      My Avis Hitek Sleek Cooler is not working, the motor takes 5-10 minutes to pick up start after switching on, sometimes it doesn't pickup at all. Pump motor isn't working either

        I bought this Air Cooler on the special recommendation of the shop owner about its features and high quality in this summer. I was pitching on some other brand as I had never heard of Avis, but the shop owner insisted on this saying that it is exported to Middle East and blah-blah...
        Eventually, I bought this cooler by paying an amount of Rs. 8700. When I started operating it, it gave warm air inspite the tank was full...         Avis Hitek customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
        We bought a cooler of your company last year but it's water pump is not working for cooling sides, water is not reaching cooling sides so as sharp as solved it's because of this season is over hot so without cooler seem one day is very long

          I have avis hitek cooler within warranty period, bought from Bharat electrico Kamla nagar Delhi. It's blower is broken and making lot of noise. I have registered complaint twice on avis hitek customer care number i.e. [protected] on 25 may and 1st june with ref no. 497/ 597. I have also sent email complaint to [protected]@avishitek.com twice. I also lodged a complaint with the seller i.e. Bharat electrico kamla nagar. Inspite of all this nobody has turned up to fix the problem. Because this cooler is faulty I had to buy another cooler costing Rs 4500 and I had to face a lot of mental trauma due to this. Kindly help.. I have bills and warranty card with me.

            Totally Wastage ... money and comfort. dealer put some ICE in box and show us false cooling results. they cheat people. i feel only desert cooler is they way for Tem. like Delhi and Eastern India. rest helpless .. so please dont ever try to think abt AVIS Hitek.. iam too suffring coz already i have spend near abt 7500/- and now no more budget for this summer. it would hv been batter to get a Microwave thn AVIS. cooler.. demmm..               I purchased Avis Hi-Tech room cooler with Remote control last month.
              Last couple of days remote is not functionining. I am trying to call customer care no

              We need some help for same, authorities should warn these companies so that they can act on customer issues.

              Dear viewers,

              I bought Avis Gold Cooler on 20/5/2011 from fair deal, Pitampura. After 1 hour the blower of the cooler stopped working.The cooler only worked for an hour only. Next day I called the dealer & he recommended me these customer care nos.[protected], [protected] which are no responding, then i called [protected] & complained. My complaint no. is 1740. They told me that they will fix the cooler but no action was taken. I e-mailed the company but still they showed no response.
              So finally on 28/5/2011 at 6:00 pm I went to the dealer & returned the cooler .
              I got frustrated because it was for my mother who is ill.
              Please never ever purchase any item of avis company in your life

                I had purchased AVIS HITEK room cooler from Fair Deal, a dealer in Kirti Nagar, main road market on 19.4.09 for an amount of Rs.7800/- as the look of cooler was very nice.

                During this season i.e.on 8.4.10, we switch on the cooler, first time in this season. On the night of 9.4.10, we found that lot of smell was coming from cooler and we switch odff the same. Next day we were trying to contact the customer care no.65070405 whole day (about 100 times) but every time it comes 'line is busy please ring after some time'.The same thing happens for 2-3 days. We also contacted the 'Just Dial' and we get the other no. i.e. mobile no.[protected] and tried to contact them but with the same story 'the no. is busy'. We contacted the dealer the lodge our complaint to him on 14.4.10, who was kind enough to lodge our complaint to the company. Same day evening the technician attended the complaint and informed the lady available at home that the 'MOTOR' is out of order and the cooler is not in warantee now. He did not even ask for the warantee card from the lady and thereafter get the signatue on the slip. When we reached home from office we came to know the status, it was SHOCKED TO NOTICE that COMPANY OF SUCH REPUTE was telling this cooler is not in warantee though warantee expiring on 19.4.10. AGAIN after lot of persuation on 15& 16.4.10, we lodged the complaint on customer care mobile no. vide Complaint no.K-17. On 17th April at 7.45 pm, after lot of telephones on 17th, technician came and opening the cooler for checking and we informed him that motor is out of order and other technician who came on 14.4.10 informed. He then bring his repaired motor from his bike and replaced the motor within 15 minutes as he was in a hurry and he also informed us he was supposed to come on next day as he was going to be late and he got an alert from his office to attend the complaint today itself. He also informed that motor will give some noise for two/three days and it went off thereafter. On the night of 18th April itself the same problem occured as earlier, there were lot of smoke in our house in the midnight when we were sleeping my younger son noticed the smell and came to know that there was no light at home probably due to short circut and main switch got tripped because of this . From the 19th April onward we were trying to contact the customer care nos. as there was no other contact no.even address was not printed on the brochure also, We contacted on 23rd April at 11.30 AM and informed them about the story and requested for the replacement of motor, they categorically refused that the cooler is not in warantee, our motor cannot be replaced and you have to bear the expenditure.

