    I m the the user of airtel postpaid sim. Every month i m paying my bill without default, last month also i have paid my bill through online, within rs.800 i was receiving my bill, but this time i got bill including one time charges, my bill amount is rs.560 but one time charges is rs.3245. I dint understand why i got such bill. Please take my complaints i m not going to pay one time charges, i m not able to pay this, please do the needful.

      Hi,

      I deactivated my Airtel mobile number [protected] on 23rd June, 2013 complaint number 51252394 however still getting billed for the same.

      I called customer care 121, 198 and nodal number however no one helped me, so poor customer service.

      Kindly look in this as I am getting billed for the serives I am not using.

        This refers to my request on airtel website and subsequent telecon with Meenakshi
        who in turn has advised to send mail to dishant jain at mail id of dishant.[protected]@airtel.in . The samewas done immeditely on 29 Nov10 however no confirmation/reply has been received for refund of the security deposit at my new address. The following was the request made for ready reference:
        I am presently holding a prepaid mobile connection [protected]. Earlie'r the same number was a post paid connection and as per the last satement generated on 21 Nov10, the amount
        payable is Rs -705.63 . This being the final statement wherein the security
        deposit has been adjusted against the previous balance of Rs 745.08.The amount
        of Rs 705.63 is reqired to be paid to by airtel.It is understood that the said
        amount will be paid through cheque and the sanme will be sent to my
        communication address. However, this process may take some time and it may be
        poosible that I may not recieve the amount as I have already shifted to a new
        location in Andhra Pradesh . The cheque of the payable amount is required to be sent at the following addrees:

        Airtel Postpaid — Cheating by giving false promises

        I Offered Promised by Airtel Dealer Named Neha ([protected]), Her Boss No [protected],Airtel-Airtel 30 p,Airtel-others-75p,STD-75p and 1 number free,and callExecutive Named Sachin ([protected]) came home to collect amount Rs.600 And promised SIM will be given within short duration But At last I collected SIM from gallery; But Scheme was different than what was promised as above.Customer care assured to be solved but no strong proof to be solved.I deactivated the SIM after 15 days.

        I am visiting long term in Bodhgaya, and I myself and at least three others I know purchased pre-pay calling cards with a promised rate to USA of 1.99 Rupies per minute and we were all charge over 7 rupies per minute.

        When speaking to the rep, he was not help, promised resolutions which never came. The same has happened with other long term visitors to Bodhgaya.

        Later when I went to pruchase a USB Modem, the Airtell Rep said Reliance would not work with my computer, a total lie, as I was already using my friend's. I have found nothen but lies, and deciet and little help when trying to resolve issues. The Police are very lttle help, and the local reps say they can not do anything.

        They are quick to take your money, and when signing up each of asked has anyone had any problems..we were each told no by the same rep..which is a lie for all o[censored]s were having ongoing problems, and we each signed up at different times.we happen to bump into one another at the shop.

        Who knows how many more people are being lied to and cheated out of their monies with no recurse to get it back?

        Most folks I know tell the friends to aviod Airtell and are using international phones they bring with them. all because of the lack of service and lies

        Wow that's a lot, but it is so true and heart breaking to see a lady think you just purchased 2 hours time to call home and family and bussiness to find she had 1/2 hour

        For me my work requires tele- cnferences and I ran out of time..the problems caused are often far reaching beyond the imediate dollars and cents of the cost of the pre paid card...there is the unexpected cut of important calls do to time being charged at 3 times the ordered rate.

