were at home for the whole day. I waited for the next day for delivery of the package but to my amazement, i got the same message again stating ' delivery attempted' - consignee not available. After this i could not wait and went straight to the BLUEDART OFFICE MENTIONED AT ABOVE ADDRESS, asked about the package and it was there at the bluedart office. I asked if it is not out for delivery, why have you updated the status as delivery attempted and consignee not available, to which they just passed a smile and kept silent. The staff there was horrible. The lady at the booking counter and other staff was totally shameless. I tried to get some reviews of the bluedart facility at silvassa and got very pathetic reviews of the facility and got to know that i was not the only one to face such problem. I have attached the screenshot of reviews from others regarding this problem related to bluedart silvassa and my own tracking details and status which was fake. I suggest you to take a strict action against the staff at the respective center of bluedart. They are ruining the image of a trusted courier service and shaking the faith of customers trusting in bluedart. The minimum charge for sending a consignment through bluedart is Rs. 310/- WHICH IS ALMOST DOUBLE THE OTHER GOOD COURIER SERVICES. Even after charging so high one gets this response from your side, it is really awful. A summary of action taken by you in this matter may be sent to me at [protected]@yahoo.com and [protected]@gmail.com and it will be appreciated. A copy of this mail is being sent by me to consumer forum ( ombudsman). In case of no action taken, higher authorities shall be contacted.
