Sukhvinder Singh here, I have salaried account & credit card of your exteemed bank. someone used my credit card on 19th Aug (Ticket and Itinerary as of Tue-19Aug2008 15:55) for booking Air tickets. one from AIR Deecan (worth Rs. 5475) & one from EzeeGo1Travel (worth rs. 5406). you are requested to block mine card first & also send me the details who use my card (means from which webssite or emailID he/she booked ticket).
whatever details you have.
i have details from Air Deccan regarding this. they gave me the details of that particular person name, address & mobile no.
But, EzeeGo1travel didn't sent me details. So, you are requested to send them Acknowledgement mail for Enquiry. i am going for Policy Enquiry also.
So, ASAP send me details through mail or on my mobile.
Also, Today i received SMS, regarding transaction of Rs.3674 from Shri Raj Travels at 11:05 with Approval of transaction.

    dear sir, jab sey maney app ka c/card use kar raha huo. mae due payment 19 to 22 key beach mae jama karwata raha ho. jab card ka form bhara tha tab bhi yahi kaha gaya tha ki app ki payment jama karney ki date 19 to 22 hogi.usi anusar jo c/card par aj tak due date bhi ati rahi hai.aur money bhi jama hoti rahi hai lakin aj tak aise koei bat nahi huei.maine usi date anusar 19.7.08 ko bank gaya lakin late ho janey ki wajha sey payment jama nahi ho saka aur us din satur day tha to maney cheque monday 21.07.08 date ka cheque diposite box maey dal diya tha.lakinkal jab c/card statement mila to us maine late fee lagi houi thi. jab card diya gaya tha tab yeh bhi kaha gaya tha ki 40 days ka credit diya jayega yeh to us niyam ka bhi ulanghan hai ab ap hi bataye ki kya maine yeh late fee jama karwa kar app ka credit card, debit card account, current account jo ki ap kai bank maie chal rahey hai band karwa kisi aur bank main accont khulwa lo yeh main ap par chorta ho .is bar bhi due dete17 aug 08 hai aur 17 aug ko sundey hai. us sey pahley 15aug &16aug ko chuti hai . kya app ka account dep detail bhejtey samey yeh sab chejai nahi dekhta ki credit days 40 kab hongey aur jo date di hai us din chuti to nahi hai.aur is sey account holder ko koi dikat to nahi hogi.agar ap ney is mail ka jawab nahi diya to late fee to maine jama karwa dunga aur acconts (saving & current) close karney sey pahley R.B.I lekhpal aur media maine pahreydar par bhi app ki complaint karuga . umied hai app is mail ka possetive reply daingey aur jo late fee maine jama karw raha ho usey agey marey accont maine adjust kareygey.aur mail ka reply jarrur daingey. thanks. h.s.narula (my cust ID:2855552 & my c/ card no is[protected] )

    I am regular customer past one year your colleting late fee regularly last month. I requested you for not colleting late fee but still your collecting .I am not satisfied with your service kindly consider this problem immediately

      Dear Sir,


      Ref card No.: [protected] in favour of SUSHIL KUMAR JAIN.

      Reg. : Cheque No. 44694 Dt. 11.07.08 of Rs. 745/- of CITY CO OP BANK LTD. drawn in favour of ICICI card angst. Payment due date on 16.07.08 was Dropped at drop box but same is not credited.

      With reference to above mentioned subject I am very much surprised to note that I have received a call on 08.08.08 from your office that I have an unpaid out standing in of Rs. 1267.07, but after verification from your office I came to know that my last Cheque No. 44694 Dt. 11.07.08 of Rs. 745/- of CITY CO OP BANK LTD. drawn in favour of ICICI card angst. Payment due date on 16.07.08 Dropped at drop box is not credited. But after this this I immediately contacted you office for next step, they advised to deposit new cheque for Rs. 793/- ( Last bill amt. Rs. 745/- plus this statement bill amt. Rs. 48/-) which I have immediately deposited on 09.08.08 through Cheque No. 44696 Dt. 09.08.08 of Rs. 793/- of CITY CO OP BANK LTD. drawn in favour of ICICI card angst. Payment due, before receiving the statement of current month. Now as a committed customer I have deposited new Cheque for all actual expended due amount of Rs. 793/-and same will be cleared within due time.

      Now my main contention is that I should not be charged any late payment as well as any penalty and other charges for this small mistake either by drop box collection people or any one else beyond my control.

      So now I request through this letter that in my next statement I should not be charged any charges for this mistake and if charged should be reversed in any next statement prepared. You can also verify from your record that I am also paying regularly in past at all occasions without any default.

      Please accept my this small request this time.

        This is regarding a complaint to be made against your tele executive who had given a call to me stating he is offering a barclays platinum card without obtaining any prior information, as soon as i started to speak he disconnected the phone as i was busy at that time i was furious to recieve that call so i called up again to that number which is[protected]and i shouted at him for making such call instead of apologising he banged the phone and started giving me missed calls and as i use to call the number back he started disconnecting .this way he was making a fool of mine .After long time i got the mode of communictaion to make a complaint against that incedence.
        so you are requested to issue a apology letter of face further consequences .

          Dear Sir,

          My card NO [protected]


          This is to inform u that the foreign banks that operate in India are behaving very badly with the customers.

          On 28th may some one called me from MANHATTAN and offered me a promotional offer on TATA AIG GENERAL INSURANCE. I have refused to take the offer. But in my statement I have seen they have charged me Rs.8889.00. I had a talk customer care who misbehaved said we will not reverse the charge since you have confirmed over telephone when they called for the offer which is very much lie. They again said you need to talk to TATA AIG people but couldn’t provide there no.