        As well as the emotional duress of being lied to and feeling helpless to do anything, The worst is how little repsect we are shown, and we see they are just after our money, not help resolve any issues

        Airtel / Postpaid — poor network,no action

        i had complained about poor network in kadugodi before a month to airtel customer care, they said that issue will be resolved in a week, nothing happened after a week, so i called again, this time they gave the same excuse, saying that its forwarded to the technical department and will b sorted in a week, but absolutely no action even after a week, then i called again, this time escalated and spoke to a manager, whose name was poornima r, she said that it will definitely been resolved in a week as the technical team is working on it, but same old story, nobody bothered to come to the place or call me, and when the one week was up, i had to call again, luckiliy to poornima, the same manager, she said the technical team is still working on it, informed her that its almost a month and i cannot wait anymore, so she promised that will sort out the issue is 24 hours, so again i agreed, but same issue even after two days, when i called the customer care again, they had the same excuse to give saying that they will need one more week and the technical team is working on it, so the story continues, this is the worst experience that i have ever had with any cutomer care, i think airtel only trains their agents to give excuses to customers and cheat cutomers by making false promises, i am still waiting for a resolution, wile a lot of cutomers like me who reside in kadugodi and are using airtel are silently suffering thinking that the problem might be with their phone, i have confirmed that its actually with airtel, the phone works fine when we come out of that area, also its happening with different numbers and different phones, hope something is done about this

        Hi, Am using Airtel Post paid connection . Am getting a SMS daily from the no. '54321' which says 'Thanks for using Dada.net subscription from Airtel.You have been charged Rs.10 . Bollywood Pics Everyday- *321*555# '
        I have never opted for this service nor do i intend to. I have sent several messeages to stop this services, but without any result of stopping. I have been charged Rs. 10 everyday from past 6-7 months.On 28th Nov, i went to Airtel customer service off in Jayanagar 3rd block & complained regarding the same. A call was logged with a service request no. 29639139. i was told that this service will be stopped on 30th Nov at 3.00 PM. But even on 1st & 2nd dec i am still receiving this service from 54321 & am being charged Rs.10. Plz have this resolved asap else i will have to ask for cancellation of Airtel connection.

        airtel/postpaid — Short Security Deposit received

        Dear Sir,

        I was using Airtel Postpaid Services for last 4-5 years & i was diposit Rs.500/- as a Security Diposit (Refundable) at the time of Connection but some financial reasons i was unable to use post paid services So i had decide that I will convert my plan to prepaid and i have give application to Airtel Relationship centre on dtd.28.09.09 & submitted outstanding & unbilled Amount (Full & Final).But My Post paid Connection was converted in prepaid on dtd.18.11.2009 (after 1 month 20 days) & I had drops reminders to Airtel Customer care & Airtel Nodel Officers & Airtel Appeal between this duration & Airtel sent a Cheque of Rs.77.68 paisa only. I was shocked to see the cheque value. when i ask the reason from Airtel Appeal Officer she said that Outstanding & Unbilled Amount is a Consumer liablities & We cant help it.

        Please do the needful for me...

        I had lodged a complaint regarding poor network coverage , on 25 jul11, but surprisingly , so far i have not recieved any reply or reponse , not even an ack .

        Dear Mr Ranga, i must compliment you on letting me know that my complaint Dt 28 Jul 11, Has been resolved, it has come as a surprise to me . Your rep did come to our premises, to carry out the check, but unfortunatly, the problem still persists, you will agree that just by sending a rep, that too after almost 30 days, after lodging a complaint, the problem cannot be resolved . In case if somebody has given you a feedback, that the complaint has been resolved, has told you a Blatent LIE, & is trying to hoodwink his / her seniors, who i am sure do not want to move out of their AC offices, & find out the truth .
        My complaint, still stands, & the problem of poor coverage still persists . Please tell & train your people NOT TO DO FALSE REPORTING, & NOT TO TELL A LIE

