I had used CoinSwitch’s newly launched service — their Web3 wallet — where I bought 4 different coins. I invested ₹100 in one and ₹200 in another. The coin I bought for ₹200 increased in value to ₹2000. When I tried to sell it, their website wasn’t allowing the sell option due to a server issue. Because of that, I couldn’t sell in time, and now the value of that coin has dropped to ₹30. I also contacted...

Refund request

I have made Payments on the 13th of January 2024. I was requested to make the 1st payment of R5000 into a merchant account, the payment was made, then the 2nd request make a payment to a merchant account of R16 500 and 3rd I was requested to make another payment of R38 620. Then I waited for the money to be deposited back into my account however it did not happen. I was then advised that there was an error on my account I must make another payment of R78 250 and I will get the money back. I made the payment as per the request and then I got feedback that the merchant reduced my credit score from 100% to 98% therefor I am expected to make a payment of R191 000 in order to withdraw what is in my wallet.
I advised the teacher that I have no more funds. I cannot afford that and he told me that there is nothing that he can do for me. I then requested a friend to make a partial payment of R60 000 for me on the 15th of January 2024. A friend made a payment and I was still required to make another payment.
I was then advised that I must make a payment of 65 000 in order to get my money back. On the 2nd of Feb 2024 I made a payment of R30 000 and then on the 4th of February 2024 I made another payment of 35 000. Then I was told that I must wait for my money to be in my account since I have selected the withdrawal option for all my money.
To my surprise the money did not come through when I laid a complaint the merchant told me that I must pay another amount of R105 348 in order to get money back.
I advised the merchant that I no longer have money and no one can borrow me money as I have exhausted all the money from the bank under my name and the loan shark.
I was told that they cannot help me
If I do not make a payment. All that iam asking is for Coinswitch to refund me my money back into my bank account.
They have caused me stress, anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. I just need my
Money to the refunded

Holding assets
| Website: coinswitch.co |
Hello
This is about the app CoinSwitch Kuber. They are an Indian crypto exchange and I have been using their services since over a year. So initially the transactions were fluid with minor setbacks but now they don’t allow withdrawals of my deposits or transfer of my holdings which shouldn’t be the case with any exchange because it contradicts with the very idea of decentralisation. In essence they are holding general public’s money under false promises and advertisements. I spoke with them via twitter and their customer support and everytime I got the response that they are trying to comply with Indian laws and guidelines whereas their is no such law that stops a consumer from withdrawing their assets, moreover other platforms and exchange apps are allowing transactions in compliance with Indian policy. Please note this seems to be an ongoing and very common issue with this company CoinSwitch as you can see on their twitter handle a lot of people have the same issue with withdrawals and they are stuck with an incompetent company.
My loss here is I’m not able to trade and change my holdings when market is moving which is very wrong and goes against the very idea of trading.
I have faith in Our judiciary and kind officials to take this issue under consideration and deal with such scammers who are maligning the image of our great nation by creating such mediocre product and duping people of their hard earned money.
Very grateful for your attention
Thank you
