My name is Smt. Chanda Singh. I am allotee of Qno- 665, sec-2, type-2, Sadiq nagar which is under in CPWD maintanance. Last four years i will complaint to JE (civil) my house walls are broken kindly repair and renovate this house many times but he say ur number not in list. But he force by our RWA president his collegue and his relative house are renovate because he/she is member RWA. Lot of time i complaint to JE's & AE's he doesn't work he have lot of reason fund are not sufficent . I can't disclose his/her name's beacaue we are living in his society. Last Monday my son lodge a complaint to CPWD Call Centre our house wall tiles & floor tiles but its converted to periodic upgradation kindly contact your JE but Saturday my son contact to JE(civil) Mr. Lalit Pal speak to out complaint MY COMPLAINT NO IS 2130795 but he say ur number is not our list but house no 685 work is done by without number how it's possible if 685 instead of 665. I know counting is start ascending order but our JE's can't know i think in his dictionary counting starts desending . Lalit Pal give me no answer how work is done in 685 work is done by private contractor but investigate work is done by CPWD contractor. How work is done in 685 allottee. Both JE's are not work properly his behavior are so rude. Kindly give me whole information .This is my third complaint in one month . If you cannot give a answer. Their is second step it's RTI. Please visit my house lot of work done in our house.

31/2 HAS BEEN ALLOTTED FOR CENTRAL GOVT STAFF, BUT UNFORTUNATELY GIVEN TO rental purpose . THE RENTAL PERSONS FROM 31/2 DOING ROWDYISM, they builded the PEST AND ANIMAL farms in the quarters with the help of govt cpwd staffs.
many homes allotted for rental . why this is happening in CPWD why cpwd members are doing like.
PLS VACATE the POULTRY FARMS and vacate them to out of quarters.
PLS HELP to the quarters members kindly take action immediately

we had alloted house no.1322, pushp vihar, sec-iii in the month of December 2010. From that date till now we have facing lots of problems regarding the maintenance and installation work. Despite of our so many complaints the officer and its supporting staff did not repair of wall, slab and roof of kitchen in our house. Its my humble request to you please look into the matter and take strict action against this corrupt and dishonest officials. Hope our work will be done very soon...

Dear Sir,

It is to inform you that after lodging several complains on toll free number as well as personnel request/complaint to J.E. no action has been taken to remove the leakage of the toilet flush. Several requests for fitting of Exhaust fan in kitchen and toilet and to provide the tiles in the kitchen had been made by me but the same has not been provided so far at house no.8/537, type-iii, lodhi colony, new Delhi allotted to me in the year, 2005. Please take necessary action and direct the concerned officials/authority to attend the complaints of the allottees at the earliest otherwise action may be taken against the concerned officials who are receiving salary without work.

I am residing in a quarter in kalkaji 267A, the drainage has blocked, have approached the cpwd, complaint no. is 8038451, but no body redresses the same, have approached the JE shri parmanandji, but he says today, today, but no remedial measure is taken.my bathroom seems to be kitchen and kitchen seems to be bathroom. Today requested the AE shri nitish sharma to see the same

I have alloted quarter no B-52 type -2 in moti bagh-1, previously it was allotted to my father in June 2009.
Since then no renovation done by the related CPWD staffs.
The roof is leaking during rainy season. The electric wires are old and made of aluminum which often breaks and as a result suffers due to power problems.
The floor is not tiled and looks bad.
The quarter condition is not habitual.
I complaint to the related officers many times but still the situation is same.

I M H Ram QTR No. 99/a Andrewsganj I had complained for Main gate since 28/06/2010 complaint no. 382097, converted to major complaint no. 2948137 dtd 12/03/12 and I have again complained for main gate complaint no. 2624801 dtd 17/12/2012 then reply not admissible and floor repairing for lavatarine and bath room complaine no. 900231 dtd 13/10/2010 and complaint no. 2624799 dtd 17/12/2011 reply not admissible I had enquiry from CPWD enquiry then they reply me as per our record your major complint no. 900231 dtd 13/10/2010 has alredy attended and work is done but nobody has come to my home. neither attend above complainent nor completed the any work till now.

