We live in a civil services officers' colony in lutyen's delhi, and the new people who have been allotted a house in our neighborhood have been carrying out illegal activities including large amount of construction on government property. They have completely cut some trees from their lawn, and have constructed an entire two-room-one-bath apartment in their backyard.
In addition, they have reconstructed the boundary wall of their house, and now it encroaches on the road which is at a turn, and hence makes it difficult for cars to take a turn.

I am the allotee of quater. 943, block - 17, lodhi road, new delhi. Its more than 2 months we got a notice from govt. To move from sarojini nagar but the house that is alloted to us is still not in a condition to live.
Pending work in the house as given below :

Fan is missing in balcony - in total 4 fans should be there in the house but the balcony fan is missing.
When we asked the je and the team they told us to contact electrical department.
When we contacted the electrical department, they told us that we have the entry in the register that there must 4 fans available in the house. I have the vedio recording of the condition of the house so i would request someone to take this from me and ask then to provide us the assets for which we are entitled.

Improper locks in windows - non of the windows are opening and closing properly. Window jalee needs to be replayed.

Main fron door is brocken - even at the time of allotment we gave a written complaint for this door that the door is broken and it's a security purpose, so please make sure to replace it but as we checked last week the thekedar painted the same door and now je is calling us to take the key with the same door. Here the question is who would be the guarantor of the safety of my wife and children. Who would be answerable for my family in my absence? Is this je or the thekedar?

Wall paint/ seepage in balcony - as i have checked the wall paint done by the thekedar people that were not up to the standard as the govt. Is paying to him. That was pathetic in my word. Just after the wall paint, seepage is there in the balcony area and inside the baramda. We asked them to add another quote atleast in that place but they are refusing to do that.

Repair waste in the backside of house - looks like we are there unpaid servant to clean all the waste that they left on the backside of the house. This is really.. Really.. A pathetic way they are doing their duties. Govt. Should take feedback from the allotee and on the basis of that only govt. Should sanction their money or payments.
Swach bharat abhiya is not even applicable for govt. Servants so how you will ask others to follow.

I really want an honest govt. Servant to look into this matter else i will escalate this matter to everywhere as i can.


I and my son went to enquiry office n numbers of time but there was no response from their end. Personally meeting them, giving them written complaints, now what else shall we do to get the thing for which we are entitled by the govt.

But that broken the single story surrounding area of gurudwara sahib ali ganj lodhi road new delhi. No can removed the "malva" from that area and there are so may wild bush...

In the mansoon season, now the mosquito is active in all surrounding area and its very harmful for residential, we try to inform all the related person, but still no action on this matter...

I again requesting to you please clean that area as soon as possible

I am a resident of income tax colony type 3/67 jyoti nagar jaipur.in my quarter no jali gate in main door and water supply fitting is not good. I have launched complain on cpwd sewa but no one attended to solve the problem. I have contacted several times in help desk centre and i also contacted to s. K. Meena jen but no response taken. We would all be thankful if this problem can be solved. Please look into it.

The cpwd contractor started construction of boundary wall at my house no. 1089, sector 12, rk puram last wednesday. After working for two days, the workers left the work unfinished saying that their building material had exhausted and they will re start the work after one or two day. But, now at least five days have passed, but the work has not been re started. It is a very filthy condition where broken concrete material is scattered, bushes have been kept in the ground, broken bricks can be seen every where.in total, house is highly exposed to passers by and street dogs. My question is that - why a work should be started when there material is not available? I request the concerned officers to kindly pass suitable instructions. At b-5 customs, central excise & service tax officers quarters, katrak road, wadala (West), i the undermentioned resident is finding frequent seepage of water in kitchen from b-6, quarter above my quarter. The request is regarding to get the same corrected at the earliest, because this is causing troubles in food prepration as the seepage is just above the kitchen platform.

This is a complaint for non construction of boundary wall in my house no. 1089, sector 12, rk puram, new delhi. As per the sanction of the government, under upgradation scheme, boundary wall is being constructed in all type iv houses of rk puram. I lodged a complaint by personally meeting the junior engineer of cpwd enquiry, sector 12, rk puram, about a year back, when the work was starting. The je told that the contractor was not regular, however, he promised to do the same as soon as possible. Since then, i have been reminding the j. E continuously. However, every time he tells that contractor is absconding or some other routine excuse. About 10 days back i again went to the je. Je told that contractor does not obey his orders. It was surprising and must be taken seriously by senior officers of cpwd. I have last lodged a complaint no.[protected] misc. Hope, the boundary wall will be constructed. B. Sir, due to repairing etc. At qr. No. 60-c sector-4 bangla sahib road nd-1, lot of malwa are lying in open between the 60 block. Now due to uncertain rain the mosquitto started breeding there and chances of malaria, chickengunia and related diseses are on very high. Even alottee of qr. No 60-c spoke to concerned contractor's man for the removel but nothing has happened. Now we all residents of 60 block request you to take action in the matter and save us from mosquitto related diseases.

