Amount deducted but booking not confirmed

Today we had a reservation in leopard rock wildness resort at Ooty but when we checked in, there is no confirmation from the Agoda website to hotel and from hotel side they don't have any tie up with Agoda. So I try to contact Agoda through mail there is no reply for that and no customer care response also.

Gostops WRONG address

SCAM ALERT- we had booked a room in gostops mussorie on agoda and arrived the hostel. Upon arriving they said it is another gostops somewhere in dehradun. However, upon showing booking confirmation they agreed to this SCAM /wilfully done mistake where *MAP LOCATION (see attached image) *📍 and address says Mussorie but when you arrive you have to cancel it, and forced to make a new booking at triple cost! Attaching screenshot below.
Dont fall for this TRAP and get cheated at last moment when you arrive at the property! Due to this we lost about 10000rs (3000rs towards cancellation and 7000 towards last min urgent booking due to this incorrect map location mistake from gostops on agoda)
If you care for the customer the least you can do is honor the booking at the initially agreed booking amount atleast on a different future date!

Amount debited but no confirmation or booking ID generated
11719. 57/- INR debited from my HDFC acc while trying to book a hotel on Agoda's website. The booking didn't confirm and did I receive any mail or information on why the booking didn't confirm and when I can expect my money to be refunded.

For fake images of hotel booking in Broholic hotels
I have booked a room at Broholic hotel via Agoda App in order to confirm the booking i have made the complete payment when arrived at hotel there is not even a little relation with the picture i booked when i questioned both the parties that broholic hotels and agoda (booking app) non of them responded the room was very dirty and smelly and not even 1 % related with the picture posted for booking asking for refund not even concerned at hotel this is really a big cheating to all innocents i have paid money 3108 /-

Refund of wrongly booked hotel

I wrongly booked nazri resort with Booking ID[protected] in the name of Parveet kumar. At the time of booking it was showing reasonable price but at the time of payment it increases the price. It comes into category of fraud. You requested to please cancel the booking and refund the amount as soon as possible. Otherwise i have only chance to go to consumer court.

I have got a really bad experience with booking a preferred Agoda Hotel which I prepaid. When I arrived at the hotel the owner told me he did not see anything and he never gets paid from Agoda. So he told me I could get a room but I had to pay again and even twice as much as the Agoda rate. I refused, he then offered me a ‘free room' in a different cheap Guesthouse which was also his, but I had to write a letter to Agoda I got a room. The owner was very intimidating and hostile. I found myself another hotel. When I reported this at Agoda they told me I won't get money back because I annulated. I did not annulate, the owner scammed me. I found a lot of reviews on Google from people who experienced the same. The hotel is scamming tourist for years, I reported this to Agoda and asked why they still have this hotel on there site and even as preferred supplier. I then get an offer for a refund of 50%. I refused, they then offered arround 75% in Agoda cash. I refused, now they are still investigate it but I now got an email they do not refund anything. So it starts all over again. It even looked like they played the game together with the hotel owner. Shame on you Agoda, can not imagine Booking Holdings is behind this

Hotel denied to give room, replied no room available, my booking was confirmed, and I was with my family, and same complaint to goa police, police came and verified it...but unable to solve it, police replied to complain to consumer forum...hotel name is casa ether Calangute goa.. booking details are attached to it... please do needful and take action PLZ... humble request that other visitors won't harassed by this type of hotels and site...plz

Hi my booking id #[protected] I was duped the hotel was completely different then what was shown in the website also I was given a twin sharing bed instead of double bed.. The staff was rude and uncooperative..

My Booking ID was[protected]. While making the booking, I had selected 3 people, including breakfast. However, during check-in, I was told that the booking was only for 2 people and I had to pay an additional amount for the 3rd person.
I came across a similar situation today. While booking a room at Fairfield by Marriott, Anjuna, Goa, I was booking a room including Breakfast & Dinner, however, when I moved ahead to the next page, it showed only Breakfast included.
This is deliberately cheating Customers, as Customers will rarely spot the omission on the next page, as they trust the website to not do this. I have screenshots of today's issue.