Ihave registered a complaint of drain blockage(outside) several times with cpwd delhi which was attended by Shri Pratap Singh and told that the compliant regarding blockage is required to be lodged at Amar Colony, but till date the said compliant is not attended by any one even after lapse of one week and we are facing great difficulties due to frequent blockage. Further I have made several other civil/electrical upgradation work(as electrical upgradation work is not done my quarter even after my repeated request) compliants so many times and till date neither the work done nor they are not even bothered to attend the work despite my request. as being a central govt employee i have been allotted a for last 16 year and i have been paying all my taxes and house rent to govt which is deducted from my salary every month if i am right so it is my right that govt should provide all repairment works so my complaint is that the povided by the cwpd oficers is of very low grade and and dosent satisfy any resident of our colony because work is done the private companies of (thekedar) for which they been filling tender and the quality of thw work isnt good last week i got my govt quater painted which is vey bad the govt has passed a tender of dist ember paint but paint used at homes is of vey bad quality and dosent stay on wall and i went to loge a complaint to local cpwd officer he refused to look after the matter so

I have been allotted to quarter No.399, Sector-IV, R.K.Puram, New Delhiin Septemebr, 2010. I have given writing two minor works to be carried out my residence which are as follows:-
1. A small lawn gate may be erected to my residence as it isa very vulnerable condition theft and danger of life also as it is the quarter is situating at the extreme end of the road side. CPWD J.E. and AE agreed that it will be done after shifting the same. No action is taken so far.
2. Another one is tiles of kitchen wall. During electrical and civil maintenance works many exisitng tiles were broken many holes developed which is easily infested cockroaches and other insects and become very unhygeneic condition for preparation of food etc. This was also brought the notice of JE&AE. was also agreed to be done. No action has taken so far. REquested that taken note of this request by higher authorities and direct concerned officers to be done this work.

Dear Concerned Person,

I am an allottee of 14, Kali Bari Apartment, Udyan Marg, New Delhi and I write to inform you that some renovation work is going on in Flat No. 30 in Kali Bari Apartment and due to which the water leakage in the shaft has created seepage in our rooms, toilet and bathroom. We have made the complaint regarding the same in the concerned enquiry but no body has neither bothered nor has come to see.
Therefore, it is requested that necessary action in this regard may kindly be taken at the earliest.

Govt should immediately close down the maintenance deptt of CPWD and outsource the whole process of maintenance of Govt Qtrs. Even in CPWD website there is no monitoring of complains by he CPWD officials.

I feel that if there is any irresponsible department under central Government, that is CPWD because I have seen a lot of complaint on web site which shows the pathetic situation of allotees, but the lowest level of CPWD which are JE s and AEs are neglecting their complaints considering that these are common. Particularly, the CPWD servantswhocome fo rdoing repair are not doing the work properly. they are compelled to do it by the allotees complaint. CPWD, s Lowest level like JEs and AEs are not minding the common men, s (allotees) grievances, that will affect the total total image of the CPWD. Even if made complaint to customer care, the concerned JEs and other officials are not ready to come and see the situation. If our system of mechanism going so, how our nation can get into list of developed countries. Unless each and every person of our nation, particularly Govt officials, take their duties sincerely, our dream of a developed india will remain as a line drew in water.

I feel that the Govt should immediately snatch the process the maint work of CPWD qtrs.

I am an advocate and i am living with my wife in Qtr No E32D MIG Mayapuri (Type IV), allotted to my wife. I had lodged numerous complaints regarding stair case light and my drawing room's fan which was replaced by the new fan fixed by CPWD Officials, Old fans were working properly inspite of that CPWD officers ordered to replace the fans with the new one without any request. As soon they installed the fans they were making much noise.I have made the complaints of the same but none of them have bothered it. After one month fan was jammed and now it is not in a working position. I made a complaint twice or thrice but still position is the same.I made a telephonic interaction with the JE CPWD, Mayapuri. I had even spoken to the Executive Engineer of CPWD Mayapuri once, regarding the same. Till date the complaint is not been attended to. The CPWD officials are not keen in attending the complaints . Such a lackadaisical attitude from CPWD officials are not appreciated.