          My question is how can a insurance contract can be enforced without the customer’s signature? Isn’t this the violation of Indian Contract Act .

          Secondly I have paid the premium but received a insurance contract without any stamp on it.

          My question is who is fraud manhattan or tata aig and how and why manhattan gave my contact to tata aig. Why should I suffer this loss.

          Pls do the needful at earliest to recover my money.

            I have paid all my dues, want to remove my name from Satyam defaulter list.pls guide

            1) This is possible only when you have paid the entire amount displayed as due by the bank on the card statement. All settlement cases are viewed as defaults and the bank never withdraws the name of the person till the balance payment has been made to the bank. If you have paid all the money that is owed on your card (and not a settlement figure quoted by the collections team), you are eligible to request for a removal of name

            2) Assuming that you made full payment, call up the customer care of the bank and request for two things: 1) no dues letter within 7 working days 2) a zero balance statement. Take down the request number to follow up. these two documents are very essential if you want to apply for another card or any loan in the future and it stands proof that you have cleared all your dues with the bank. Please keep these documents safe

            3) Call again to customer care and ask them to do two things: 1) update CIBIL so that it does not show you to be a defaulter 2) send an email to Satyam database to take your name off the defaulter list. Satyam Credit Services maintains the list for the Indian Cooperation committee where Mastercard and couple of other banks came together to start a list service (before CIBIL was born) and put the name of all defaulters on it so that other banks do not lend to them. Only the bank that put your name on the list, can get it removed. There is no known address of Satyam list so you have to take the bank's word that it is removed. Insist that a letter be sent to you stating that the bank is taking steps to have your name removed from the Satyam list ASAP and this letter will do when you apply for credit again

            4) If the letters do not come, write to the grievance redressal head of the bank. All banks as per RBI regulation need to have internal grievance redressal cell and you can get their email address and phone number from the bank's website or from the customer service on phone.

            5) If even the grievance redressal people fail you, file a complaint with the banking ombudsman of RBI who will solve the problem for you. Different regions have different people - check the link below:

            Usually, the bank takes your name off and gives you a no dues letter without creating problems when you pay them off in full. This is my personal experience with Stanchart and ABN.

            First of all I would like thanks for your service.

            The above mentioned card I am using from Jul-2007 onwards, and still now I am regularly paying my dues. Due to some personal reason I couldn't able to make the payments on time from the month August 2009. But same has been paid in the month of Sep 2009. In the mean time One of your collection executive (Mr. Jegan) went to my native place(Vellore) & he informed to my father, your son is using credit card he is not paying money regularly, so ask him to pay the money otherwise the action will be very severe. Because of this one reason, relationship with my father is spoiled and he shouted and don't want me to come his home. Eventhough they know very well I was not available in that home that time, because my communication I had given in your records is Chennai address.
            So immediately I pledge my wife jewel I paid the Rs.3000/- in chennai Nungambakkam branch. After that also I had received an SMS, stating that your card is in over limit, to avoid updating your name in CIBIL to pay the minimum amount Rs.1975(Aprox), so I made the payment of Rs.2000/- in Vellore branch.
            After that I had received a call from your executive Ms.Jothy(Call from followed no:[protected], 66458500,[protected] on 7th Oct-2009, she immediately started shouting that what happen the amount you are suppose to pay the outstanding amount know, when you are going to pay? So I had replied to that madam Please give me some time because my daughter had admitted in hospital, surly I will pay the money, but she is not ready to listen. And she started saying that, if you are doing like this I will your wife & your native place contact no & disturb them. She did the same, within a few second she called my wife mobile no. she ask my wife, What madam(but actually she didn't use madam- shougted in local language)are you ashamed of your husband? like that, because of this reason my wife stop speaking to me. HDFC Credit Card is given So many changes in my life. But it is not stopped again on 08th Oct-2009 again the same executive called me & started shouting that today I am going to send some collection executive to your native place. I don't know what to do, I am helpless.
            Requesting you to help me for my card closure, please I am begging you to waiver off the charges & tell me the final settlement amount. Otherwise waiver off the charges in that I would like to go for EMI (with the genuine interest). Last six month onwards I am enquiring with your customer care regarding the EMI, please convert my outstanding amount into Loan, but I didn't get any revert, so sir we can't provide this offer to you. Whatever the money I purchased I paid more or less equal. Please help me to save my life & live with my family members. Please...Please...

              Dear Sir
              Sub: My credit card no [protected]

              On 10 th of July I had dropped a cheque for Rs.1100.00 vide cheque no 306326 of Standard Chartered Bank Chowringhee Branch at your office situated in Hindusthan Road, Gariahat .Kolkata in the drop box kept for credit Card payment.
              Till date the cheque has not been debited to my bank account, and I am receiving calls from your collection agents to clear the old outstanding.
              To day also I have deposited another cheque in the same office for billing cycle upto July 08 for Rs.1100.00

              Could you please look in to and confirm the status of receipt of the cheque or I have to pay again.
              In the event of repayment for the loss of the cheque, I request you not to levy late payment fees etc as this is not my fault as because I had paid in time .
              An early reply from you will be highly appreciated.

                Hi,

                I have applied for Car Loan through SBI..but my application was returned due to information given by CBIL that Rs.6385 is written off by Some un disclosed Bank/Credit card issuer.I requested them to provide proper details which they do not have. I am regular paymaster to all my CC payment without any defaults. Pl adv any one that how to approach CBIL to know this details to correct my self if i am due to any bank.