                We subsequently informed that the motor replaced on 17th April got damaged within a day or two and moreover your telephones were busy and we could not contact you on 19th April, 2010, the day of ending of warantee.

                We request the appropriate authority o kindly lodge the complaint against this Company and black list their product as there was no infrastructure facility for attending the customers like proper telephone nos. so that people should be aware of their product not to buy their product. This I have noticed on the internet also that lot of consumers lodged the complaint about this product. This is RIDICULOUS.

                i suppose no authority will take action in this regard but u may approach to consumer court and asked for compensation as well as heavy penalty for the consumer welfare to be deposited in consumer welfare fund only...

                No doubt after sales service of this company is really "RIDICULOUS" it seems that customer service is in compete wrong hands. This will definately spoil the reputation of the company.

                  Purchased AVIS Coolers on 10.04.2010 from M/s Islamuddin & Sons, 445 Shahzada Bagh Extn, Inderlok, Delhi 110035. Cooler is giving trouble from the first day. Contacted their help number[protected] for the last three days but still not able to talk. The number is always busy. I have Contacted dealer and he give me two cell nos. [protected]/[protected] but they are also not reachable.

                    Eventually, I bought this cooler by paying an amount of Rs. 7700. When I started operating it, it gave warm air inspite the tank was full... I thought that this is due to high temperature outside...In few days, water started leaking from the coooler. I complained at the helpline no. given by the merchant. It was the same no. as of merchant's...He send a mechanic after requesting thrice...the mechanic did something, althought the problem persisted. In a few days problem aggravated and in the night, all water leaked from the tank and filled my drawing room. I again requested the merchant. He said that the tank connected to pipe was defective and it is out of stock..as soon it will come, it will be replaced.
                    Now it's more than a month complaining to the merchant. I requested to replace the cooler also, but he usually disconnects the phone as he hears my name. Since I have shifted my residence recently from Noida to Indirapuram, it's almost impossible for me to rush to the shop daily. I have till date spend much amount and energy calling to the merchant. Secondly and more importantly, cooler was bought for getting comfort in this hot summer, but none of the day have I got any comfort, rather it has harassed me physically and mentally.

                    Obviously, economic damage and physical damages are there. All the members in my family are suffering from severe sun burn and itches just because we invested in this cooler and could not use it. We were bound to live in scortching heat and humidity just because we had no option, once investing huge amount in this cooler. Secondly, the phone calls that we have made to the merchant after bying the cooler are no less than hundreds... usually my mobile bill comes around 1100 p.m., it has touched 2000 last month...

                    And the mental harassment is such that a permanent tension is created in my house due to scortching heat and humidity...and the cooler is lying at one corner of my house still waiting for someone to come from the merchant's side...we have not switched it on since last three weeks scared of the water leakage and warm air...

                    i have purchased the Avis Hitek Sleek 5 in 1 in month of May 2011.
                    and from starting swing blades are not worked and water pump is also not working from last 20 days.
                    please send your executive to attend the problem ASAP. because the atmosphere is very hot. so take it seriously. costumer care no. is not responding.

                    I had purchased cooler (Ripple) of Avis make in May 2013. The motor driving the blower has become non functional. It is very astonishing that a motor of a product of this price has failed within 2 years. However, the service center was approached and as I have already communicated about the motor replacement, they brought the motor with them. The cost of motor was told as Rs.2250 apart from service charges of Rs.350.
                    I thought of going for replacement, but, the motor did not have any rating tag and other details, It was neither in sealed cover. On inquiry, the service center official told that this is the only thing, we can do and the item is original. It is very difficult to make that opinion after seeing the product and there were no papers to prove that either. Further, the motor was brought loose and not in sealed cover.
                    I purchased this product for the first time and regret purchasing it now. On searching internet, I fund the same experience of all the purchasers.
                    While trying to submit the complaint online, the website of Avis did not support and the email sent to [protected]@avishitek.com bounced back.
                    I request everyone to avoid purchasing any product of this company.