          i had taken the airtel post paid connection in feb 2010
          in the second month as i saw may bill increasing very rapidlly so i complained in
          customer care about it, they told me that right now we are carging rs1 for every call and sms
          but at the end of the month the adjustment will be done. but at the end of the month my bill reaches
          to around 1400/- so i again complained that please bard this connection and see whats wrong in this
          bill.
          (i would like to mention that i never got the bill at my given address)
          then after two months airtel persons came to me and told to pay Rs 2068/-
          so i have the follwing complains against them
          1- in the starting the have taken 500/- and told me that it will be adjusted in ur bill now the are
          refusing this.
          2- i was the one went to them for the bill but they never bother to send me the bill so why i should give the late fee.
          3- they never tol me about the hiddin charges of internet usages. its mentioned in ther booklet that the charges are
          download- 30kb/1 paisa now they are telling that there are extra charges.
          4-at the time of taking the connection i went to them with the photo & id proof of my aunt
          and ask them that i will be using this connection then the told that ok you can use this connection now
          they are telling me that you have done fraud.
          5-the last one is very important in terms of security of this country.
          they even haven't done the address verification , after takin the connecton i got the phone call
          from airtel exective that sir if you got a call from our office then told them that a person from air tel had done the address verification.
          other wise your number will be bard.
          i think this is a big concern towards the securty of our country.
          i am a student perparing for the competitve exams but beacuse of their harresment i am very disturbed and at the end complaining to you.
          I am ready to give the modified amount but they demanding for full 2068/-

          Airtel Postpaid Connection — Getting Threat calls from Airtel

          Hello,

          I am getting threat calls from Airtel. They say that some Siddhartha had this number and there is pending bill against it. I have taken this number in corporate scheme. When I try to make them understand, they threaten me and are rude.

          Please suggest what to do?

          Airtel — Getting threat calls

          After registering DND complaint for about a year and being clearly informed that till the problem of DND and promotional calls is not going to be fixed ,I am going to stop the payment of my mobile no ([protected]). Got every time fake promises that from next month it will be done. Send this message to airtel, provide those message details and so on ....every time called and register a complaint...So every month duty started that when ever I should get any messages or any promotional call...I should call them and provide the details and then they will work on that .customer is ..sitting in conferring call.....sitting in meetings or what ever it is ....calls/message from here and there never stopped. Then after some time when three month payment was not done from my side, one senior person from airtel called and assured me that now onward you will be not getting disturbed for these DND services kindly make the payment ...next day I made the payment.Till approx 1 week no promotional calls and no messages... thought at last got rid of the issue ...Very next week again the same scenario started ....message message and message.......Again started registering complaint ....with airtel and same fake promise from airtel now it will be surely done.....every week and every month same senario.........

          Now when I not made the payment for Last 3 months and told them clearly that till the problem of DND will be not fixed I'm not going to make the payment ....first three months it was going like smooth way.but the DND never happened .....and very next month they disconnected my connection without informing me and started giving threat calls.......about the payment.

          When I told what about the things I have suffered because of disconnection.....and what are the option they have the answer I got was make the payment now and we promise you now you will not get any promotional calls or SMS and we will activate your no......or just drop this no but still make the payment....... Otherwise same threats

          So I clearly told that I am ready to make the payment but only on 1 promise that you will start/activate my no and will monitor for next month and if not getting any SMS or promotional message /calls will make the full payment.....But still they are not agreeing ......ad again started threats that ....no this cant be done you make the payment we will reduce 200 hundred rupees and stop using this no as already its blocked ....otherwise same threats....

          Then when asked by you making fake promises then....then no answer...again same words .Sir make payment otherwise we no how to take money....come to this court and all.......

          .......Kindly Suggest and take necessary action.........

            adjustment of one time charges

            Dear Sir,
            Airtel agents was provide atleast 20 sim to our various staff at the RPS SAVANA site (Faridabad) My no is- [protected], and he told about the plan that we have to pay 299/- (minimum)/ per months. but he doesnt confirm me for one time activation charges which is 453/-. if agent told about this activation charges at the time of connection, i refused to take the connection that time. airtel agents flirted with us.             I had been a Airtel customer for a period of more than two years and one time i found that my bill was high more than my expectation i had enquired on the bill and found there was a bill discrepancy on the bill it was.

