Defective Refrigerator

We had purchased a 160 litres Kelvinator single door fridge from this particular dealer(AF Metro Home Appliances). The fridge worked for 2 days and then we had to call for repair work and was told by the technician that there's a problem with the cooling system and that they'll fix it, because that was in their policy. Since the lockdown up until now they have not responded to any of our calls and the fridge lays not usable at home taking up a good amount of space. The website mentioned is fake or not accessible to check the details. The mobile number provided is not reachable; so are the alternate numbers provided.
We want a full refund of the amount and this damaged product to be removed from our house as it is useless at this point.

Bad After Service - Fraud

We purchased a fridge and a washing machine, first the delivery guy came a day later as promised and then the lockdown happened.
The delivery person said that keep the fridge on for about 3 hours and then it will start cooling which never happened.
We contacted them immediately to which they replied that due to lockdown we can't come and that we understood.
But even when the lockdown has eased out, they have stopped responding to our calls and messages.
And sometime when they pick up, they make fake promises like we will come on this day or that day.
but nothing happens and they make excuses every single time.
And they get ruder every time when they pick up.
Extremely bad service, we won't recommend this to anyone.

Upon checking the reviews online, they truly seem to be a fraudulent company.
Please avoid such scammers. They also operate on OLX too.

We bought a second hand fridge through olx from af metro home appliances. We had specifically asked for 4 start rating and above the guy we spoke to (Arbaz) promised the fridge is 4 star at the price of rs.7000 and confirmed next day delivery. Fridge was delivered on 5th may evening after so many follow ups. The people who delivered were mohamad (Attaching the mygate entry photo) and the owner abdul as introduced by himself. Our old fridge and stabilizer were taken as an exchange. We had to pay an additional rs.6000 for the new fridge and rs.200 as they labor charge. We were asked to wait for 3 hours before turning the fridge on and gave us the warranty card. Once it’s turned on, we could see that it’s not cooling enough. After waiting for 2 days, on thursday evening we called up abdul to let him know that fridge is not working as it should. There is slight cooling in the freezer and fridge is not cooling at all. He said it will be fixed and asked us to wait. We kept on calling him and he dodged the calls multiple times. He was not answering the call or switched off/ not reachable. Spoke to arbaz as well and got a similar response. Additionally, we found that the power rating card was of kelvinator fridge on the videocon fridge we purchased. Need a full refund of rs.7200.

I purchased kelvinator mini fridge from a metro home appliances, #58, pollyanna garden, 3rd stage, 2nd cross, opp. Bill masjid main gate, arabic college, bangalore-560045, [protected]@gmail.com on 17/02/2020 they delivered faulty not cooling fridge, they assuring 3years warranty and 70%buy back, from one month i'm calling every day to attend the problem, but they say today i'll coming, but they will say can i come on 10pm they not have a manner how to behave with customer, they are not return my money or they are not repair the fridge

So i have been calling the manager of af metro home appliances regarding a washing machine i brought from him. The machine is broken since a month and they had promised servicing. However they don't reply to calls. And when they do, they say they will call back or send a tech guy next day. Most ridiculous service. Please don't buy from here. Need such scammers to close down

Bought a fridge from this company. They sell bad condition appliances. They only fraud people by saying good condition fridge with 3years of warranty and free delivery. Fridge is not working. They only keep saying will replace it and on the day of delivery they stopped responding to calls and messages. They only loot people hard earned money. If you say that we will raise a complaint to police or consumer forum they only make laugh of it

Updated by Poulomi Kundu On the bill the manager name is Abdul. But the person who sells the fridge and gives fake promises said his name Shoyaib. He will only fraud by saying "I will replace the fridge", but Abdul (manager) doesn't know about it. If any appliance doesn't work shoyaib will only say please contact to Manager who doesn't pickup phone or respond to messages.