                As per RBI regulation, you can ask SBI to give you a copy of your CIBIL report if they are rejecting your card request based upon CIBIL report. This right is given to you by the Government and SBI cannot turn down your request. The CIBIL report will tell you which bank has written off this amount and you will come to know about this from the report. Writing to CIBIL will not get you any help because they are not yet bound by law to give you a copy of your credit report (very soon they shall be because RBI is working on this). If SBI does not give you a copy of your credit report, write to the grievance redressal head of SBI (you can get their details on SBI site itself). It is very much required that you find out the name of the bank who has put a write off statement against your name because no bank will give you credit till this is removed.

                I use to own a HSBC credit card, I use to do regular credit card payment.
                But One fine day HSBC stopped sending me the statement, despite og my so many request they never reacted properly, in NOv 2007 I told them I do not want to carry the card anymore Kindly send me the settlement amount as they have charged me unneccessarily intrest on it. I was told the amount which I am payable to bank is Rs, 10, 000/-, I was given the oprtion that 2500/- chq be issued fiest then balance which is 7500/p another chq payment, They never depoisted that chq, despite of my several reminders, to HSBC Noida, their call centre they never listened then one fine they called me and told that please do the stop payment of the chq, I told that kindly return my chq, because stop payment will be charged and in case they (HsBC) depoisted the chq and I dont have that much balance in my accont then chq would be dishonour and I will be ansewerable to the bank. They never returned the cheques THen in Oco 08 they told me to do the settlement I said fine Now I will give you one chq and I want the NO DUES Certificate also they said after the chq is credited in their account I will receive a o balance payment statement then they will issue me a No dues Certificate.
                Now I got the NDC in Dec, but the problem is I applied for the car loan in SBI, they said that the CBIL report is negativ as they have wriitten the the legal fees is waived off.

                Now I have no idea what to do, where to go, as its not my fault. The bank only gave me a amount and I agreed to pay that amount after paying also I am suffering.

                Please help me out on this.

                This is kailash and holder of icici credit card due to some reason i have to do stellement of my due
                where as i have not use more than 10 thousand from my card and inthe last april i done setelment and for 17 thousand in 3 instalement in which i was notto able pay the last cheque and itwas bounce .but now again icici is foresing me to pay 16 thousnd where it is not afforable to me in the current conditions .s o reply what should i do in this conditions where i am telling the bank that i am ready to pay the amount 5000 which was balance .so pls relpy tome asap
                I was holding AMEX corporate card. Card has been given to one of my team member to use during this foreign travel. We were not able make the outstanding amount on the card as he returned to india only after the due date. I have not received any statement from AMEX about outstanding. We have a process of claiming travel expenses and getting credit to employee account. It took min 3 weeks to credit to employees account. the total outstanding has been paid off in next due cycle. So, AMEX team has charged Late payment charges once for not paying on time & second time for not paying late payment charges. All these transaction has been done in 2007 June. Actually, the problem / delay has not happened because o[censored]s. Now i am requesting our HR to request for reversal of this amount. So, i am feeling this should have gone to CBIL. because of which i am not getting any credit cards / loans. Please advice us how to get confirmation on whether it's gone to CBIL or not? if yes, what's the way to get remove from CBIL history.

                First of all kindly note that in every cases of SETTLEMENT ; in a prima facie, Banks use to incur a huge financial loss and thats what as per the guidelines they reserve the right to refer your card details to the negative database/regulators such as CIBIL which appears as " WRITTEN OFF ".

                Secondly If at all you have gone for settlement, To avail this benifit too there is a particular fixed terms as mentioned below :

                IN THE EVENT OF ANY INSTRUMENT ISSUED BY YOU TOWARDS THE DUES RETURNED BY YOUR BANKER UNPAID BY ANY REASON, THE OFFERED STRUCTURED PAYMENT OPTION WILL STAND NULL and VOID.

                On this kind of event Bank will be entitled to demand/claim for the original amount as reflected in your credit card statement.For your information this kind of structured payment offer always have a base of special circumstances surrounding your card account and does not set any precedent.

                So in order to give you a better advise, it is quite suggested to contact ICICI BANK for the better resolution.

                I am using ICICI Amex card, and i was having some outstanding amount due to some reasons. Due to some reasons my name is added to CBIL. Now i have paid complete amount, can someone give some idea how my name cane be removed from the CBIL report.

                I am resident of Hyderaad, having icici credit card since 2006, in the year 2008 september 27 i received a message to my phone stating that i made transaction with vodafone mumbai immideatly i made a call to ICICI customer care they told that there are 4 transaction with vodafore for Rs. 6, 000-00 and reported the complaint for the 4 transaction and immideatly blocked my card, they instruced for sending fax to mumbai office for taking necessary action on the transaction and when i receied my credit card statement i came to know that there are transaction at mumbai at ADLABS and VODAFONE for Rs. 28000-00 immideatly again i called care center reported the same, after that i made complaints through online also but I never received any action from them.. but they are adding the interest and send the statemens to me regurally.. i had made minmum balance 2 times, after that in the month of february 2009 on person form ICICI Bank, by name Raju, had came called me and ICICI bank going to settling you account for Rs. 18, 000/- so please pay 10, 000/- for that I asked the settlement letter for the same for that they told that settlement letter will be given to me after paying the 10, 000/- beling the GREAT ICICI Bank I made the payment of Rs.10, 000/- on[protected], after that I made so may calls tothat executive but he never responded my calls, once he responded and stated that concerned lady in the department was in leave and he will give it in one day.. after one day called him again and requested for the same again he never responded for my report, vexed with their attitude I apporched the Credit Control Branch at Nampali, Hyderabad they told to approach Bagumpet Branch when I went their they told that u will receive a call soon but no body is anot taking care of my problem.

                but I am receiving calls from ICICI bank people stating that i need to pay monies to them actuall my out staning balance to ICICI Bank is only 10, 000+1200+560+500+ on insurance policy.