Sir, I am a resident of qr. no.947, sector-8, r.k. puram, new delhi. Some work took place in our block engaged by cpwd enquiry sector-8, rk puram in the outer walls of the. A lot of malwa was stacked in front and backyard of the house. I requested the contractor to remove them. But he ignored my request. I rangup the enquiry and made repeated requests. Till date they have not removed the malwa. It is three months since the malwa is lying in the premisis and a lot more is accumulating every day. As a result a lot of mozquito and stench is spreading. I am a resident of 1017, sector-7, pushp vihar, m.B. Road, new delhi-110017. I am writing this letter to address a serious problem with drain blocked in our neighbourhood.

My neighbours have become seriously sick neighbours because of this and i am concerned about the safety of my family members and the other residents of colony.

I trust that you will make this issue a priority since the conditions in our neighbourhood are worsening each day. I am sure you understand the urgency of this matter since it could have serious and tragic result which would not be in anyone's self interest.

Should this issue not be dealt with in a timely manner, i will be forced to address our concerns with the appropriate higher authorities and address the issue with the media.

Our house at 753, block-10, Baba kharag Singh Marg near RML hospital, balcony cover work started in February end when the contractor people suddenly left and despite going to J.E. and personally meeting him several times, nothing has been done. Every time he said it will be completed same day but nothing done till date. Glass is to be affixed, cement to cover the gaps, etc needs to be done. HRA from January is so high and CPWD is busy paying the contractor. Wake up CPWD.

I am the allottee of house No 134 Laxmi Bai Nagar New Delhi. I was allotted the house in Feb 2014 and was given 4 months time for upgradation. However, I was not given the house in the scheduled time . It was handed over to me in Sep 2014 saying that it is complete from all aspect. But I found that many of the work was left incomplete. The electrical work of the staircase was incomplete. Till date the exhaust fan has not been installed. The mirror of the wash basin is missing. Since then i have brought these things to the notice of the cpwd but nothing has been done till date. It seems after the contracters finish the work of a house the civil and electrical engineers dont even bother to see whether the contracters have completed the work or not and they handover the house and after that even i[censored] give repeated complaints it goes into their deaf ears. I am Resident of F-1607 netaji nagar. My garden sewer is blocked from past 1 month. i already register complaint for more then 5 times. i personally meet the Junior Engineer MR. Anushreshth twice. But my sewer problem is not solved yet. My house is full of smell because water is coming back into my toilet. I did not know what to do and where to complaint.

Sir, It is to bring to your kind notice that in Block No.12 ground allocated to Quarter No.113 to 132 remains water logged even after 10 minutes of rain. Resultantly, the life of all the residents of this block becomes miserable and unhealthy. Just one hour rain on 21st June, 2015 made one foot water logging and vehicles were free wheeled and also impossible to approach. It is also pointed out that in an emergent situation, it becomes impossible to even reach to the vehicle and move it to on road. The residents have been facing this acute problem for the last 4-5 years. Many times requests have been made to CPWD. This water logging has been causing severe health problems as the stagnant water becomes the ground for mosquito breeding and cause of many water borne diseases like malaria, dengue, etc. It is requested to make urgent arrangements for provision of inter-locking tiles to the whole ground before the onset of monsoon. The person who got the allowtment give it to another person on rent. .there behavior is so insane. .and govt quaters on rent is illegle too.pls take acton on this as soon as possible. I stay at Ground floor, Room No. 3314 Building No. 81, Sector-7, SM Plot, Antophill, Mumbai. There is seepage problems in roof of Bath room, Toilet and getting wall damage day by day. I have filed written complaints on 30 Aug 14, i also written in complaint register and verbal requested many times at cpwd but they not taking any action ignoring consistently. This is the worst service provided by cpwd. If somebody registered complaint they are completely dealing with carelessness. Requesting you to please do something before the house get break. I am resident of 101, Type IV, North West Moti Bagh, New Delhi-110021. I shifted on March 2014. Before shifting here we made a complaint of repairing of main iron door but since then no action was taken by JE till now. Now its been 6 months our main door is jammed and we cannot lock it from outside. Its very unsafe to leave house without locking the iron door. If we can't use the main door for safety than what's the point to give this iron door. Whenever we made complaint for this, we were told to meet JE but we never got any satisfactory answer from him. Now the hinges of one of the wooden door is lose and we are unable to shut it. We made a complaint for this also but the same response we got. i am Sandeep, complaining behalf of my father Mr. Jagat Singh Payal, Block 14 House No. 841 Lodhi Colony. My complaint is that repairing of my house is still running from 15 days. Now they stopped repairing and they are not coming for work now. I complained to JE of Lodhi Colony but they are not taking any action for that, So i request to you that take strict action against contractor.

