I have submitted my passport renewal application on Nov 4th from Toronto but still haven’t received my passport. As per CGI Toronto, they haven’t received my verification report from Jammu and that is why they are helpless. This is very disappointing. I am travelling on Jan 28th with my family and desperately need my passport as canceling this travel would really cost me high which is not fair to me as I have applied for the renewal by giving a buffer time of 30 days and still passport issuance got delayed. My CID verification is over however the file is yet to send out to next level (don’t know where).

I would be very thankful to you if you could please expedite my file so that it could reach to the passport office as soon as possible.

I had applied for passport in april 2016 at passport office jammu. My police verification process has been completed on 18th april 2016.

Even after 5 long months from to sepmayseptember16, the police verification report has not been forwarded to psk jammu. This incident clearly highlights the heights of irresponsibility on part of j&k police and about their work culture.
