For redhills to ayanavaram we booked a auto by Ola app.Auto no : TN12AY2608 name : INBASEKAR, Ph no : [protected] .We tried to call him by call, He spoke very badly and impolite then hang up the call.also I recorded that call.then he came to pickup us.we asked him that why he spoke like that suddenly he raised his voice and came like fight with us.then he dropped us in front of the road, and turn off his auto.we requested him to drop our location but he refused it and spoke very bad words.this is very offencive.he said do whatever you want.pls take immediate action.is this the way he treat a women

My dad who is 74years of age travelled for 3 kms to and fro with waiting time of 45mins.the auto driver by name Nagaraj carrying phone number [protected] charged 400rs. for this trip.Here in Vadakupattu main road most of the auto drivers of all genders charge exorbitant.As we are in need of auto they are misusing or taking advantage, as we depend on Auto for our rides. This makes everyone here troublesome.Please do the needful.

We booked an auto from express avenue till gajendra circle inside iit madras for 230/-..an auto guy approached us and offered to drop us for 400...upon bargain...he agreed for 250...after a while he asked us 300...we stated that we agreed for 250 and he said ok and we paid it at the petrol bunk...it is 11pm midnight and once we reached iit main gate...he stopped there and asked us to get down..upon asking him that he agreed to drop us till gajendra circle and it's late already...buses won't 1 available...he started changing his words and started abusing us in tamil and shouting...we asked him why he asked us to cancel Ola ride and why he offered to drop us at GC...now we are left out at main gate..with no source to reach hostel...please take some action on these auto drivers who accept to drop us and once we get into...they change their words easily...since we don't know tamil..it is getting difficult for us to argue or demand later on...auto number: TN10 AA 9471

In govt estate omandurar metro station an auto no TN05 BV 7282 the driver was very rude and asking too much fare even for a differently abled person. Speaking badly about the disability. Not wearing kaki shirt also. Wearing some t shirt and driving auto. Pls take some necessary action.

I am serving as a Police Officer/ACP in Mumbai/Maharashtra. We have came to Chennai for urgent surgery of my Nephew at Apollo Hospital, Chennai. On 04.05.2023 at around 1135 hrs, after doing procedures as Apollo Hospital, Thousands Light, Chennai, we came out to proceed towards Apollo Sprectra and asked an Auto Men (Regn No. TN-07-AP-7673) parked outside gate of Apollo Hospital for drop to Apollo Spectra Hospital and asked fare. He told Rs. 50/- and asked us to seat. After seating in Rickshaw, he asked about the adress to another Automen and informed us he will charge RS. 200/- instead of Rs. 50/- and started turning the Auto. We denied for same and try to get down from auto but he started Auto and in one hand hold hand of my 11 yrs old nephew and started threatening us to travel in his auto only and pay Rs. 200/- if you wnat to get down and didn't stop the auto. As we didn't know Tamil language we requested him to stop in English/Hindi but he didn't stop. My Nephew as well as we were quite scared of this incident. Hence, we silently travelled from his Auto and paid Rs. 200/- to him after travelling maximun 3.5 KMs of distance from Apollo Main to Apollo Spectra Hospital.

Same sort of incidents happen to us aftewards also when we travelled from another hospital/locations. The Auto mens ask us to seat in Auto agreeing fare of RS. 50/- but after reaching they demanded RS. 70/- forcibly. But these incidents were normal than above one.

Is it really easy to roam around Chennai scareless in such arrogant and arbitrary attitude of such Auto Men towards outsiders..

Today I encountered obnoxious behaviour by auto driver in near Urapakkam railway station. He was driving rash and when I questioned him, he was abusing me. I informed him that I will complaint but he continued to abuse RTO as well. I think he is drunk by way he is speaking. I called [protected] to register the complaint but it was only IVR. Does anyone know if they will take action.

My wife and daughter hired an auto ( vehicle number TN 85 H 8410) from forum Vijaya Mall Vadapalani to Kodambakkam today evening at 5 pm 1st April 2020. From the time of entering the vehicle the driver started to drive dangerously and blabbering something. Despite suggesting to drive slowly and carefully, He purposefully rode even faster. Now it was almost confirmed he was drunk. At one point of time my 6 year old daughter started to feel scary and started crying due to reckless driving. My wife had enough of his nuisance and told him to stop the vehicle. But he did not even stop the vehicle. At this moment my wife told I'm going to complain to the police but still he didn't care. After fighting with him for more than 10 minutes he finally stopped the vehicle near the drop point. My wife and daughter immediately got down and took the photo of the back oh the vehicle. Kindly take necessary action at the earliest before some one else becomes victim of that driver's reckless nature.