Sir, I am a resident of Lodi Colony - Block 20. I would like to draw your kind attention towards the DUMPING of concrete, bricks, window panels in our ground. The work is being done for Block 12, but all the material is dumped in our block. Due to this, the residents are facing a lot of problem. Some children GOT INJURED while playing due to these materials. If the work is for block 12 or some other block, then why the material is being dumped in our ground? We informed the contractor about this, but he is adamant. It is also very difficult for the vehicles to pass. . A lot of leaves from the branches of these trees fall in my courtyard making it very dirty and the same requires cleaning at short intervals. Also sunlight does not reach my house properly because of these trees which creates problems in drying of clothes. The branches of these trees may therefore please be cut/pruned as the same are creating a lot of nuisance. In this regard it is also pointed that pruning of these trees should be undertaken suo moto by your organization at periodic intervals, rather than on being pointed out to you by residents. Hi,

We have been facing an issue with sewage blockage in the kitchen each day. In regards to this, we have lodged complaints several times in last two months but every time someone visits our place and just takes the signatures stating this will be taken care off but no action is taken. we are tired of making complaints every other day. My mom, who is a homemaker, finds it very difficult to work in the kitchen due to water-logging which is also a hygiene issue. She has to personally sit down and clear the sewage each day which is impacting her health now. It takes almost half an hour everyday to clear the mess but CPWD seems to pay no attention to our problems.
Additionally, we had also filed a complaint for the moisture in our bathroom walls but it was against unanswered. The complaint was filed 5 months back and we followed up till 3 months but to no resolution. We are quite annoyed with the way the system is working. People sitting out there are just taking salaried for no work, they are least concerned about what they have been hired for.

I have also tried contacting several phone numbers where we can file complaint against CPWD not all numbers go invalid.
Can you please advise which is the higher authority where we can escalate the issue so that it can be taken care off??

Dear Sir,

My Self Jitender Pal, My Father is working in Ministry of Agriculture we had allotted Laxmi Bai Nagar Type II Flat in the month of JAN-31-2012 that allotted without updagration and same time Mr. J.E Sir told us that it will be done in next 2 to 3 months and Mr. A.E also confirmed the same things but till date no work started nor ready to accept our application complaint.

We only want to know that if out H.R.A detecting monthly basis then how they people can deny for it and why they given incomplete house to us and why they told lie.

Expecting the reply from CPWD Organization for it and also expecting that Updagration work will also be start by current month only.

1. There is no storage tanks in bathroom and kitchen.
2. No paints on doors.
3. No white wash on reconstructed parts of house.
4. The cement land of lawn and main gate are not in a good position.
It is my 3rd complaint among that.we are living in this house and shown so much problems.
it is my humble request to please maintain it as soon as possible.

I Shri Amaresh Behera resided at CPWD General Pool Qtr. no. 428, I.C Block, Salt Lake, Sector- 3, Kolkata-700106. I have complaint on dt: 14.4.12, about choke of all water supply pipelines of my quarter. Fortunately water is following slowly and day to day work was going on upto dt:22.4.12 but on dt: 23.4.12 water supply was totally stopped and we are suffering from too much problem with my four family members. INITIALLY THERE WAS NO LEAKING FROM THE ROOF OF OUR TOILETS COMPOSITE, NOW ITHAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR THE LAST SIX MONTHS.JE AND CONCERNED AE HAS VISITED TWICW BUT DUE TO REASONS BEST KNOWN TO THEM NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN. IT IS ALSO CAUSING STRUCTURAL WEAK NESS OF THE BUILDING BUT THESE ENGINEERS ARE LETTING IT TO HAPPEN.

BESIDE THIS THERE IS A SEWAGW SPILL BEHIND OUR BLOCK ,ENGINEERS WERE REQUESTED TO MAKE AN APPRON TO PROTECT THE FOUNDATION AS WELL AS ARREST WATER AT ENTRY POINT BUT THEY,TYHE ENGINEERS HAVE EITHER LOST THERE SENSE OF DUTIES OR COMPETENCY LEVEL IS LOW.

I am Manoj Kumar working in Central Water commission as Assistant Director. Presntly I am residing in Quarter No. SB - 202, Block No. 11 , Hudco place Extension, Andrewsganj, New Delhi 110049.
Seepage is continuing from the time when I was alloted this quarter about 7 month before.I had lodged numerous complaints regarding SEEPAGE to the CPWD Officials, in the form of telephone calls through customer care, through letters and through personal interaction with the JE & AE CPWD, Hudco Place. Till now this problem has not been resolved from the CPWD officials. In my house unhygenic condition has developed. CPWD officials are not understanding my problem.
If CPWD officials are not able to do this work then govt. should give maintainance contract to private party.
Therefore I request you to kindly pay attention towards my problem and sort out as soon as possible.