I am totally agreed with you MR Tiwari. All CPWD Employee are corrupt and useless. They want payments facility and all hikes without doing any contribution. They don't have Adequate's how to talk. Even they don't know what their duties towards their work. They find all the excuses for not doing works

I totally agree.I too have complained innumerable time regarding problem in my house 203/3 sec-1, pushp vihar.No body listens and does any thing.Even I dont know, what do to.

All CPWD employees are useless sprcially in Sector-4, R.K.Puram even the senior officers behave like mere workers. Nobody heeds to our complaints. Mr. Anna Hazare needed to be called for eradication of corruption in CPWD. Most of the workers want to get the job done privately. What for we are paying so much money as licence fee? We should be permitted to get the job done privately & the govt. should not charge any licence fee from us, if CPWD cannot do proper work.

My kitchen window pane has been broken. Lot of complaints has been lodged but it has not been repaired till date. kindly do it on priority.

I was allotted a quarter No. 13/504, lodhi colony in June 2010 and J.E concerned Mr Meena of CPWD Enquiry of Lodhi road had given in writing that the possesstion of flat will be given in 60 days. Now it is 11th December 2010 and approximately 6 months has been elapsed and the possessions of the flat is still awaited. I have visited the enquiry office more than 10 times to get the possession of Qr. No.Block13/ 504 Lodi Colony, but no satisfactory answer has been given to me and I am still waiting and waiting. It is requested that suitable arrangement may be made so that I should get the possession of the captioned flat at the earliest possible. At the time of possesstion I had given in writing there is no need of change of door and window., because the doors and windows of the flat were in ggood condition, bt the enquiry people did not hear to me and the renowation work has not been completed so far. Please give me favour for eary possession of the captioned flat is given to me urgently.

All the above complaints were got attended when go through internet which were false take necessary action against defaulter . Also refer my previous letter references . THe basic ammenties were got attenmded by myself after making payment to the private party but none has listen my grivencies even up to request to SE Now I M copelled to file the case for making payment to me for expenditure incurred and I will be hioghly if the recovery of the same is made from the salary of SE, EE, AE ane JE too , Failing which DG CPWD will be responsible for the same .

It's indeed the matter of fact that CPWD officer take no action against critical complaints or grievance of the allottee. I am also facing the same problem in Shimla. I have been allotted the Type-IV flat (newly upgraded) in Kaithu area in Shimla. I am staying for the last 4 months in this house but now their is a huge sepage in the kitched and bathroom which is further extending towards all rooms.

I made multiple compalin to JE office but nothing positive. CPWD person come and see give ideas but noone came afterwards. They never listen to genuine complaints and do job as per their settings and comforts. SImilarly, there is no proper maintainance of drainage, cleaniness in and around the buildings.

I request all the CPWD allottees to fight for their rights and make officer resposible for their wrong doings. i also request Goverment of India to kindly look into the matter and instruct the CPWD high ups to fix responsibilities of their SE, AE and JE . These officer never visit the site of construction which result incomplete sub standard jobs of contractor in place.

I hope someone will read my complaint and do the needful. The situation is so worse that it is difficult to use kitchen for cooking but for CPWD staff it's of no importance. Their major job is something else which is against national interest.

this is to bring to ur notice that the officials from cpwd are never on time on their duty or they are totally absent.Mr JE and Mr AE for lal quater Minto Road are never on their seat and in the office be it any time of the day I doubt they dont even come to the office both Mr Guptas are daily absconding from their duty which is very inconvenient for the residents of the residents of Government Quaters of MINTO road. i have logged a complaint regarding the repair og my quater since June 2010 which is still un attended however all the officeal come with their diaries many a times to my house but no action .