                in this junsture I requesting ICICI people to settle my account for that also they are not responding in a proper way

                I had taken a home loan from ICICI bank in Feb 2005 to purchase a flat in Bhubaneswar from a builder.The bank sanctioned 11.0lakhs of Rupees.But in 2006 I had gone through financial crises and unable to pay the pre EMI . So I had surrendered the flat to builder and builder made a agreement to cancel the possession letter, repay the outstanding amount to bank, and will resell the property.But unfurtunately the builder did not repay the money to bank.Instead he had been depositing EMI regularly till March 2009 and the same flat had sold at Rs.28.0Lakhs to a person.The total amount was refinanced by same ICICI bank withiut closing my existing loan.In April 2009 I have applied a personal loan in Axis Bank and they have refused to sanction a P.L. Because my name is entered in cibil.Earlier Axis Bank had given me Rs.1.25 Lakhs and Rs.0.55Lakh as top up.So I just cant under stand how it is possible. Please advice me.

                I have come across lots of instances where, banks have reported credit card customer to cbil. And most of the customers were genuine. No one will pay, wrong charges. And this kind of reports must be verified, before innocent people are reported.
                We have to remember only one thing that nobody is 100% right.
                I have opened a OD facility account from ABN Amro bank, and I never use that account, at the time of opening that account it was told me that no charges will be there. Now I have applied for a personal loan with HDFC Bank and banker says that you have been listed at CIBIL for defalter case, and the application has been rejected.
                Now HDFC bank is not able to provide the details and hence I am not able to do any thing. please suggest what should i do.

                Dear Mr. Pandey,

                First of all you should ask HDFC for the CONTROL no. of the said CIBIL report based on which your proposal was rejected.

                After this you kindly mark a mail to [protected]@cibil.com along with the CONTROL no.You will be able to know about the default in clear within 2-3 working days.

                Simultenously if at all this ( DEFAULT ) is due to the ABN AMRO BANK information...Better resolve it with ABN.

                Kindly note that CIBIL is a organisation which has come into existence by the joint effort of the government of India and the RBI ; with the idea to gather all existing consumer and commercial credit information and pool it in a one-point source, for reference.


                CIBIL acts as weeding mechanism that helps identify repayment track records of the customer. It helps protect lenders from giving credit to people and establishments who are unlikely to repay what is lent. Even if credit is provided, it is done so at a very high rate of interest, thereby ensuring that the bank is able to recover a considerable sum of money even if a default happens some time into the loan tenure.

                On the other hand, on the availability of an impeccable repayment track record, one can reap benefits from it too.Banks provide a lower interest rate for sound credit profiles that have excellent credit scores.It also helps lenders and banks quickly process a loan, without wasting valuable time on research and background check on the loan applicant.

                CIBIL provides only those information which are being shared by its members ( Presently banks, financial institutions, state financial corporations, non-banking financial companies, housing finance companies and credit card companies are members of CIBIL) about any customer on its report.

                Please do note that if and when there are any grievances, the individual needs to resolve it with the concerned Bank or may write to the Customer Service Department of the concerned bank and after resolving the matter, the Bank informs CIBIL to take the necessary action.

                CIBIL cannot modify any information in the database without the concerned member confirming the same.

                Later on you should ask your Bank to send the updated data to CIBIL and subsequently CIBIL will upload the same onto its database. The changes will then get reflected on your Credit Report.

                i use to use the icici credit card and i had the due amt of approximately Rs.40000. i was unable to pay the amt due to circumstances, finally i was being offered the settlement which i agreed to and completed the settlement at Rs.22000 in the month of october 2007. and unfortunately the bank did not updated the pymnt and as result today none of the bank are approving my credit card.
                i also got in touch with the icici abank and resolved the issue and finallly they have zerovised my a/c
                but still i am unable to get the Credit card from any bank. please help me and find me a way to get rid of this issue. more over the bank which i applied the credit card send me an E-mail stating due to the creteria & reports from CIBIL we are unable to process the application. while ICICI says they had not send the reports to CIBIL. So basically i am confused as to what to be done.

                There is no site to check the cbil .
                You can order your Credit payment Report from CBIL. The URL is given here http://www.cibil.com/accesscredit.htm.
                Please check your credit payment report to ensure that the information is correct if not then take the necessary corrective steps. It is important to keep your credit record clean. The best practice is get your report every year.
                Pls help me out from this situation:

                I am having SBI credit card which is having out dues of Rs. 32, 000/-. I am monthly due timely except sometimes together for 2 months, last month i had a due of 2 months and executive came to home for collection of money, i asked him about EMI and he said he can arrange for that but i have to pay him Rs. 2000. I agreed and he gave me a letter from SBI which stated to have pay the amount of Rs. 22, 000/- into 4 instalments and brought Rs. 2000/-. Even at the time of receiving letter, i used to talk to his senior and he was also said it is "OK". In the evening, i called the SBI Customer Care and asked about the letter, they said this is the settlement letter and my name will go to CIBIL. I have been great shocked because i asked again and again to that executive that i jst my outstanding amount into EMI rather to get it settlement. So one day another executive came and i told him everything he said to me to make the 3 months payment and he will try to get my letter cancelled. So i gave him a cheque of 3 months dues on before 2 weeks of the cheque date i.e. 15.10.09. He deliever the receipt at my home jst one day before and leave the mess that "It will not be possible now".

                Due to business n office n diwali festival i could not deposit money into Bank and the cheque was returned. Sir, now my question is how can i come out from the situation becuase i need a HOME LOAN so i never be shown bad record in CIBIL infact i wont to get my records negative. thanx in advance.