            1) the first problem is i was on a yearly rental plan which should be renewd in the month of january 2009 but it was not renewd and without my notice it has got renewd in the month of April 2009 bill
            2) I was on a sms pack of Rs.45 which has gone deactive and each which should be charged at 0.5ps but it has been charged as Rs.1/- per sms
            when i found the problem i complained the action was delayed and it took a more than 1 and half month to give me the complete wavier for the disturbance and after i the yearly plan has got active my sms pack has gone deactive again by which i had been charged again for Rs.1/- per sms
            on may 25 i asked for the compensation of the bill till the problem is resolved i had called airtel more than 350 times in which airtel customer care department has responded to me for only 50 times roughly. i was assuming that i would get the wavier i had not paid the bill and after for not paying the bill my services were barred for more than 100 times in which my services were suspended also and finally the number is not functioning now and i am writing about the complaint through mail even then their response is not up to the mark and still it is misleading

              My self working for a reputed concern and my management got me a CUG Airtel Post paid connection. Initially I was asked to give a cheque for ECS, so, I have submitted my Axis Bank cheque for my monthly bill payment. instead of keeping so many account with different banks, I would like to keep one bank for all accounts. so, I request Airtel customer care executive Mr. Ragavendar and Mr Prasanth to send their person to collect my SBI Cheque for the ECS bill payment. I was answered very arrogantly by Mr. Prasanth, and Mr Ragavendar said he will speek to the agency/showroom people if possible else I have to go and meet show room people for my request. I had registered this complaint about two months ago. indeed there is no response from Airtel till this date. I have closed my account with Axis bank this month, so I called up Airtel Customer Care again, the person who picked up the call just disconnected while I speaking, When they can send their executive for a new connection why can't they send the person for the existing customer request. why the rules and regulation of Airtel is so odd. simply it gives trouble to their existing customer.

                I'm a postpaid customer of Airtel for last 7 years in Kolkata. My Mobile number is [protected].I'm paying my dues as per outstanding in bill without fail till date.Inspite of the same Airtel has blocked my outgoing calls since third week of July without any prior intimation. After calling them to their customer care, they informed me that I have not paid last month bill for June, which I have paid in cash in Airtel relationship centre. still as there is no answer from Airtel. I have approaced their Nodal officers but this is surprise to inform that every officer has their diff views, one says I have not paid the last month bill & some says there is wrong credit given to you in Jan 09 bill & the same is subsequently debited from your bill and have to pay the full amount. Sir, my question is that if any credit given to me by Airtel wrongly, that is fault of Airtel not of customer, Why a customer will suffer without any fault of him and maintining the said connection for last 7 years without any dues. I have repeatedly told the customer care to mail me the details of outstanding & if I am satisfied I will surely clear the dues but not a single mail recd till date. Moreover now I'm outside Kolkata for my treatment, to your surprise they have blocked my incoming calls also. Sir I'm keeping my connectrion for urgent need not for merry making but they are harrasing a bonafide customer without any fault of mine. For your information, as a gesture I have cleared the dues of July bill also before my departure from kolkata on 1.8.09. Now I earnestly request for your intervention for such unjustified action of Airtel. Thanks & regards debashis dutta

                Airtel Postpaid — disconection without information

                my mobile no [protected], which is transfered in my name recently from m.sreekanth, but my connection is disconected withought informing me reasons and causes, i have paid all my mobile bills and having no dues, and iam in 999 plan which is having period upto april 2009, i have not intimated any reasons so for, please kindly activate my conection which is taken at artelpostpaid showroom, anantaput, andrapradesh,
                i have contacted at airtel postpaid centre at anantapur town but they ae not responding, so kindly help me to activate my connection which iam having period upto april 2009,

                This is I.Kaliappan, i am one of the postpaid customer of AIRTELL and my mob no is [protected]. Mine is corporate connection. My subscription has been temporarily suspended for delaying the bill payment.
                Now i have cleared all the pendings and the dealer get a duplicate SIM for activating it again as the deactivated SIM cannot be reused once after the disconnection, so i got the duplicate SIM and i only possess both the sim but indeed the problem now is, neither my older sim nor the duplicate sim is activated yet but someone else is using the same number that i am possessing now.So kindly take action and help me recover my number.