I beg to state that I have been allotted quarter no. 159 road no.- 7 Andrews’s gang new delhi on the dated 18/09/2014 as a new allotte. But the quarter no. 159 road no - 7 type -1 is not repaired properly after several request to the staff/officer of Andrews’s gang cpwd.
The reply of officer/staff of cpwd Andrews’s gang is that the private contractor will do the needful. when we call to private contractor he says that call to JE or AEE. No one is showing interest into the matter the same quarter is allotted to me on dated 18/09/2014. till date several miscellaneous works are pending against quarter no. – 159 road no – 7 andrewsganj are as under.

1. The water tank is not installed.
2. The white wash after wiring is not complete.
3. The wall tiles after wiring are not upgraded.
4. The sink in toilet is still to be installed.
5. The tapes in the bathroom are to be installed.
6. The Iron Gate is still uninstalled.
7. The loop of newly installed window in room (as per verbally discussion with JE ) has been eaten by termite need to be change / repair.

It is therefore requested you to sir kindly look into the matter and give proper instruction to you staff/officer of Andrews’s gang so that I may shift to my newly allotted quarter.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been allotted quarter no.929, sector-7, pushp Vihar, New Delhi-17 in the year 2019. Since then, there is a lot of seepage problem in the chajja/window areas of every room. However, despite making several complaints on several times, the same has not been resolved till date. During rainy season, the situation/condition of chajjas become worse. Further, there are a lot of peepal trees grown inside the wall of bathroom/toilet from inside and their roots have started coming inside. Despite several complaints made in this regard, this complaint has not been resolved as yet. Even the concerned JE has not attended or looked into the matter personally.
It is, therefore, requested to kindly look into the matter and take the action as per rule.

1. Seepage in kitchen, Toilet, Bathroom, bed room & balcony
2. Doors of Bathroom & Toilet are in bad condition & needs replacement

I occupied the allotted cqtr today on 18/08/2010 allotted to me on 17/06/.2010(lapse of 60 days), after up gradation work but when i taken over the kees of quarter many petty works, which are supposed to be completed by CPWD, are to be done by me. As no doors are properly fitted/repaired, electric connection are not adequate, POP work is not good, pipe line (water) connection are not proper. it seems that the officers of CPWD did not visited the quarters before handing over to occupant. If I complaints at that time it will take another two month.

Really it is very slackness on their part. This deppt should be handed over to private sector for trial basis for some time. I have been alloted type 3 quarter in lodhi colony six months back but till today on 4sept 2010 upgradation work is still not completed and stil I am waiting for occupation. Sometime they behave like landlord. They blame each other for not completing of work and we suffer badly. If you are known to him your work will be done if not than keep on waiting.

Concerning officer may please directed for proper compliance time to time please. Physical Supervision must be done by AE civil and electrical. However, in some other colonies CPWD staff are very good its all depends on their in charges.

Can somebody mail me the Civil & Electrical works included in the upgradation of Type III quarters in Lodi Colony Delhi.

Yes I also had the same problem with the CPWD Laxmibai Nagar, one of the worst CPWD service centres. The JE gave possession of the flat in which lot of work was to be completed promising that he would complete them very soon. I had to literally request and beg to get some of the work done like fixing glasses on the windows etc. Bhagwan bachaye CPWD Laxmibai Nagar se. Who will listen to complaints and complaints to whom

This is to inform you that flush water tank installed at my residence in latrine is not working for the last 10 months. Water from this flush tank always flows continuously due to damage of rubber warshal inside the flush tank as stated by the plumber in November, 2008 which was not available at that time in the stock of store and assured by him that it will be replaced as soon as new rubber warshal will be available in the stock and provided to me for replacement. In this connection, I have lodged about more than 15 complaints in the CPWD Complaint Register, East Kidwai Nagar; some of which are on dated 18.4.2009, 22.5.2009, 6.6.2009, 19.6.2009, 26.6.2009, 7.7.2009 and 17.7.2009 but it is very strange that beside my repeated requests and personal visits to old and new JE, nobody has come so far to attend the above complaint. I want to know that is there any way of complaining against such person who are not willing to do there work properly.

It is requested to kindly look into the matter and arrange to repair the above flush water tank at the earliest which has not been working for the last 10 months and is lying shut.