Vehicle Number : TN 05 AX 6941 i hired this auto through OLA to travel from Virgbakkam chennai to nearby Hospital.

The Auto condition was bad and was so unsafe to travel where seats are broken and no FC was done. The driver details was also not updated in his rear seat. The driver was impolite and rude . When i asked why seats are proper he daring responded i need to repair his seat incase if i need to travel in his auto.
Driver attitude towards men's itsel[censored]nsafe and its big alarm for woman passengers in chennai. He used abusive languages that no action can be taken by Police or anyone else. Such unsafe vehicles are going to be life surivillenace issue for future passengers

I have catch auto from neelamangalam to guduvancheri railway station which is lesser than 4 km ...and they ask me 250 rs for dropping..I accept it and came ..but end of the they ask me 250 + 50 rs luggage...I shocked and ask him why I should pay extra for my my travel bag...but they behaved rude vulgar and some more auto stand person also came together to fight with me..they finally cheats and take money... The auto stand in guduvancheri railway station is ropers ...

Me and my friends hired an auto from redhills down auto stand to interior of vilangaadupaakam . Normal travelling cost is 30/- for each. As we are three members(girls).first he asked us for 150/-.. we refused ..and asked him to reduce as 100/-...he accepted to give 100/- . So we get in the auto...Later, in middle of travel he harshly told us to give 150/- we refused and he asked us to get down.. and asked to give 120/- as we continuously refused to give 20 rupees extra.. he started to shout upon us.. as the area has no people's are around. He get down from the auto . And started to shout in a rogue way.We couldn't do anything...

Boarded this auto with my dad who's a senior citizen. He politely asked him to drive slowly since he covered all the potholes on the road making it super uncomfortable to sit. He responded very rudely and asked us to get down in the middle of nowhere. Carrying some expensive jewelry late in the night (we were travelling from the airport) it was nothing less than harassment.
The date of the incident is 10th Sep 2021. The ride was taken at Nehru Park Metro Station.

An Auto Driver today evening, me, my sister and 7 month baby from moolakadai to Redhills took 50 Rs per person for a in share auto. Usually the autos in the route asks for 25 rs, But he has taken 100 Rs, The auto driver was drunk and drive and so arrogant with disgusting attitude and using abusing words... I paid the money and was helpless. Later he told me to do complain where ever you want, nothing happens in Chennai it seems and went laughing with high speed of his auto.

Hi, i noticed this auto : tn-19 aa 1558 driver constantly misbehaving to girls. He drives in the potheri - urappakkam route. If a girl comes alone and all others are guys, he will make the girl sit at the front seat. He will behave like he is very kind aand he helps in holding bag. If the girl is not comfortable he will say, "nothing to worrry. Think me as a brother" in tamil. Then while changing gear or as part of moving the bag of the girl he touches her thigh or stomach and say sorry im your brother dialogue. I personnaly experienced this. But i was not sure if is purposefully doing this. And onother day i saw him making a school girl sit with him and saying the same. So im lodging this complaint. Please do the needful.

hello, Yesterday 02/07/2014, at noon i ride my two wheeler on nungambakkam opp of palm grove hotel the atm of ax i waited to take left near by the atm of axis bank one auto rikshaw came with over speed opp to me and the rear wheel of the auto rikshaw over on my leg i missed my balance of my two wheeler i shouted the driver but he doesnt care he goes his way at the same speed with casually. kindly take some action or some warning to the auto driver to prevent his misbehaviour again. I have been consistently disappointed by brazen cheating by Chennai autorickshaw drivers ever since I came to this city four weeks ago.

My latest bad experience was tonight as follows:

I took an autorickshaw at Velachery rail station for Murugan Kalyana Mantapa on Velachery Bypass road -- a distance of about 2 km -- at 10.45 p.m. today, that is 3 June 2013. As I flagged down the auto, I asked, "how much to Murugan Kalyana Mantapam?" The auto driver said casually, "Yevlo yenna! Ukkarungo, sir." It so happened that he had ferried me to this destination from the station on an earlier occasion, when I had paid Rs. 50. (I always pay Rs. 50 on that route, two times every day). So I sat in the vehicle, but only after asking if he had change for Rs. 500. He said he had. Upon reaching the destination, the driver said he'd charge Rs. 60. When I protested, and the security guards at the building inquired, he lied -- yes, lied -- that he and I had agreed on Rs. 60. We had not. We had agreed only on the same fare that I paid the previous time, which was Rs. 50. When I insisted on his giving proper change, he snatched my 500-rupee note -- yes, snatched! -- and was about to leave. I protested at his goondagiri, but he did not relent. He boasted that his name was Raja and he had CITU support -- he challenged me to make a police complaint against him. (Auto license number TN 11, 9565). Further, he literally grabbed a 10-rupee note from me before finally giving change of Rs. 450. So in all, he took, by force, Rs. 60 -- a full Rs. 10 more. The question, of course, wasn't about money but about ethical and acceptable behavior. I have no doubt that if the security guards weren't watching, this man would have walked off with my 500-rupee note and perhaps done even worse things.

