I would like to register a complaint against AMC cookware. There are many issues with the product and they are as follows-

Product related-
a) Nothing they promised cooks in these pots. During the demo they cooked chicken and some vegetables. But after my mother bought it, nothing seems to cook in it. The pulses stay uncooked for 30 mins when they have promised 7-8 mins. Even in our normal pressure...

I have purchased this AMC Cookware buy paying the full cost, and the promises that were made were big. The AMC Cookware will not rust as it is made from some medical steel. It started rusting from the second month that i purchased it. Not only the rusting part of it but they also told me that it potatoes will not get burnt in it, we have been following the same process that was told to follow and we see the AMC cookware does not burn food, this is not correct.

I also called the call center but they tell me that i should apply lime when i wash the vessel; all crap it is not worth it paying so much for a useless product. DO NOT BUY AMC Cookware.

I have purchased amc cookware in aug 2011 and paid the amt Rs.35000/ they said with this package
i will be given the pudding set as "gift" but till now there is no response and not taking any steps to giving
me demonstration as far as the cooking is concerned.Before buying it they said that a team will come to my house and explain everything about cooking in the vessels.so i request the persons who are willing to buy this cookware to think and buy and don;t waste ur money.

With referene to the above Invoice we have purchased AMC Classic Set – SL Type CW for Rs.44200/- in November 2010, I have signed in your HP contract for the period of 12 months and issued 13 cheques in your company name as follows :

2. Dec..2010 – Chq.No.125204 for Rs.3374/-
3. Jan.2011 - Chq.No.125203 for Rs.3374/- (Cheq bounced & paid by cash)
4. Feb.2011 - Chq.No.125205 for Rs.3374/-
5. Mar.2011 - Chq.No.125206 for Rs.3374/-
6. Apr.2011 - Chq.No.125207 for Rs.3374/- (Stop payment instruction given to Bank)
7. May.2011 - Chq.No.125208 for Rs.3374/- (Stop payment instruction given to Bank)
8. June.2011 - Chq.No.125209 for Rs.3374/- (Stop payment instruction given to Bank)
9. Jul.2011 - Chq.No.125210 for Rs.3374/- (Stop payment instruction given to Bank)
10. Aug.2011 - Chq.No.125211 for Rs.3374/- (Stop payment instruction given to Bank)

Since we are not satisfied with your product, we decided to return back the set and we have given stop payment for balance cheques to bank and also informed to your customer care unit Mr.Karthik reg. this.
Even then your company has deposited my april & may cheque and it was dishonoured. Once the customer informed about the dissatisfaction and Cheque stop payment, you should not present the cheques, but you have presented. This is not good service.
On 15.05.2011 Mr.Karthik (AMC Cookware, Customer care) came to our house and he taken back the following items:
1. 20 High
2. Grater
3. Combi Bowl
4. Suck knob
5. Skillet
6. Cooking Book
7. Softeria
8. Adopter

After this we have received a letter from you regarding the dishonor of Cheque, we have already surrendered our vessels to Mr.Karthik, Customer Care-Chennai and we have already informed to your Chennai office about the stop payment of cheques & dissatisfaction of your products.

Kindly send us the exact bill for the items left with us, the termination of HP contract & Unused cheques at the earliest


Kindly do the needful immediately.

Dear All ,

Please note that I am sending you the proof that Mr Thomas on behalf of AMC has cheated us -because he has planed and knowingly taken money from us that he made my wife member of AMC on 11.02.09 and sold AMC cookware to me, on 11.02.09 which is not correct and They come first time to my house on 11.02.09 taken all cheques and all,whereas this was our second time to know about this kind of new cookware system (first was in a exibition) and within 7day's we have cancel the order even writen to your office as well ,the same mail I have copied below for your referance and after that as per the company policy we have personally informed him that we don't want cookware and membership and written also to your head office before the stipulated time frame, but we have not received any communication from company. And then and in the month of June after calling to Janakpuri Office -Mr Ajay said we are sending MR Rajkumar pls give back the Cookware and we will return the money and we confirmed with Mr Raj Kumar aslo he said 100% your money will we refunded by company. So i would like to request you to refund my full amount ASAP. or give me your response in this case.