                  My name is Kulshresth Rawal and I am a recent victim of the Credit Card fraud. As per customer service of Citibank credit card division, I was issued a credit card in August 2007 with number [protected]. However I never received this card. I have also never received any statement for this Credit Card on my mailing address.



                  Since August 2007 there was no contact done by the Credit card division people with me. As I have never applied for the Credit Card, so I was not knowing that a card has been issued in my name. Then all of a sudden two months back I got a call from a collection agency stating that i have a total due balance of Rs. 35000 on my Credit Card.I tried calling the Collections number given to me and talked to one of your collection representatives.



                  He told me that there was a shopping done by an Add on card which was issued to me. As I have not applied and not received any card I told them to block the cards immediately. The card was blocked on my request. When I told them that i never received any card, they told me that they have created a dispute and the investigation is going on. I relied on them and waited for the investigation to get over. When I don't got any call regarding the dispute on my account, i again called after 14 days.



                  They told me that still investigation is going on and I need not require to panic about it. I again got consoled and waited patiently for a result. Then all of a sudden on June 30, 2008, Citibank automatically deducted Rs.14133 from salary account in Citibank for the Credit Card due balance.



                  I contacted once again to the same people and they told me that you have a due balance of Rs. 48967 and I am bound to pay this. I told them that a dispute is going on my account and to check its progress. They didn't gave any information about it and asked me to contact the Credit Card division once again.



                  I visited e Serve office in Mohan cooperative Estate to get this issue resolved. There I met Puneet Sharma who was handling my case. He told me that a card was issued in my name and I am required to pay that amount. I asked him him produce the POD for the credit card delivery and he was not able to answer the same. How can such an important thing be delivered to someone without any authentication ??



                  When I insisted about the details and the fraud done on the Card, he told me to settle my account by paying Rs. 6000. Is it justifiable to pay such a big amount for no fault of mine??



                  I also have the call recordings of the talks I had with the collection agents and Mr. Puneet Sharma.



                  I am now being mentally tortured by your collection people for the due balance. I was required to pay the fees for my MBA papers and I was not able to do so as you deducted amount from account without any authorization. I am going through a very rough time and could not find any way out. Who will compensate for all this agony through which I have gone through.



                  And to better it off, now Mr. Punet Sharma is not picking up my call. He is avoiding me as I am his slave. Is this the kind of service we expect from such a large financial institution??



                  I always trusted Citibank and have my salary account in Citibank for last 3 years. But the way i have been treated in the past few days has changed my mind.



                  At this moment I do not find any way but to move to consumer court to get justice. I have enough evidence to prove my innocence and your carelessness. But before I move I thought of informing you about the incident.



                  So please help in getting out of this problem ASAP and refund my money which was unauthorisedly deducted from my account. Also I require a detailed investigation of this fraud done on the card In my name.



                  I am not asking anything extra for the stress and frustration given by you. I am only demanding my right and my hard earned money .

                  Did you get any response from Citibank for this ?
                  I also have a similar case for them but am wondering how to go about it and get my money back.
                  I am a credit card holder for Citibank. On 21st of Nov 2012 I received two messages in the morning around 07:15 AM and 07:19 AM about the two transactions that happened on my card amounting $700 and $900 which I did not do. I called Citibank immediately to inform regarding the same but they refused to take any action by saying that there is nothing that they could do till the transactions are claimed by merchant except blocking the card. I told them repeatedly as it was a fraud transaction and I did not do it they should block it.

                  I also sent them the dispute declaration form as requested by them on 22nd Nov 2012 but no action was taken. On 24th Nov the transaction was claimed by the merchant but still they did not take any action. On 25th Nov when they received a complaint from the National Consumer Helpline they registered my complaint and gave me a temporary credit and informed that the investigation would take around 60-180 days to finish after which they would take the decision that the transactions are fraud or not. I am completely at their mercy regarding the same. I have also filed a complaint regarding the same with Economic Offences Wing at Mandir Marg police station but no action was taken and after a month received a letter from them that they have forwarded my complaint to the local police station.

                  I am completely stuck and not sure what to do regarding the same. Where should I approach to get my money back.

                    I am getting the calls from HDFC Bank Recover Taem calling me and at my home and using abusive language... today i got a call from[protected] & [protected] he did not disclose his name and start Using abusive language. last time i had called him came to me and collect the payment but he had not come to me and inspite of coming to me they are calling me and at my home also and threaten of life to every one in my family. when i had told them i don't have money to pay in one shot plz take it in EMIs then he told me "they will kill me when i go to them." here i am mention that numbers from which i had got calls no's are[protected] &[protected]

                      Dear Sir,

                      Lots of Agencies taking Credit Card application form and promissing that I surely get Card. But after few days a letter will comes from the bank and stating that this time we are unable to approved your application for credit cards, reason that I have been not meeting their minimum credit criteria. If this is the case the Agencies should have knowledge to whom they can take application form.

                      Sir, Please help me what is the wrong with me, I am giving all the documents what they required still it is same story. Recently I have heared about cibil, I want to know whether my name is in cibil, please let me help and give me solution.

                          I Harshad Bharat Shah had onece apllied for SCB credit card in the year of 2007. after couple of days i receive a Apology letter from your end saying right now we cant serve you and will serve in future.

                          After that a day i shocked when i received a call from your collection team ms- Rashmi mistry (Manager Recovery Associates). saying that i have a card of standard chartered bank and i have used and not made the payment. during this problem i had some of my family problem my daddy was hospitlised and he was shifted to ICU for four months i was totally disturbed and not able to concentrate or take any legal action on it. in the month of May 2008 as usual i received call from ms rashmi mistry i said i have not received your card only how can i use the card. then i asked her can i come and see you mam. finally she has given me appointment i have personally visited your Jogeshwari (Jai coach) office. i met her and she started asking so many question during 2 hours mneeting she called FCU Manager Mr. Anurag Mishra he has cross check and asked. the statement and application form has been shown to us was froud and sign mismatch. That card was issued on my other creadit card statement and below to that the address was given of vasai where yuour standard chartered executive who has come to me at the time of application was stayng there. i had enquire from neibour at vasai.