Again, the auto driver's name is Raja, he boasted he had CITU support, and his vehicle number is TN 11, 9565. In the interest of civility and justice, I request Chennai police to investigate him and disallow him from driving any public service vehicle.

My previous bad experience was when I failed to note down the driver's name and vehicle number. It was on last Friday, May 31, at 9 p.m. when I took an autorickshaw from near Simpsons (Anna Salai, Chintadripet) to Chennai Central. The driver took the Rs. 100 I gave him and after rummaging in his pocket for change (per the agreed amount of Rs. 30), did NOT produce any change -- instead, after a few seconds, he turned back and asked me for money! I said I just gave him Rs. 100 to which he said, "What Rs. 100? You have not yet given me anything"! That is the level o[censored]nconscionable behavior he stooped to. I protested loudly and after verbally fighting with him for close to ten minutes -- all the time worried I might miss my train -- he finally produced the correct change and I went on my way.

I want to lodge this complaint against an auto driver who misbehaved with me and my family today. We took the auto towards chetpet from kilpauk. He firstly charged us 50 rupees which was too much for that small distance. He dropped us on the opposite side. When we asked him to take us exactly to the place for which he is charging that amount. Then he started shouting and became very aggressive. We dont know Tamil being new to Chennai. Then he started saying bad words and only used Tamil language for abusing.

Request to take action against such arrogant drivers who can be concern for safety of the local people resideing in city. Chennai govt. should soon implement the meter system in Chennai to get rid of such instances.

Today was really bad coz that auto driver was using abusive words and bad language when we just asked him to drop to the place where we have actually taken auto for.

There are lot of share autos plying from Ambattur Industrial Estate upto Ashok Pillar.Last year they charged Rs.7/- from Wavin Bus stop to Ashok Pillar.Now they have started charging Rs.15- 20/- from Wavin to Vadapalani.

On May 18th i took a share auto from Wavin to MMDA, a stop ahead of Vadapalani.While getting down i gave a 20 Rupees note.I asked Rs.5/- in return, he didn't give my 5 rupees.Moreover he said wherever you get into this auto, you will be charged an amount of Rupees 20.He said i[censored] feel, you are at a loss of your Rs.5/- you can travel upto Vadapalani, which is not my intended stop.Then he started using abusive language against me.Unable to tolerate his filthy language, i gave up.

He was also driving the vehicle in a rash way and stuffing more number of people into his auto, his 4 seater auto had 5 people and two more were seated along his side i.e in the driver's seat.

On 4th May 09, I took an auto from T Nagar (Kumaran stores, Panagal park) to Chinmaya Nagar. The auto driver demanded Rs. 120 but I told him that I have always given Rs. 100/= for this distance. At first he refused, then he bargained for Rs. 110/ = and finally when I tried to hire another driver, he said that he will take us to Chinmaya nagar for Rs. 100/=. My mother, my daughter and I boarded the auto. He drove in a very rash manner and I cautioned him on this. My mother was also not happy with this. He did not pay any heed to our advice.

At Vadapalani, AVM theatre, I asked him to turn right and asked him to go through Saligramam because that is the common route that all auto drivers take. At this point, he started shouting and said, "You asked me to take you to Chinmaya Nagar and I will only come there". " You people cannot change it in the middle". We (both myself and my mother) tried to reason with him saying that this is the route that all auto wallas take and we have not asked anything different.

Then he started using foul language and hurled abuses at me and my mother who is a retired bank employee.We had no other option but to ask him to leave us at Saligramam itself because we found his language unbearable and I was close to tears. Even my mother was provoked and started shouting at him. After we got down from the auto at Saligramam, I handed him over the Rs. 100 note that I had promised. He took it and started giving me the change. I was so bugged by his behaviour that I did not accept the change.

The auto registration no is TN 07 AX 9437. I do not know the auto driver's name. He is lean with an bearded and unshaven face and was wearing a striped red T shirt.

I want the auto driver's licence to be immediately cancelled. He is not fit to drive any vehicle because of his rash driving and his reckless attitude towards passenger safety. I also want him to be booked for creating discomfort and inconvenience to me and my mother during the travel of 30 mts from T nagar to Saligramam.
