Agoda deducted money from my account for a hotel reservation but still shows as payment pending.

Worse is there's no way on the website and not even a contact number listed to reach out to the customer care service.

        Sir,

        I am trying to book 7 nights in Dubai two rooms in the month of November on your application. I am trying to make the payment since last two days and I also tried credit card and different debit cards but none of them shows me successful payment. I am literally Tired of this procedure kindly give me the solution as soon as possible because the prices of the rooms are surging at a very exponential rate. I had already received a rate of Rs.68, 422/- with breakfast. And now I am getting the surged charges about 88, 000/-. This is just unfair on your part. Give me the old rate and the valid payment link so that I can confirm my booking.

        I am waiting for the your positive response.

          Today I booked hotel room in Goa for 3 days with Agoda App. I booked it and paid the full amount . After the transaction my money got deducted from the back. But no booking id or any transaction history in the app. Please help me to get the refund back . Bec no proper customer service . Will it return ??

            I Taruna bhanwani have done booking by Agoda site by booking id no[protected] in hotel sylverton mussoorie, but when I reached mussoorie hotel sylverton, they denied any room booking s .It is complete physical and mental harassment to search a room on 2 nd October . I was fully charged for this room . Please help

                I tried to book a room in karogi Haweli hotel but It failed and money got deducted from my credit card. I did not get any booking information neither refund.pathetic service

                  I had booked a night in New Delhi in Hotel Clark Heights for 2nd August 2021. Booking Id [[protected]]. Upon reaching the Venue I was informed they have no tie-up with Agoda and I have no bookings in their hotel, I showed them the Confirmation email but they denied having any booking.
                  Agoda took the payment and kept showing the booking is confirmed.

                  Before booking the Address they showed on their Site was Karol Bagh as wanted that area, post-booking the address shifted to - 1/1, West Patel Nagar, Near Metro Pillar-209 New Delhi and NCR India 110008.

                    I booked a hotel room for one night in Le Royal Amman for $119 online. The first credit card attempt was declined by my bank. I called the bank and bank said okay to resend. I cancelled the booking and resubmitted booking request on a new booking ID. Agoda went ahead and took both payments even though one was cancelled.
                    After several emails with both hotel and Agoda, neither would fux the duplicate billing. I told Agoda this non refund was unacceptable. Agoda offered me a half amount coupon which can be redeemed on any new credit card booking in future. I told them this is unacceptable. Agoda refuses to make this duplicate payment good 100% and refuse refunding.

                      I had booked a room at ORCHHA RESORT, TIKAMGARH, MADHYAPRADESH for the day 10 th July of 2021 via www.agoda.com.AGODA give me a confirmation id[protected] on my mail adress in the mail they confirmid my booking at ORCHHA RESORT.When i reached the hotel i saw the hotel is totally closed .I drive with my family over 300 km to reach there. I called on property contact no. Given on confirmation email but phone dose not picked. I tried to contact the Agoda helpdesk, but their contact number was not mentioned any where (In their site or booking confirmation email). I would like to take immediate legal action on Agoda and want my prepaid amount to be reimbursed.

                        I have been cheated, I was looking for hotel on 13jan2021 to stay in ITC grand chola. I have not payed at that time. I have not received any confirmation on email or mobile. But next day I have been charged. What they claim I have not given my email ID correctly. The hotel people r saying they have received proper booking and since u have not show up next day they have debited and they can’t refund back. Agoda people r saying we can’t refund.

                          I had booked a room in the hotel OYO Home 48868 Spacious Studios Baga for the days 21st to 22nd Dec 2020. When i reached the hotel, the hotel manager denied my checkin that the property has discontinued its partnership with OYO. I called by OYO helpdesk, however, they could not assist me with anything and blamed Agoda for everything. The said that the booking details are unavailable in their database. I tried to contact the Agoda helpdesk, but their contact number was not mentioned any where (In their site or booking confirmation email). I had to search for other rooms at 10:pm in the night with my family to book another room. I would like to take immediate legal action on Agoda and want my prepaid amount to be reimbursed.

                          I booked my Hotel in Shimla for 2 guests me and my mother for 12 th june to 14 th june and I prebooked it a day and got my email confirmation saying that the hotel is booked and my room is ready. After reaching Shimla and paying 500 in cab and reaching the hotel, the hotel denied any help and said will not accept my check in as they are giving room at high price and denied check in asked me to speak to customer. With a 63 year old mother I had to take another cab and get dropped and I am still searching for rooms, stuck outside and unable to contact Agoda customer care number and the Chat service is sayin my booking id doesn't exist.

I called the hotel on 24th and it said the name of the hotel has changed for past 1 year, our hotel is completely booked and Agoda has given us no communication on booking. I would like to get my money back immediately and black list this application

                              Agoda is not refunding the balance amount after cancellation of flight ticket. So pathetic and rude organisation which tries to eat up customer money. Reference ID:[protected].

