In the freezer to much water leakage.

My double door fridge stopped cooling one month ago. there is no company rep/dealer/ser centre at gauhati to help. i called private mechanics twice and they replaced some defective part and charged around rs. 2000. now the fridge is cooling without any stop and i am forced to switch it off twice a day to avoid over cooling and liquids getting frozen. what help can i get from the company here at gauhati...

Sir, I had a given complaint to BPL-service agent in my city(Visakhapatnam-Andhrapradesh)pH.no[protected] regarfing above mentioned problem, though 20 days passed and I do not know how long they will take t visit, beside I had phoned 7-8 times but no response.

Against my query in Google, Justdial suggested some Service Centre names for repair of my fridge. While I was trying to get Pooja Electronics, who had done service a year back, a company called A Cool Home, 29A Bajanai Kovil Street, Choolamedu, Chennai 94 (Mob.[protected] was repeatedly calling me and quoted a lesser rate for the repair/service. On 21.10.11 evening their Mr Kannan came and in few minutes replaced D-Timer and Bimetal and said the work is done and collected Rs.1500 against his bill no. 549 dated 21.10.11. He also told me that thee is one year warranty for the part. The fridge did not work for even one day. In the meantime he had gone out of station and deputed his colleagues on few occasions. In fact they were young and inexperienced people, as I could guage. Even today the problem persists. Either my calls are not attended by Mr Kannan or the person deputed by him in his absence, Mr Anandan ([protected]) and Kannan keeps telling that they had come to my place on three occasions. I have not paid for the visits but for the repair. Either he has not identified the problem or he has not replaced parts which are good and working. Justdial also has a responsibility to ensure that the people they recommend are genuine and knowledgeable. Either I should have my fridge rectified with the warranty offered or the money refunded. If he wants, he can take back the parts replaced. I will get the work done through somone else. With both o[censored]s working, we are totally handicapped and lot of vegetables, milk, food etc. are getting spoled. Even yesterday I have spoken to Mr Kannan thrice and he promised to come or depute Anandan. But this did not happen. He also mentioned to me that they have now come to know of the problem and will attend to it. Please help.

I made a complaint on 24/01/2011 to M/s Master Electronics Hyderabad ph[protected]/[protected] that lower portion of my two door refrigerator which is not in warranty period is not keeping cool and where is the upper portion ie freezer is maintaining coolness. However ice is being formed in the freezer though the refrigerator is frost free. The Service Engineer Mr TN.Rao visited my house on the night of 26/01/2011 and told me that fan motor was to be changed. He replaced the fan motor with available item from his brief case. He did not open from a sealed packet/box. I felt that it was not a new one. When I questioned he told that spare parts are being supplied loose and not in sealed boxes. The refrigerator is functioning normally since then till 6th Feb 2011. Again ice is being formed in the freezer. The bad smell is being emanated from the lower portion.I spoke to Master Electronics and explained the position. He told that he would send the engineer the same day or next day. Till today the engineer did not come.

We have double door BPL refrigerator, in which defreezer zoan is only working,
fridge is not at all getting cool.