                          now i am facing some problem by getting home loan as my name is shown in CIBIL i have made so many visit after meeting also but sorry to say that i am unable to get any poisitive reply on the same. Ms. Rshmi Mistry stopped calling me and when i visited today to ask for final solution she said our team is unable to find out the result. Now i am very frustated and i wish to go to the media if my name is not removed from CIBIL you are requested to kindly take the matter seriously becouse if i would have done some mistake i cant dare to visit sao many time it is also to inform you i have many other cards in my pocket that i am using from last four to five year that is still running very well withthe limit of more than One and half lacs.

                              blue dart not delivering my courier at given time even his delivery man not come to my address and he said i m return to your address 4 times. and i m conforming time with hdfc customer care but still i m not receving my card. this happen 2 time my time westing.pls help me
                              the sms sent to me that my card was sent by blue dart curier no. AWB # [protected] on dated 14/07/2012.on my office adress at G-102 ,sector-9
                              1st floor noida.the delivery man comes one time on dated 17/07/2012 & 18/07/2012 1st time.after telephonic communication he says that he will come
                              again after half a hour.but he do,not come upto to 4 hour,s.in my absence he came and go away without any message.so,please check i doubt that
                              probably he is doing any unlegal action from the card or not any delivering responsbility.please my any document not sent by blue durt. their office
                              bearer/delivery man are very unresponsable they can not call or delivery timely.it is my many a times experience.they say,s in returning the paper

                                I have your credit card no: [protected]. I made payment of your last bill[protected] to 21.05.08) by means of cheque no: 631386 dated 02.06.2008 for Rs. 829.50 and dropped it in your box at your Sec-9, Cghandigarh Branch. On 23.06.08, I received an SMS saying that my card shows "overdue status". I contacted your executives who advised me to make payment in cash to enable them to credit the amount and reverse the penalty and finance charges. I immediately deposited Rs. 830/- at your Sec-9, Chandigarh Branch.

                                As advised, I contaced your Chandigarh [protected] for help in the matter. I was asked to hold the line for two minutes. I kept holding the line for 10 minutes but the lady at the other end just went missing.

                                Will you reverse the amount of penalty andf finance charges as no fault can be attributed to me for the delay?

                                  I had a credit card of ABN AMRO Bank any my card no. is [protected] and I had surrendered my card long long back due to some unavoidable circumstances. After a long time I came to know that Rs. 3, 060/- is showing balance against my card a/c.
                                  I am really very strange and how it was gerenrated and asking me for payment. Today I paid Rs.3, 100/- (Deposit slip details ABN AMRO 7284 & 11128 )as full and final but I need a N.O.C. from your bank with immediate effect, unless I will have no other choice except legal proceedings.

                                    Please note that presently self was rejected car loan from SBI on the ground that I have some pending credit card payment (Rs 9062+Rs 1400) as revealed from RBI list based on CBIL report in the year 03-04.

                                    I have contacted ICICI, ABN AMRO & Citibank card for settlement as I remember I might have hold credit cards of these banks at that time.Though the later 2 banks have cleared all dues I am yet to receive any information from ICICI.Also the total settlement values for these banks is not matching with what RBI has indicted.

                                    In these circumstances I would request to kindly advise what steps has to be taken to clear all dues & get my name removed from this RBI list.

                                    ABN AMRO Credit Card — Unfair trade practices carried out by the ABN Amro Credit cards Marketing Department

                                    On 22-Aug I recd. a call from ABN Amro tele no.[protected] at 11.54am, then another from[protected] at 12.00 & 3rd one from[protected] at 12.07pm. On the first call they called up & told that whatever I'm talking with you & offering is being recorded for proof. Then he said I have 4500 reward points balance in my Account & they said they would like to give me an offer of a holiday scheme which cost Rs. 4, 500 & I can use my points against the same. I said I do not want the Holiday scheme. Then they said you can get yur points converted into cash which you can use against your any future purchases. For this you need to first register for this Holday scheme & when my verification department calls up just confirm your mothers Maiden name & date of Birth. Then in the even I will again call you & at that time you can opt & cancel the Holiday scheme & then you will get a Credit of Rs. 4, 500 in your account. I said ok. I thought that there was something fishy as I hardly use my ABN Amro Credit Card, how can so many points be accrued. Hence I called up the ABN Amro Credit Card Department & asked how much reward points do I have on my card & they said that just 18 or 28 points (I do not remember), then I told the full episode to the ABN Amro Credit Card Department & they appologized. I then told them to register myself for Do not Disturb & they did same & assured me that henceforth I will not get calls from the Marketing Depatment. Later I got the 2nd call from the verification department & they said for the Holiday offer give us your Date of Birt etc. & I said I do not want the offer. THen I got the 3rd call from the guy who had made the first call & told him that I enquired that I have only 18 points in my account, how come are you saying this. He said our data shows you have 4500 points. Then I told them do not pls ever call me up again.


                                    Then again on 28-Aug, I got a series of Calls from the ABN Amro Marketing Department.

                                    Surya[protected] Called up at 12.59

                                    These calls were for Increase in Credit Limit - They told we have an offer for you for increase in credit limit on your Card. You just need to confirm your Date of Birth & Mothers maiden name. I said I do not want the offer.I again found something fishy as I have a lot of credit cards & for increase in credit limits, they straight away send a letter that your credit limit has been increased. Never do you need to verify the Date of Birth & Mothers maiden name.
                                    Then got a Second call & after that 3rd call saying that they have an offer for increase in the credit limit etc. I rejected their offer.