                  IVR activation in english

                  Dear Customer Care Dept,

                  My Airtel no.[protected]


                  Have purchased new airtel connection in May and requested customer care department by dialling 121 to activate the IVR in english as the IVR in my no. is activated in Hindi which i could not understand.They had reverted by saying it it gets activated now.But the same is not done.

                  Again i went to Aitel Customer care office in Chakala branch-...

                  My Airtel# [protected] Post paid.

                  I have logged a compalint to get the reversal of Rs. 125 for value added charges wrongly charged me in the month of November 2008, December 2008 January 2009, February 2009 and March 2009 facing problem with Airtel for my Airltel # [protected]
                  I have logged complaint to give me discount of Rs.125 for value added charges was wrongly charged and Rs. 245 for wrongly charged the extra bill plan as I have already logged the companint to change the bill plan to Airtel 199 from Airtel 444 but not yet receive any update on this.
                  I have also logged a complaint to change my bill plan Airtel 199 from Airtel 444. I logged a complaint on 30th of March but not yet resolved.

                  125 plan — change of plan

                      Connection 1:
                      Airtel postpaid billing went wrong about STD continuously for three months and sent a consolidated bill around 5000 rs because I stopped paying bill from the month they started sending wrong bill (it may be around 2500 inr as per my original plan for all three months), this is in some time before September 2007

                      I have risen series of complaints through phone (customer care), internet (mailed to 121) waiting for their response, thinking that airtel would respond positively and support me in this case.

                      And I don’t see any resolution progress then I though I stop paying the bill which is almost double of my actual bill, airtel barred my services by October 2007 end.

                      Days passed, months passed

                      Airtel started tracking all my other postpaid connections(connection2 and 3) and barred those lines without any communication though those lines are fine and no issues about billing and no dues about payments too, customer care have given a reason that I’m still due on my connection1 (the above said connection) when I enquired, a weird approach.

                      Immediately after a month

                      Regarding connection 2 and 3, Airtel has sent notices from District Legal Services Authority to clear the bills, I’m forced to pay for the entire month though connections are closed by mid of the months, this is another issue (can not help myself)

                      And years passed, all sudden in 2009

                      This is on 17th march 2009, i have received a notice regarding connection1 from District Legal Services Authority stating that I have to pay the due amount 4, 703 inr (deducted my deposit amount 300 inr) before 24th of march or appear to the above said court with all original documents and put my hearing there to negotiate on the bill/payments which deals pre-legal litigations like this I guess

                      I know that I can appear to the above said court and put my negotiations with all my original documents and win

                      or

                      I know that I can file a case in ombudsmen court and fight for my money and win against Airtel for sure

                      Just because I can not make myself available to any of the above, I have paid the amount by requesting/discussing with their lawyer of District Legal Services Authority, who has given 30 percent discount (who does not know the issue or at least listens my issue )


                      I have paid 3293 after the discount; even though it is still 1000 inr around more than the actual bill.

                      One thing I can suggest india is to stay away from Airtel, who does not care/value a customer once after becoming a Airtel customer.

