I have brought shoe from Bata show room Baramati. District Pune.

Shoe got completely damaged all side with in 6 to 7 months.

This is your defective product and bad quality checks during manufacturing process.

Kindly check and solve issue ASAP.

    I am regular customer of bata footwear since 2005. Recently had a very bad experience with bata showroom of neeladiri road electronic city on buying the product 551-9831 on 5th may 2018. The sales guy was not ready to pack the footwear saying the box got disposed. He told to buy the cover for 3 rupees if you want. I didnt mind paying 3 more ripped to 899 of the actual price of the footwear however feeling frustrated with his attitude i didn't. I feel like the reputed shop like bata should provide a good packing for each product. Kindly include the packing price of 3 or more in the tav price so that the customer never feel bad on the arrogance of the sales person when questions on the packing. I carried new footwear in hand and walked way. I will not stop buying bata products as am very much satisfied with the product but has a request to take some initiative to provide good packing and keep customer happy.

      dear sir/mam
      i had purchased a shoe from BATA SHOE STORE , ARORA PRIME TOWER , OPP BUS STAND , G.T. ROAD PHAGWARA on date[protected] bill no 03693 and article code no .[protected] cruze with price 1299
      I had read the instructions below and overleaf in which you had mentioned that the complaint and exchange can be done from that showroom from which you had purchased . the shoe is broken from the toe and it is submitted with the shop keeper
      I would be very thankful to you i[censored] could resolve the matter as early as possible
      i had posted many mails on customer.[protected]@bata.co.in but there is no reply from that side please help

      shoes — Broken shoes

      The shoes worth Rs 4600 was bought on 17th March from exclusinve showroon at Bithan market at Bhopal. The very next day it brok. Now the shop keeper is not taking the shoes back and saying for an exchnage. I do not want to waite for another month as I am leaving India on Ist of May.

      Bata — Shoes broken

      Hello Sir,

      I have purchased a pair of shoes on 06/12/2010. Shoes are very good and comfortable. But within 50 to 55 days shoes are broken from down side and stiches are removed. Please can you resolve this problem as soon as possible so that the faith in BATA remains same.

        I have purcahsed a pair of power shoes (Size 7) frm bata.in on 12th Nov. with promising delivery within 5-7 days. but on 18th Nov. they update the status as invoice generated and then on 22 nov, they shipped it. i received the packest on 26th Nov. i.e. after 14 days.. on opening the box I felt shocked that instead of 7size, the shoes were of 6 size. A foolish mistake by such a big footwear company. I make a complaint on 27th Nov regarding this (complaint number:[protected] and i was told to get response within 48 hrs but when i did not get any calll from bata then i again called to custmoer care (kasht se maro) it was again shocking that they told me to w8 for 7 more days to just get a reply and not the solution. I am very disappiointed from this. it was my biggest mistake in life in online shopping. other online shoe stores are far far better than Bata.

        Shame on Bata. guys please do not buy anything from Bata. let us dicard the bata together.

          Dear sir , as subjected above i have purchesed bata shoe from your local dealer - BATA INDIA LTD , 29 NAI SARAK , JODHPUR. on dated 9 nov.2011 . Bill no.-09/11/11/1/0013 . Article no. - 881-446 . Size - 6 . Amount - Rs.1399.But after wearing it one time it's colour varries in light & dark . It is not even comfortable in wearing . So kindly solve my problem by either changing the shoe or give me money return. Thanking you with expecting your reply as early as possible.

            I had purchased a shoe (code[protected] from Bata show room at Sector 17 Navi Mumbai on 16.10.2010 and within few weeks the front of the toe got 'torn' in both the shoes. (Pictures attached). I could not go and complain to the showroom since I was away for 2 months travelling on official assignment. Since the shoe was not uasable, I kept it aside.