                              Best part is, to avoid customers reaching to them, the customer care number they have published on their site for India has been switched off.

                              Now I have no option, but to drag them to court. Never ever book anything through Agoda, if you want peace of mind.

                                Refund not received

                                It has been more than a month since Agoda has initiated a refund of ₹3943 but I haven't received it yet in my bank account. Agoda has provided me with all the refund details and has adviced me to raise a complaint in the bank....

                                  I made above hotel booking through Agoda for my stay in Hyderabad from April4-8, 2020. As lockdown implemented in the country I received refund on April 4, that was charged on April 31 by agoda. But on April 8 they charged me again. I have been following up with them every day but they are not processing my refund.

                                    I got promotion flash from agoda for goa hotel in the range of 6000+.
                                    While i was booking 2 rooms for 3 nights. While doing it online it asked me to enter my debit card details for transaction and swipe right to go ahead.
                                    After doing this amount of 60380 deducted directly from my account without giving details of final amount before making deduction.
                                    I would have not gone ahead if i would have got details of final amount which includes substantial amount of taxes and fee apart from charges for extra bed. Also policy says its non refundable with no breakfast which was not clear at time of start of booking.

                                      On 13th september, one of my friends told me to book a room at hayat regency for the next day (14th september) and mistakenly i booked that for 15th september due to the auto-fill date in the agoda booking system, it was supposed to be next day but it wasn't.

                                      Right after 10min, i cancelled it and re-booked that room for 14th september and my friend paid at the hotel but when i saw my statement the amount was deducted for 15th september to days.

                                      It will not happen if auto-fill option wasn't there, i need my money back. Please resolve my query otherwise i will post this in social platforms.

                                        As per recent announcements made by ms nirmala sithraman (Hon finance minister) regarding gst rate cut for hotels having room rate above rs 1000/- applicable from 1st oct 2019. This is also applicable for bookings done in advance before 1st oct 2019 having check in dates after 1st oct 2019.
                                        Agoda is denying the fact and clarifications is required from make mytrip regarding the gst refunds for my advance bookings done

                                          Good morning,
                                          I was travelling to coimbatore from 5th july until 7th july and i had booked a room in coimbatore via agoda at fab hotels, gandhipuram.

                                          We had a terrible experience : first of all, once we arrived at that place late in the afternoon, the receptionist says that there is no agoda room available (Despite agoda having confirmed the booking number with us) she said that the net booking number is not valid and demanded a ransom for the same room booked.

                                          Upon trying to contact agoda customer service, the so called 24/7 customer service number was switched off and i could not reach them at all and we were stranded without a room.

                                          This is my first time booking with agoda and this kind of customer service and wrong information has completely turned us all off. I will be writing to the higher authorities about this particular incident because this agoda booking cheated us and the room being denied unless they paid almost double the amount, taking advantage of the customer.
                                          I need an explanation and a proper action and follow up on this complaint else, you will be answering to a law suit.

                                            I had erroneously made a booking through agoda on the 24th of april, 2019 and as soon as i realized the same, immediately within a few hours on the same day, sent them a mail informing them about it. The booking was for maplewood resort, gangtok for the 2nd of may until 5th may, 2019.

                                            As mentioned on the portal of agoda, there should have been an unconditional refund, if cancelled within a certain time period and in my case it was not only cancelled within the prescribed timeframe for refund but was booked erroneously too.

                                            Several mails have been sent to agoda since the 24th of april, 2019 but they have been denying the refund and the reason being the hotel isn’t ready to refund. (The irony is that the above mentioned hotel in which my booking got confirmed doesn’t have any cancellation policy too, as such)

                                            Agoda is cheating and going back by their own policies they have put up on their portal. Feel cheated and disappointed with this attitude. I am planning a legal recourse on failure of refund from agoda. Not only the refund but the compensation for making me go through this harrowing time.

                                              I booked a room in dehradun hotel for 1 night in early august, and no money was to be charged until july 2nd. But, agoda charged my bank account $15us right away! Then i followed their online instructions to cancel the booking and received notice that it had been cancelled and i should see a credit in my bank account with 15-30 days, or even as long as the beginning of the next billing cycle. Well, that billing cycle has come (5/6) and there is still no credit for the $15 appearing. I called england yesterday, paying for the call myself, and agoda customer service agent said i would be issued a credit in 10-15 business days. But, the confirmation email from the agoda agent did not actually specify that the refund of $15 was going to transpire, and i was still receiving warning about cancelling my room 2 days prior to august 3rd, or must pay!

                                              i booked a hotel for kualumpur from agoda portal in feb.2016 & same day i cancel this booking but on 19/03/2016 agoda deduct the amount from my credit card. this is clearly fraud with indan people pl.help me.
                                              I booked a hotel in andheri east named ashoka deluxe apartments using the agoda app. But when we came at the hotel, they were saying that unmarried guests are not allowed. There is no such thing mentioned in the agoda website for the hotel. Now the customer care is not responding. Please help. My money has already got deducted