Got information of af metro home appliances from olx. So i spoke to the person (Mr arman, mo.[protected] and then visited the store.
Terms and condition:
They will deliver freeze within 24 hours, with all parts properly functioning, also with polish outside and complete cleaning inside. And also he explained that if find any damage in the freeze you can contact us, our service man will come to your home and do service for free within 24 hours
Current scenario:
But we got refrigerator damaged, there is no door available in the freezer, also the other parts were broken.
We are trying to call him but very rare he is receiving our call and saying that my technician will come tomorrow.
Freeze purchased date is 14-sept 2019.

They are saying everyday that technical will come tomorrow and they did not coming at all.
They are just lier, i read reviews from internet then i came to know, they are just explain good things to convince people for purchasing freeze and after selling they are not even answering,

damaged products delivered
I bought a washing machine and a fridge on 28.07.2019 from a dealer named af metro home appliances deals in second hand home appliances situated in bangalore.
Samsung washing machine | 6.5 kg and a whirlpool fridge 190 l
The company guaranteed 3 year warrantee on the products and free delivery.
At the time of order i saw that fridge two tyres was not there and washing machine one front tyre was not there and washing machine plug was damaged so i told the owner about this and he assured and promised that when it will be delivered it will fixed and i made a advance payment also.
After that he told today you will recieve the product at 6.00 pm. So i went to my place where there are no facilities of bedding as i am shifting my things slowly. I went there and started waiting for my product to come and after hundreds of calls they reach my place at 11.30 pm.
When they delivered the product i was surprised to see that neither they have fixed the washing machine nor the fridge and washing machine half of the wire they cut and put it tape on it and the fridge light is not working it was dark in that.
I told the delivery persons who was from the same company that product is damaged and i will make the payment when you will fix the problem. Then they called the owner and i shocked to see the behavior of the owner he was not the same which he was at the time of delivery and told that in second hand things problems will be there and was so rude. After all arguments i still made the payment and he assured that tomorrow the technician will come and fix it.
Next day the technician has not come and they are not receiving my request also and warning me that my warranty is cancelled.
They are cheating the people in bangalore. All are frauds.
Desirable resolution for our complaint-
1. We need a complete refund.
2. We need them to take back their product
3. Repair is not at all asked now.

I had brought a fridge from them on 01/05/2019, which has not worked at all even once after i switched on. So immediately i called their manager mohammed and asked to take the scrap of fridge and refund my money. He promised (Fake) he will exchange the fridge but will be delayed. However, they were too fast to deliver a faulty fridge and get my money. Nowadays they don't even pick my call. They scam through online, especially through olx. Later, when i went through google, their company has very bad reviews and i understood the good reviews are manipulated and fake reviews by them with different names and accounts. They run this fraud business by cheating people. Kindly help