                                    Tired of suchs calls, I called up ABN Amro & spoke with Ansh on 28-Aug at 1.45pm - Explained him in details & he said sorry & said that will put a message that the Marketing Dept. will not call up again. Then told want to talk with your seniors. He said after putting on a long hold that the head of Marketing Department will call up. I asked when & he said in 3 to 4 days. I said thats not acceptable & then he said within 24 hours someone wil call up.

                                    Then I got to know from one of my staff members in my office that he too was a sufferer of the same & he had given his Date of Birth & Mothers maiden name & was charged Rs. 4, 500 for the offer. Then after a lot of calls & trauma which ended after 3 months got the same waived off.

                                    I just hope that no one else too falls in their trap of Blatant Lie & suffers.
                                    Banks get a credit report from CIBIL based on which they accept / reject your applications.
                                    Since your car loan has been rejected by SBI, you can ask them the reason for rejection. When they specify the reason (as you have mentined it above) tell them that you dont believe that this is true and insist on a proof of this.
                                    As per the RBI rules, a customer has complete rights to know the reason for any action taken by the bank pertainng to the customer. Speak to the banker and ask for your credit report. You will have the necessary details in that.

                                    Also note, CIBIL issues credit reports only to banks and financial institutes and not to any individuals directly. This would be the best method to get your credit report.

                                    ABN Amro — Balance debited

                                    I did try to draw Rs5000 from my ABN Amro debit card in some banks today, but it showed as unable process ur request.After that i tried to draw from HDFC, it also showed the same as 'unable to process ur request'. So i left the ATM with mt Card. After few mins i got mobile alert as Rs5000 was debited from from ur A/C. I dont know what to do.

                                    I have applied for few credit cards and they were being rejected. After some research I found out that all the banks are using CBIL system to get teh credit history of the applicant.
                                    Then I verifierd all my earlier credit cards whcih are closed now and then found that Standard charted bank has put me as a defaulter and I contacted them and then agrred on a settlement which I belive was injust.

                                    Anyways, I made the payment in August 2008 and they mentioned that my name will be removed from the defaulters list.
                                    Few days back I applied another credit card (HDFC) and it again got rejected. Now I am not sure what is happeing and what as I an idividual I need to do. There is no way they tell us teh reason adn also CBIL doen't provide credit hostory report so I can correct if anything wrong in my history.
                                    This is really a very big issues as I will not get any loans in future as something is not right in CBIL system and I even don't know what it is.
                                    Can you please susggest what steps should I take going forward.

                                    I hold ICICI Bank Credit Card. I had told for settlement since november 2008. I received a call in December 2008. The person calling from Mumbai branch told me to make an immediate payment of Rs. 3500 against which he will issue a letter of settlement. Settlement was fixed at 10000 Rs. Since I was out of station I told them to debit the amount of Rs. 3500 from my account. But instead of that the debited 7400 from my account and made my account 0 balance. This is a fraud and I have all the evidences against this. After a month their executive visited my residence and told me to pay Rs. 3500 and next day itself he will get the settlement letter. I have still not got the letter from their end and I have been cheated. I am not gonna make any payment henceforth since I have paid all the dues as per settlement amount was decided. I have evidences with me. Please help me out through fruitful suggestions.

                                    I have a salary A/c with HDFC bank.Yesterday I learnt that my A/C has been kept on hold due to some credit card linkage of HDFC. I had this CC 4 yrs back.
                                    History:
                                    I had made a purchase of Rs.14000/- through this card.Immediatelt the next day I got a call from a telecaller stating that there is a promotional offer going on and I can convert this amount in EMIs for 6 months. I checked if there was any hidden charge she told me that since it was a promotional offer there was no hidden charge. I agreed with the offer. The first month when I received the statement it had processing fees and interest levied on it. I called up the call centre, they said it was a false commitment made by the telecaller. I said In that case I am not interested in the offer and asked to send a final statement reversing all the charges. She told I need to make the payment of the current statement and that would be adjusted in the next statement, I made the payment, in the second month also there was no changes made. I again called up the call centre, they said they were sorry for the inconvienence, that would reflect in the subsequent statement. I paid that amount as well. I received the third statement without any changes, I got furious and said if things does not happen next time I will not make any payment. Still I made the third payment. When the forth statement also did not have the request implemented, I stoped paying. Collection people had come to my house for the due amount. I told them to get a final statement with all adjustment and then I would clear the outstanding amount. They came a few days later with the outstanding amount which again carried interest and late payment charges. They suggested me that I could pay Rs.7000/- odd rupees and my account would be settled. I paid them In cash since I was leaving for Ahmedabad the same night as I was transferred. I thaught everything has been settled but surprisingly I am learning that I have a outstanding accumulated to Rs.35000/- odd after four years.
                                    The bank has directly debited that amount from my salary account without any information. Does the bank has the right to debit credit card amount from savings account?? what steps can I take against the bank. please suggest.

                                    One time ICICI department called me and asked my credit card number for checking purpose.
                                    Then they formed two policies as follows.
                                    1) ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND
                                    2) ICICI LOMBARD

                                    I settled the entire amount for those policies.

                                    1) ICICI LOMBARD

                                    I made communication with ICICI LOMBARD, I received document from ICICI LOMBARD and settled the policy.

                                    2) ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND
                                    I didn’t order and without any conversion they made the policy.
                                    But, they took money form credit card account, Rs.10034.00 towards CICI Prudential Life Ins, MUMBAI on November 27, 2008.

