This is regarding faulty meter compliant for Autorickshaw bearing registration number
KA05 AH 0714. (Photo attached)
I took auto from Jayanagar 4th block signal (near Post office) to Padmanabhanagar (Spandana Aquarium)
It's a usual route I took which is around 4.5 kms, however, meter displayed 6.5kms for the same
route/distance and charged excess fare. I informed the auto driver about meter being faulty,
instead of responding, he shouted at me.

I request concerned authorities to take necessary action to avoid further loss to public on these excess fares.

I get in to Auto from Koramangala Wipro signal. I traveled till Iblur police Station.
Normaly it cost me 70 from Wipro signal to Priteck park Outer ring road, Bangalore. This cost me Rs - 60 just to Iblur police station.

I said this meter is wrong , then the driver asked me to get down here. I gave 50 rs and he was even ready to accept it even the meter shows 60 rs. It clearly shows the meter is wrong.

The same happened to me when I traveled in another auto from St.Johns petrol pumb to Koramangala Wipro signal.

Please check the meters in auto if there is any scod for checking it. If possible please travel in some auto like a layman and check the meter charge. Another thing I have seen is still Autos are using have old meter .

Please take necessary actions as soon as possible.