I had purchased a whirlpool second hand fridge from them though OLX, which they delivered on 1st May 2019 as they assured and promoised me that the fridge was working perfectly, but it was not even worked for one hour after delivery, other than the inside light, the compressor didn't start at all ( the motor makes a sound if it works) and no cooling or chilling inside.So I called their so called manager ' Mohammed' and informed the fact that it was not working since delivery .Moreover, they had offered 3 years of warranty and exchange of fridge in case of any problem. The manager told he would exchange the fridge but he did not send anyone or a different fridge.I kept on calling them many times.But they didn't even pick my call and give any solution.So I took the scrap of fridge to their shop along with my friend.We asked for our money to return.Then, one fellow, Sam Anderson ( This is not his actual name), talked in temper and questioned for bringing the fridge without their permission.It was so " who asked you to bring the fridge back.?" . We told him we had called them and asked for exchange and they didn't do anything as they promised even after 10 days from delivery. After spending money and trusting them, finally, it became my mistake because I asked for exchange or money back for their scrap.They behave in a very bad manner when we ask for their service.However I left that piece of scrap there as my house is not place to keep their waste materials.Those frauds again told they would check and let me know the solution about which I know that they are simply lying. So, dear friends, please be careful and beware when you deal with these people.For the sake of God, it is better not to purchase any items from these frauds.Actually none has time to go behind them evenif someone is cheated by them .That is an advantage for them.We all just leave the amount asif we offered it to some beggers.In other words, it is not a bussiness. it is just stealing someone's money. I bought a washing machine from them on 13th April 2019. after delivering the product they ask me to get the connections done from the plumber for the pipe inlet to washing machine. They tuk full payment by promising me that they will do any help if washing machine doesn't work after connection of water inlet.
I got it done in the evening by the plumber and later when I switch on the washing machine it was not working. I called him, his name is wahid Khan and explain them that the washing machine is not working. He told me that he will send the technician in another half an hour. It's been 12th day since they deliver the washing machine to my house. But they have never responded back. I have been calling them at least two thousand number of times from different different mobile. they are picking the calls but laughing and they are saying that they will do it tomorrow in another 30 minutes ok already on the way and things like.
from 13th of April 2019 till today they have not send any technician not there exchanging this damage product I want a serious help from consumer court because just now I check that there is already many such kind of complaints about their company and I have paid them 5400 rupees for the second hand washing machine which they provided me which is a waste product completely. We have bought fridge from af metro home appliances on 20th feb 2019 from then till now we are following up with them to replace it or repair it but no one is giving positive revert. Either they will not pick our phone or there mobile will be switched off.
We are in touch with mr imraan (Store guy) he is just giving some date every time but not delivering.

First of all they did'nt bring the vegetable tray at the time of delivery. When i informed the manager, he said he'll deliver the tray the next day. It has been more than 6 months but they have'nt delivered it yet, inspite of calling again and again.
Two days ago, the refrigerator started showing some problems, it wasn't cooling properly(or not at all cooling). I have been calling since then but he's not even picking the call. Truecaller shows his name as 'Naam Janke Kya Karoge'. They had provided about 5 contact numbers along with the bill, but most of them are not operable and the rest never pick the call.
At this point, what should i do. I'll do everything to make sure their services are shut down.

Appliances that was a good very condition also they have given 3 year warranty show the product is very good condition and I have called the customer care also for the doubt customer care number to giveing clearly responses I don't have any Dot from this company if you want to get any product in OLX please contact this company they will give a very good service... also I have seen there are many reviews about this company but some people is lie I have doubt why because there are showing the demo also they have given for me free home delivery and promise they will give a 70% buyback and I have returned to this product so I don't have any Dot and I appreciate this company

I have bought a second hand fridge with them. It was not working. After two months of marathon call they have replaced with the other one. That also not working. I'm calling them from last 2 months. No one is responding. They are telling that manager is not there and owner is not there. Twice one guy picked the call and told that they will come and take. But no response after that. I want the money to be refuded.

This is a sham company I found on OLX, unfortunately didn't know at the time. Sweet-talkers. Sent me the second-hand refrigerator. It worked for 6 days, and never worked after that. I wish I had read this before buying the washing machine from these frauds.
I wish i had also seen it before buying. Sweet talk on phone turned out to be a source of tension since last 2 months.
I had received a friged form them it dint work even for one hrs ... I dropped by to there shop and got back 80% of the money back...guys plz take it money back from them they a top class cheaters don't leave them ... he will do a lot of drama after coming to the shop also but don't leave them take back home much ever u get ..