            On 15th Jan 2011, I went to the Bata show room and met Mr Santosh, the incharge but he expressed his helplessness in helping me since 75 days period was over. I explained to him that one can make out from the condition of shoes that it has not been used much but he was just not able to help. He agreed that the shoe has to be rplaced only and cannot be repaired. I then took the DM Mr Shafiq's number and spoke to him. He also advised that I write to customer care or accept a 50 or 60% as settlement. Surprisingly, the show room does not have any complaint book even. Showroom should be the place where customer gets in touch with you for purchase and should be the point of redresssal also.

            I then was forced to email to customer care at Gurgaon, who did not even acknowledge my complaint for the first few days and then finally wrote back to me on 28th Jan 2011 that since the shoe was bought MORE THAN 4 MONTHS back, it cannot be replaced. Point to note is that when I complained to them it was just 3 months from the time of purchase, whereas the central customer care mentions it as more than 4 months. (Finding some or the other excuse to escape!)

            From the pictures uploaded, it can be very clearly made out that the problem is related to manufacturing defect and the company should not look at the time period but the type of defect. Instead they decided to overlook all of that and stuck to their stand. I have been trying to get Bata’s attention for the last 2 months after their last reply but they are not even acknowledging the emails.

            I am publishing this on all the grievances portals as well as appealing at Navi Mumbai consumer forum to bring the matter to public about the attitude, behaviour and customer unfriendly approach by Bata Company.

              Dear sir ,
              This is in reference to my legal notice dated[protected] i which i have requested you to replace my shoes purchased on[protected] for Rs 1399/- from your showroom at Bata chowk faridabad,
              That within a week the above mentioned shoes wracked as the stiching of the shoes damaged due to poor manufacturing by the company which was duly recognised by your officials on 10-11-10 and on 11-11-10 , the day whe n i visited the showroom to replace my shoes , but to my surprise they misbehaved and talked very rudly with me .
              That again on[protected] ie today when i again visited the BATA INDIA i showroom at bata chowk faridabad, to solve the matter as my day to day work is hampering due to the shoes and there is a loss to my reputation also,but again they said to mail at customer care as they have no power to replace the shoes.
              As such please have a look on my legal notice dated 17-12-10 and treat my this mail as my final notice of one week to replace my shoes and pay the damages to me , otherwise i am going file to a consumer case against you on the entire cost and risk of yours.
              I am also enclosing the photo of damaged stitching of shoes that occurred due your negligence in manufacturing of the shoes and i am also attaching the copy of my previous notice dated 17-12-10

                Poor product which makes squeaking noise

                Hi,

                I am facing another problem with Bata, I bought a pair of lifestyle shoes from them. The problem is that the shoe material is such that it makes squeaking noise while walking. Its very embarrassing and irritating when I wear it to office. As this is the fault with the shoe design, the shoe should be replaced.                 I had purchased Bata all seasone shoes of rs. 1200/- from DADAR TT ( east )showroom on 08/06/2008 and on 4th day the innner sole got damaged . I complained about it to the Mr. Mani the shopkeeper but he refused to exachange it. He repaired it and I got the same after 4 days after huge follow up.
                Still the problem is same and the innersole is not in position . What should I do . The problem is major and inspite of complaining about the problem within 10 days the shopkeeper is not giveing the replacement. pls. foward the problem to concern department and let me know .

                BATA shoe — Unusable within 6 months

                I have Purchaed a Bata new model Shoe, before 6 months and it became unusalble. I have purchaed it form Manjeri, Malappuram - Kerala. When i bought the shoe, shope executive informed that, the shoe is made by leather and later I know that, it is PU.
                Do the needful

                sir i bought one bata shoe in bata shoe store in trichy , thillainagar . i search that shoe model in official bata website i did not find that model and i searched using the artical no of the shoe given in the bill ... even though i cant find that model . i dont know what to do
                I also bought a Bata shoe from Brigade road bangalore on april 1st week and with in 2 months it became worthless for me, the price is 1299