I am the alloted at sec 7, Pushpa vihar. It is the CPWD zone. Since we hav shifted here, we saw there are irresponsible work on every complaints.whether it is urgent or a normal complaint. Irresponsiblilities are so high that they plays cards on duty time. If we aske about the complaints status, they demand money to sought out the complaints minimum 100/-.Even they say that they don`t hav tools or equipments.But i don`t understand where are the supplies goes? Also they don`t give complaint numbers.

Now a day, they have started toll free no [protected]. they don`t work, even after this facility is started, they are free to not to work because this no does not responce.there are lots of illegal work they do if they are bribe.Even you can take a electricity connection without meter directly to the main supply.
The complaints against these CPWD employee, nobody taken action against these government employees?

I wish to inform you that your electrical dept. done the underground electric fitting in the Qtr No. 24-H, Sector-IV, DIZ Area, New Delhi-110001 in the month of Oct/Nov 2008, but in the case of balcony no elect. fan switch given by the contractor, I lodged the complaint in the month of Dec 2009. The CPWD inquiry issue the ceiling fan for balcony in the month of Jan 2010, but they do not given any switch point for fan. I already contact to JE, AE and SE (elect) in this regard but no action action taken tiil date. I written an application to SE(Elect) on 28 Apr 10, but no action taken till date.

I request you the concerned dept. HOD please taken the immediate action in this matter.

CPWD is the worst department I have seen in delhi. All the officers JE EE and other officers are very busy only in talking to tekedars and entertaining them. I had given my complaint to JE GUPTA and also to earlier officers of J-Block Enquiry office Kali Bari Marg, regading wardrobe which have been eaten by the termites and the widows which have been completely broken. Even after two years no action has been taken. Whereas esate office is deducting rent and other maintenance charges from our salary. Nobody dares to take action against these officers? Can you somebody help me. I am staying in H-292, kali bari marg, new delhi-110 001

I am giving complaint for the past two years regarding the wardrobe which has been completely eaten by the termites and changing of windows ( seven) which have been
completely broken. I had given complaint in writing, and visiting your office regularly and I have also given lot of complaints through telephone. Eventhough my complaint in the file it has not been attended by the concerned tekedar?. The complaint given recently has been attended by the tekedar?. I don’t know the logic in leaving behind the old complaints and attending the new complaints. I am facing lot of problems in
keeping the things. I have already lost my cloths and other important things due to the termites which has spoiled our things.Mr. Gupa JE, is a deaf person. He does not listen to our complaints. Eventhough my complaint has been entered in the register no action has been taken so far?

Dear Sir,
I would like to bring to your kind notice regarding a renovated house under the automated allotment system in CPWD. In other countries like USA and Japan, they allot houses only after complete renovation of houses, unlike in our system where a house is allotted and we are after the CPWD enquiry office day in and out and the contractor personnel asking for "chai paani" and works related to house renovation getting stalled up for weeks. Is there an uniform policy for a renovated house to be given for allotees in the first instance ? An uniform policy is needed where houses which are empty and ready for allotment get repaired and the competent authority should instruct the JE under the respective CPWD offices to get the house habitable and give allotment instead of alloting a house full of repairs and the allottee running pillar to post inside the CPWD office and taken for a ride both administratively and paying extra money where a full contract has been done by the Nirman bhavan through the CPWD office.

In my particluar case I was allotted F block 17 in Pragati vihar, I went to the JE for changing the WC, as it was in a broken condition and he told me that it would take 2 months to replace it, and after this prompt reply I asked him to replace the kitchen sink and granite slab in kitchen and mentioned the same time frame of 2 months. was told by the CPWD officials en masse to occupy the house first and side by side repairs would be done. My wife is pregnant and how can I do this? Why do we have to allot houses in a poor condition? Instead get all the necessary repairs done and then allot? Why dont we have an SOP for houses which are empty and check whether they are habitable or not? Who is the authority for deciding whether the house is ready for occupation or not?
A system should be place where a list of repairs to be done in a house should be drawn and approved and the JE should ensure that all these repairs are done in the house and then the house may be alloted unlike the system in India where Govt acco is alloted which is incomplete. My friends are working with Governments in USA, UK and Japan they dont face these issues of post allotment travails which we face in India. I am sure that you are quite approachable unlike the junior babus in the department and striving for change and betterment in the system. I have the hope and belief that this mail may be discussed in the right fora so that the agony after allotment may be relieved.

