Chennai International Airport Complaints & Reviews
Rude immigration officer
| Address: Chennai airport |
Worst experience in the immigration.
Flight ( G9474 )
The date was ( 28/01/2022 ) MORNING TIME around 10 am - 11 am ) I WAS TRAVELING BACK TO UAE FROM CHENNAI AIRPORT.
( the reason im submitting a complaint now is because after I got back to uae I got busy with my dad as he is a cancer patient) so what happened was
The Immigration Officer was from kolkata who spoke in bengali, I have never seen an unprofessional, RACIST & disrespectful coward ever in my life.
He forgot to put a stamp on my boarding pass so I went back to him for it and told him kindly that He didnât put the stamp on my pass and I was stopped for it.
He started arguing with me and was behaving rudely and HIS VOICE WAS ON TOP OF HIS LUNGS.! AND THE ONLY REASON WAS I WAS SPEAKING IN ENGLISH.!!!
Me and my father were in a COMPLETE SHOCK SEEING HIS BEHAVIOR JUST BECAUSE I SPOKE IN ENGLISH
HE SAID ME IM NOT SUPPOSE TO TALK TO HIM IN ENGLISH BECAUSE APPARENTLY IT IS A CRIME (THATS WHAT HE SAID )
He threatened me that he would put a stamp on my passport which would ban me from traveling to India LOL. What else am I suppose to speak in? Anyone being a foreigner in India would only speak in Englishâ¦.!!! how is that a wrong thing to do? I dont know how such piece of ### got jobs in the immigration of an international airport.
FIRST OF ALL WE DIDNT TRAVEL TO INDIA FOR FREE WE PAID FOR EACH AND EVERYTHING AND SPENT AROUND 3 Million rupees in 3 months so THIS ISNT THE RIGHT WAYYY TO TREAT THE GUESTS FROM OUTSIDE COUTRY.

passport control
| Address: Chennai, Tamil Nadu |
Extremely bureaucratic airport especially the passport control. I have encountered the rudest person in my life and what’s worse is that he works at the counter for people with special needs. I was there with my father who was on a wheel chair and the nurse. The nurse doesn’t understand english so i had to explain to her what he was asking for and then he just started screaming because i was talking to her. He also started swearing in indian which i understood. The worst part when his manager came i told him about his attitude and asked for his name he told me there is nothing i can do even if i get his name. What a bureaucratic airport and staf[censored] No wonder this airport is behind the normal standards and below average when it comes to treating passengers