We ordered a washing machine on 4/12/18 from a dealer named af metro home appliances situated in bangalore.
Samsung washing machine | 6.2 kg
The company guaranteed 3 year warrantee on the products.
After using it for a month it turned out that the washing machine had a damaged motherboard due to which it stopped functioning and we called them to register a complaint for it and get it repaired asap.
The person sent a technician to check the product who showed up after 3 whole weeks. The guy said the motherboard is damaged and took it along with him.
Now calling them repeatedly day after day, requesting them to provide their promised service.. The person kept postponing it all over again and later even stopped responding to calls.
We assumed that since it was ramzan season, the person might not be available to provide any suitable resolution, we waited patiently and called him a day after eid.
We have kept hearing answers and excuses like-
"i will be there on satuday"
"i will be there on wednesday"
"i will be there at 6 pm"
"i will be there in 2 hours"
"i am on the way, sir.. Coming to your place only"
"sir, can you hear the traffic noise, i will be there in 45 minutes, by the maps"
"sir, i am not the person, i am his brother.. Yes people say we have same voice..".. And started laughing!!
Every single day, they would come up with something absolutely new. Hats off to their creativity. I have no clue with how many customers he is fooling around on a daily.. Hourly basis!!
They are merely a bunch of cheaters, all they care is to just sell the product. After sales if the product gets damaged, they don't give a damn. Horrible experience. They deliver damaged products with fake assurance of warranty.
But we still keep calling them hoping at least one day we would be serviced or they would return the motherboard that they took away.
Today, 7/1/2018, he says - "come to the shop and talk.. As if i would come toh bhot bura hoga phir".
This is the level of craziness of dealers - they can now simply threaten anybody!!
Desirable resolution for our complaint-
1. We need a complete refund.
2. We need them to take back their product, as it a pure waste #.
3. Repair is not at all asked now.

Happened same with us.We have been looted by bunch of cheaters with the same story.Now they abuse us if we call them and if we threaten them to file a complaint in consumer forum they laugh and say you can do as you wish to.

hello my dear customers we r here to solve ur problems all with our heart and very happy service so wat i mean to say is as a prop and managing director of metro home appliances i leave a massage to all customers like plz use a professional language and not to abuse a executive and please be polite till ur problem is solve and this is seconds product their will be some problem in product but this is not the way u speak with our management and all this customers has commented hear there problems r solved and just to spoil the name of our company .

Also please learn some english as what you have written no one will be able to understand.

I’m following up since 15 days n your not answering my call ..how much more polite u except us to be..it’s frustrating even after paying we can’t use the appliance it’s is just a piece of thrash kept outside our door for which we have paid 4-5 k..please do something about it ..it’s a request once again

I bought a washing machine from these guys in August. It never worked. They didn't send any technician for checking this for a month even after calling them daily. I request the authorities to please look into this asap so that they don't do this with any other consumer and have them pay the full refund with interest to all the complainants.
Same happened to me too.. Bought a fridge, never worked. One person came to see after a week, took board and said will come in 2 days. 2 months passed no one has come yet. Even went to shop twice, they talk like ###.. It was like they were indirectly saying do whatever you want we will not do any service once we sell the machine.I wish I had read these reviews about these frauds before buying.

Yes Prerna, you can file an FIR complaint of Offence under Section 415 & 420 (Cheating) of the I.P.C.against Mohammad/Shop owner.Then once you have FIR you can send a legal notice to mohammad/ any one handling the shop. Once you have all the documents you can proceed with the case.

We can post bad reviews and complaints in OLX as well. So that they can be out of OLX.
This guys are A rated certified cheats and frauds. They give all kinds of promises and assurances to sell their defective product but after delivery they simply stop returning calls in case of a defect. We are filing an FIR in their names and numbers and also in the name of AF Metro Appliance. Let the police and law take care of these goons.

Same happened with me. Their business is to cheat and loot people hard earned money. I bought a fridge. They delivered a waste product. Now just fooling by saying they will replace or repair. They don't respond or pick up phone. Simple fraud people they are.
Iam totally statisfied with there product, if there is any minor or major problem they immediately response and solve our problems thanks mujeeb sir..i recommand my other friends too once again thank alot sir.😊

I also got cheated by these fraud from AF Metro. I bought a washing machine. I was moving out of Bangalore and wanted to sell it back. They outright rejected it without any decency. Their language is also not at all of a civilised person.