I am the allottee of Qrt N0-910, Type-4 Laxmi Bai Nagar, New Delhi. Since allotment from June. 2009, continuously CPWD request for repairing of roofs and crack walls in two rooms are still pending. I had have been lodging a number of complaints with their call center. Sometimes, mr babu Lal and others officials came but no fruitful action/results have been taken. Yesterday, one barrier(wall) is being fixed between two resident area on the roof. In the evening, suddenly tank's water had been flooded into the cracks from roofs in two rooms and spread over in my residence. All four water tankers of roofs were overflowed and water was floating from the wall's cracks into two rooms. Immediately, I lodge complain to service centre over phone. Now complaint No. 3991067 and 398779 have been register on local CPWD service center, But still no response till now.
It have been happening a number of times. Every time it was converted into major repair or no body came to see. Sometime sh babu lal mis-represent evidence as he must be shown attendance without attending and without taking allottee signature. Two year ago, one vigilance officer called me and enquiry about pendency of works but no result come out in this regard.
I would be highly appreciate if this work can done as urgent possible.

CPWD is the worst department I have seen in delhi. All the officers JE, AE, EE and other officers are very busy only in talking to tekedars and entertaining them. I had given my complaint to JE, AE and EE also to earlier officers of SECTOR-3 Pushp Vihar Inquiry office, Even after 42 days no action has been taken. Whereas esate office is deducting rent and other maintenance charges from our salary. Nobody dares to take action against these officers? Can you somebody help me. allotted qtr No. 84 sec-3 type-1 Since june 2012 continuously following with CPWD for repair & maintenance white washing, house elect wiring, but no action. Again lodge a complaint with their call center june 2012 complaint no.4076262 but no action. Again called today to call center and come to know Major complaint has been sent to local CPWD service center P. Vihar Sec 3, But no response.

It is intimated that, General pool Quarter No.84, Type-1, Sector-3 Pushp Vihar, New Delhi has been allotted to me in the month of June 2012. I have shifted my family I ibid quarter. The electric wiring of Quarter No.84 is completely damage and not for further use.
2. Earlier, I have also lodge complained through online vide complaint No.3495203 dated 15 July 2012, in turned concerned authorities has advised through SMS that compliant be lodged to the concerned JE (Elect) Pushp vihar.
3. It is therefore, requested that old Electric wiring may be changed/removed and new Electric wiring may please be fitted in my quarter for my proper use and to avoid any misshaping in future.

My name is Anant D. Sutar. I am staying in CGS Colony, 62/626, Sector-2, Kane Nagar, Antop Hill, Mumbai-400 037 since last five years. Since then so many times I have complained for old windows. I am staying at Ground floor. There are thieves comes at night, opens window easily and steals valuable items. I complaint to repair windows, but CPWD workers just doing something and says that these windows are old. It can't repaired. Secondly, recently three months ago my house got repaired. Repairing work is very poor and they have not paint yet doors and windows. I remind Jn Engineer Mr. Mohan Agrawal so many times to come and see the work, but he have no time to see the work done. There is no cleanliness surrounding my house. Contractor's labours just come to take money (Bakshis) in Diwali every year. There is no Security Guard to protect our quarters from thieves. Contractors are very rude in talking. Junior Engineer Mr. Mohan Agrawal listens them only. workers of CPWD also not attending complaints in time and results also very poor. Necessary action may please be taken against such engineers and staff and detail non-corruptible staff to get done proper work in time of each and every complainant/tenants.

The AE, JE of Lodhi Colony alognwith the contractor are also not done their duty properly. I have never seen these types of government officials who even does not bother of the problems for which they are getting a handsome salary.