I booked a hotel from agoda website from 27-29 two nights stay at Tirupati marasa Sarovar hotel and my booking id:[protected] while visiting to hotel they said u can’t check in if you have same district ID proof I.e, Tirupati is located at Chittoor district, amnot from Tirupati but another part in Chittoor district, and they said cancel booking from agoda site but am unable to cancel booking and I lost whole hard earned money 😞 kindly help me out for refund

Hotel Booking through Agoda Website

I had booked hotel stay at Ras Resort Silvassa for 2 days through www.agoda.com website. Hotel was booked for 21st Dec'21-23 Dec'21.
and booking Id for the same is[protected].
While booking the hotel, it was clearly mentioned at Agoda website that cancellation is free and there wont be any amount charged for cancelling the booking. i have attached screen shot from the website clearly mentioning free cancellation.
Due to some reasons, I had to cancel my hotel booking, however to my surprise while cancellation, I was informed that 30% of total booking amount will be charged.
I raised this issue with Agoda Customer Care to clarify and they responded that amount charged is as per hotel's cancellation policy.
If hotel's policy is not providing free cancellation then why Agoda is misleading customers by mentioning FREE CANCELLATION at website.
This is clearly a case of fraud, cheating and misleading by Agoda where their website is mentioning free cancellation however at the time of actual cancellation they are cheating the customer with the excuse of hotel policy.
This is totally un-ethical and fraud practice from AGODA where customer has been cheated and ended up in loss of money.
As i have faced the monetary loss in this fraud activity by Agoda, i want refund of the amount charged for my hotel boking cancellation.
Requesting to resolve the issue.

Agoda is cheating customers by mentioning something on the website but we encounter something different at the Hotel. It has happened to me too.

Complaint against room booking
I am booked a room at OYO 1A, Rampur Nagar, Great Noida from[protected] to 25-11-21 through the Agoda website. but when I arrived at check-in that time the hotel manager or staff can't give me the room that I had booked and also they were not provided me with the booked rooms.. Hotel booking not done, money deducted

Booking cancelled by hotel not refunded
Booked Easy hotel Cardiff for son who was filming down there for two weeks. The first week was fine, but when he turned up on 18th October for his second week, he was told he couldn't check in as he wasn't yet 18. The hotel said they would refund, but it would have to be done through Agoda. Been trying for over 5 weeks to get a refund, but no joy. The hotel won't send us proof that they cancelled the booking, so Paypal wouldn't refund either. Not happy that we had to pay out more money to book elsewhere, expecting a refund which never came.

Cancelled my hotel booking and didnt inform through call or message
Agoda is just not the right place to book anything. I had booked one night stay in goa. It was confirmed. To my surprise when I went to hotel they said they never received any booking. When I see the app it says it’s cancelled. They never called or msgd me that they have cancelled due to some error at their end. When I call them they say you never received voucher from us hence you can’t take it as confirmation. My money has also not been refunded yet. Last min I had to run around to search for hotels with my 2 year old. Their customer service also is very bad. Lesson learnt from my first booking with them

I booked room through Agoda for 1st Nov 2021 in Amritsar at Sita Niwas and amount to Agoda through online mode and before one day of check in I contacted Hotel for confirmation and Hotel replied that Agoda is a fraud Agency and they are not tied up with them and denied my booking and I faced lot of problem apart advance payment made to Agoda, which don't have working customers care contact no in India and not have any office in India

I have made a booking for 2 rooms at Fairfield by Marriott benaulim goa india for 1st Nov 2021 to 6th Nov 2021 . The money has been debited from my credit card ending in 0506 . Email id used is [protected]@gmail.com. However I have not received the booking id. Or the booking confirmation email. . No customer service number available for Agoda . Pls help