                        My Airtel postpaid connection which I took in month of January 2009, got deactivated in month of March on account of my change of address. I moved my initial address where I took the connection to a newer address in month of February. During Airtel's routine verification process when they found the change, they tried contacting me on my airtel number( as they claim) and they couldn't reach me, which to my information could have happened during weekends as I travel out of station. Since which they barred my outgoing calls without any further intimation(All this while I am not aware on what was happening from Airtel end of their verification process and etc). Initially I felt this could something related to billing...when I tried calling 121, it would not allow me, but it does allow to reach some department when you dial through your existing contact list in phone, some sort of rerouting the call to their department. These people informed me that they had barred my outgoing calls, while they were not able to tell me on why they couldn't communicate to me through alternate ways like SMS or email prior to barring my calls. On one of the calls to Airtel they took my new address but they never informed me on how this will get reactivated. Then suddenly today(18/Mar/09) they completely made my SIM inactive again without my permission or intimation. When I called back, I had a chance to talk to a Senior agent Jannardan Naveen who failed to give me any satisfactory reply on why they disconnected the service without any intimation to me, all the while maintaining that this is Airtel's process and they did try calling me initially wherein they failed to reach me. As expected this gentleman was rude and extremely frustrated, would occasionally point what was wrong with my approach when I asked on what he would be doing if he had been in my situation. Lastly he concluded of not able to help me in any manner nor he has records of people who collected my new address. A very pathetic service and overally a pathetic customer support team.                         Airtel — about deactiveted my outgoing calls

                        Sir/Mam, vimal verma this side n my mobile number is [protected]. how can u do this how u cut the my outgoing calls.I hv already paid the minimum amt as u want but afterthat u cut my service.how can it possible. plz make sure during one day u hv to activate my outgoing services.if don't take seriously then i hv to take ligal action against u.

                        Hi this is Arun.My airtel sim is been deactivated by a tech who wants to talk to the person who bought the sim card.When the time he calls that person was not at home, when he return home his sim was blocked.he tried to call Customer service, there is no proper responce.and that tech while on the phone spoked very roud and he disconnected the call before explaining the issue.A ***king Customer Support and their process.They cannot understand their pluse of their customers.I was with airtel for the past 4 yrs and iam fedup.they thought the only work for me is to answer their calls..Pathetic Service very disappointed.And i would recommended not to get any connection from airtel from now on. thanks you so much. My cell no is [protected].which is of no use were its barred both outgoing and incoming !!

                        Airtel — Barring of calls without any prior intimation

                        This with reference to the above mentioned subject, my cell phone number [protected] and the service provider being Airtel. The SIM card was purchased a few months back and I have been using the same without any problem. In between the calls were barred and I got it rectified and the number was activated two days before. Since yeasterday morning it has been barred again. When I approached the airtel outlet we were told that the sim has been de-activated as there was non response with regard to verification.

                            My complaint is that someone is sending me threatening logo as well as picture messages from your server on my number and I am unable to find the particular person.

                            Kindly provide me the details of these particular number otherwise I have to take some LEGAL ACTION against your company and I don’t want to destroy such a good relation with Airtel. and I am not demanding any illegal information from you I am just demanding my incoming statement of particular messages mentioned above.

                              SIR, I HAVE BEEN USING AIRTEL POSTPAID CONNECTION FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS.LAST YEAR I WAS OFFERED ADD-ON CONNECTION BY AIRTEL.BUT AFTER ONE MONTH I FOUND THAT TERMS AND CODITIONS WERE DIFFERENT FROM THE ONES TOLD TO ME BY THE DEALER, SO I REQUESTED THEM TO DO THE NEEDFUL.
                              BUT TILL NOW I HAVE TO CONTACT AIRTEL EVERYMONTH FOR THE REVERSAL OF ADD-ON CHARGES.THIS MONTH AGAIN CHARGES HAVE BEEN LEVIED AND NOT WAIVED TILL NOW DESPITE 30 REMINDERS.

                                we have costemer of airtel/postpaid last four years.in last five monts so meny call drops due to network problum.
                                i have given complaint to costemer care in this regared so meny time's.
                                the costemer care excutive given a complint numbur and said our network department excutive call in this regard to you .
                                after some time i check the status of comlplaint in airtel web the status is closed displyed.without any call from network department of airtel.

                                airtel/postpaid — Statement generated even after account closing

                                I have closed my airtel postpaid account on 24.01.08 due to poor services & payed my due amount on the same day. But bills were being generated continuosly even after account closing. (i received bill for february 08 also).
