Death of Patient During Treatment

Address: Indore

During treatment at Bombay Hospital, Indore, the untimely death of my patient was an extremely painful experience. Medical negligence in the ICU, the inaction of doctors, and the insensitivity of the staff worsened her condition. The doctor on duty was asleep in his cabin, while a short-tempered male nurse was left to care for 10 critical patients alone.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the delay in the refund process for the deposit payment made for the treatment of the patient under IP No. 2353475 at Bombay Hospital. Despite several attempts to follow up and numerous assurances, we are yet to receive the refund of the deposit amount.

    As you are aware, our organization made the deposit payment on behalf of the patient, trusting that the refund process would be efficient and timely. Unfortunately, the refund has been pending for an unreasonable period, causing considerable inconvenience and financial strain.

      Last week my elder brother was admited in Bombay hospital and operated by Dr SHAH is a neurosurgeon, and was shifted to bed number 604 6 th floor
      Then role start of nursing staff towards patients and relatives is so much disgusting like whole staff recruited from SLUM of Mumbai the way treat patient like animal so much careless ness no sympathy with a
      Patient at all the way they talk to patient relative is so disgusting
      So kind request to u pls take very serious action towards Bombay trust hopsital staffs

        In charge Nurse

        Would like to inform you’ll that your incharge nurse is absolutely ruthless and has no knowledge whatsoever to deal with patient family .
        This is my first and last time that I will get my mother back to this hospital .
        We admitted my mom last night in the ICU
        CLASS L11 wing BH wing
        I had just got asked into the icu room to meet my mom after a gap of almost 1hour 30 mins

        My father admitted hospital in ICU on 3/12/2022.doctor told us four days till Friday we will be shiftting him general ward.but when the time we inform account department abt cashless payment, they told us your father need ventilator.at the time when they are preparing for ventilator their ICU incharge Dr.Ashiah told everything to my father like kidney problem etc which effect my fathers willpower he had broken mentally.
        After that Doctor (Avinash Jain) daily told us we will make your father conscious you can talk, but his condition deteriorated day by day and training staff kept for care. Before he died my mother went inside that time, air problem occurred in ventilator.
        When we admitted hospital his condition that much bad, he was eating, talking.
        We took consultantion of others doctor also, but due to some ego clashes between them they are not working as team.
        When I recall the time when he admitted and discharge, everything seems liked planned.Dr.Jain not treated responsibly initially, condition getting worsen, n blame things on other health condition.

        Doctor prescribed immunoglobulin injection(Rs 18000/-) . they gave only one but bill charged for all three.

          Today I visited Bombay hospital indore bz of my cousin admited in ICU. I went to toilet but see the situation i shocked...worst condition of toilet, no cleaning, no any toilet paper or soap facilities.
          Even line bathroom toilet chocked, latrin worst in condition no water n all.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            In ICU we, relatives of Patient, normally go and see the Patient ones in a while. We alway have Trust that sisters or caretaker in the ICU Looks after Patient carefully and they do no doubt. But somtime we notice that sisters/caretaker don't pay proper attention. Today Blood pressure value was Out in place and the Air in it was Leaking. I told the sister that pleased fix it. After sometime i visited, may be after 1 and half hours, and noticed the sister closed the Patients Door and Said "don't visit again and again, and If i want to See the Patient then See from outside closed Glass Door"

            If sisters are doing their Jobs Well, i think we don't have to Pin Point what ist Working and Not Working.

            Also ICU is supposed to be a quit place but all sisters and staff Insider ICU keep talking and calling each others so loudly af If they are in Cinema Hall.

            I hope you will improve this in Future.

              My father surgery is done last year. After taking the advance payment for the surgery 80% we got approve the cashless. And the amount we paid in advance was not giving us back till todays date its been 3 month. And the billing department is so bad that they us not replying on mail also and not giving us the payment back.

                I have admit my uncle to bombay hospital about heart related operation where in iccu I visit to know the detail about discharge and claim related formality but I m shocked to understand the behaviour of Mr.Idris khan team member (Shailendra) who are available there. They abuse me and throw me out in a very bad manner. I seriously suggest everyone don't go to Bombay hospital for your dear once.

                    As i have observed today that the door bell of Neuro ICU Room is not working when i was visiting Neuro ICU room around 9:30 pm to give something to my mother that was asked by sister in-charge of my mother. And even after knocking the door for around 15 minutes no body came to open the door. After waiting for 15-20 minutes one of the sister came to open the door and told us that door bell(emergency and guest bell) are not working. And when i asked that sister where is the security guard. She told me that after 9 pm security guard is not available here and we are only the responsible person here to take care of whole ICU room. I found very strange and was shocked after listening this. Is this the process you follow here in hospital. What if, if there is some emergency and we want to talk with the patient. This is how you maintain and manage the ICU room facility. Door bell is not working, no security guard is available. What rubbish is this. I don't know what's wrong with Bombay Hospital service and management. I have stayed here for 3 days as of now and will have to stay for more 6-7 days. And i have experienced very bad management till now.

                      Nursing staff in ICU floor 5 (indore)

                      I have so many things to share. Will share point wise. My experience with the 5th floor icu nursing staff is really bad and for my patient. Please keep reading.

                      1. Patient asked to have a word with the attendant over call, but the nurse said calls are not allowed in icu (very rudely).
                      On the contrary, I called in the icu to let the patient know that I won’t be able to come and meet him and they actually gave the phone...

                      I was hospitalize there on 29/01/2020 at that we have shown him report of PETST Scan report of Maxis which was for cancer but he just ignore this report we had regular complain on our regular visit that I am not feeling well He had again done Endoscopy & coloscopy report which was done earlier and after that give only medicine of crone disease upto 04/09/2020. We have paid his Fees 4500/- / 2500/- and also paid for Crone disease medicine. He has no time to check patient report properly & not giving answer to Patient question. Just stand up and open door so patient go
                      Due to his such negligence he put us on big trable when we approach another young Dr. after just showing our report and after some another report I have diagnose with Cancer which is spread in my all parts of stomach
                      when this GENEOUS has no time to check properly patient after taking such huge fees why he is playing with patient life

                      We Came there with our past experience with Bombay Hospital so we request you to kindly take immediate action on this corporate Dr who only want to make money by playing with patient life

                          I, Shadab Patel younger brother of Shazeb Patel who was admitted on 3 May, 2021 and discharged on 11 May 2021 at 10 am. I was told by the billing department that they won't be charging me for 11 May 2021 as you are discharged by 10 am at the time of final settlement. And also told that if you have any disputes relating to the billing you can come afterwards and you would be provided resolution. Now on 13 May, 2021 when i was checking the bill the hospital authority has charged me for 11 May 2021 and when i went to they regarding the issue they reluctant to solve it and are saying that once settlement is done we don't do anything. Please let me know if you want to resolve the issue and require any documents relating to it. Is the way a hospital loots patient?

                              The Reception has only one counter active whereas there is provision for two counters . It takes more then one hour to just to do registration.
                              When you are taking this big amounts for single visits why cannot the process be make smoother

                                As am Navin kumar from indore want to clearly tell u that about my fathers prostate surgery admission at indore bombay hospital was very harrassment and pathetic regarding administration and mediclaim department team, first of all they dont know manners to speak, secondly especially that guy name avinash in mediclaim department is useless n pathetic fellow who thinks himself owner of the hospital just kick him out of the job n teach him to how to speak with elders inspite of taking pre approval before 5 days but at time of admission everything changed room category n want to loot more money unnecessarily...this is purely cheating n harrassment n blackmailing...please take neccessary action against these culprits