                                    I communicated with ICICI Credit card department and ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND Department, so many times about this mode of transaction.

                                    So many ways I tried to find the policy details last eight months, but they didn’t able to give the policy detail and mode of money transfer from credit card account to ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND.

                                    Today[protected] I received a call from ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND regarding the issue and told me that you have policy and around Rs.3000 has pending. So for the policy process has missed.

                                    I didn’t order ICICI PRUDENIAL policy and they took money for the policy.

                                    Sub: Credit card misused by ICICI

                                    I have used ICICI Credit card Nov-2008 onwards
                                    One time ICICI department called me and asked my credit card number for checking purpose.
                                    Then they formed two policies as follows.
                                    1) ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND
                                    2) ICICI LOMBARD

                                    I settled the entire amount for those policies.

                                    1) ICICI LOMBARD

                                    I made communication with ICICI LOMBARD, I received document from ICICI LOMBARD and settled the policy.

                                    2) ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND
                                    I didnt order and without any conversion they made the policy.
                                    But, they took money form credit card account, Rs.10034.00 towards CICI Prudential Life Ins, MUMBAI on November 27, 2008.

                                    I communicated with ICICI Credit card department and ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND Department, so many times about this mode of transaction.

                                    So many ways I tried to find the policy details last eight months, but they didnt able to give the policy detail and mode of money transfer from credit card account to ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND.

                                    Today[protected] I received a call from ICICI PRUDENIAL INSMUMBI IND regarding the issue and told me that you have policy and around Rs.3000 has pending. So for the policy process has missed.

                                    I didn't order ICICI PRUDENIAL policy and they took money for the policy.

                                    I request you please get me justice and get back my money from ICICI Credit card department.
                                    Please save me from ICICI Credit card illegal activities.
                                    ICICI Credit card is not safe full department.

                                    I am Ashish Katiyar I have the credit card of ICICI Bank Card N0.[protected]
                                    I had settlement of dues on credit card of ICICI Bank Card N0.[protected] dated 22/12/2006 confirm the acceptance of Rs.11500/ as full and final settlement on the above card account in one instalments by cash,
                                    We had deposited the cash on same date ie 22/12/2006 against receipt N0. CC[protected] dated 22/12/2006.
                                    Against this the bank issued a letter of settlement and a cash receipt.

                                    Even though I have got several calls from ICICI Bank Delhi & Mumbai Offices

                                    Now the banking members from delhi Mr. K D Sharma and other banking staff they are not taken this case as a settlement they are forcing me to go for another fresh settlement

                                    In these circumstances I would request to kindly advise what steps has to be taken to clear all dues & get my name removed from this RBI list.

                                    I have to state as under:-

                                    1. In the Month of november 9/11/ 2008 I received the legal notice from the HDFC BANK CREDIT CARD DIVISON regarding the outstanding dues of above-mentioned credit card.
                                    2. After reading the notice I am surprised and shocked that there are outstanding dues of the credit card claimed from me, as I have never received the credit card. As I have not received the HDFC Credit card NO which has mentioned [protected] it was not used by me. Hence I totally deny the liability of the outstanding dues of the credit card.
                                    3. After that I immediately called to there customer care number and narrated all facts to them. Customer Care executive told me to send all the facts in writing. Therefore I have sent fax dated 10/11/08 to customer care center in this regard.
                                    4. The address to which Credit Card was dispatched is not my residential address.
                                    5. On 6/2/09 I received telegram stating that you are going to file case under IPC 420 against me. I called on the phone number [protected] and [protected] mentioned in the telegram but I didn’t receive any satisfactory response.
                                    6. I am receiving repeated phone calls from the HDFC bank with a threat to file case against me. This is harassment. I have never received credit card, which they have mentioned, and I never used that card. The Statement which HDFC CARD DIVISON OF MUMBAI is making that My wife has received that card, firstly that the address which has mentioned on that card is not mine and my wife has no concerened with that address as she is working in pune and the card which had delivered on the day 13/2/08 that time she was in pune.That means without Identifying the person Identity the HDFC credit card ([protected]) has been deliver to a unknown person this is a complete fraud.How can a proffessional bank like HDFC do that, as per the RBI guide lines a credit card cannot be deliver until and unless the applicant of that card holder is in front of you and you should also identify the proof of that card holder before delivering that card.

                                    7. They may file a Police complaint to find out who received the credit card and used it. The take action against the culprit.
                                    8. I have at called the HDFC BANK on the given number phone numbers [protected] mentioned by them and requested them to verify the evidence about who received the credit card and who used it.
                                    9. HDFC Bank has handed over the credit card to somebody without verifying the Identity proof of my name. This act amount to negligence on their part.
                                    10. I again say that I have never received any credit card, which they have mentioned. I have not used the given credit card therefore I am not liable to pay any dues regarding that credit card.
                                    11. I here by requested them to file police compliant against person/s who have fraudulently received and used the credit card and not to harass me without proper evidence.

                                    12. A copy to this letter has been endorsed to Reserve Bank of India.

                                    13 I have also launch a complaint to pune commissioner office on 17/2/08

                                    i Sanjay Tanaji Howal having a Credit Card of HSBC bearing No.[protected], sir I would like to draw you attention to the fact that I was ready to settle the account of my Credit Card, with in specific installment but to my surprise I use to get a threatening phone calls from HSBC. and Mr. Mihir Lodhiya collection Manager, Malad Branch and his MOB No. is [protected] saying that if i dont settele the amount within two day he will send his man to take my life, if he is going to take my life itis better to commit suicide he further said that you can go and complaint to any court or RBI but by hook or crook i will get the money from you.

                                    I being a salaried person, how can I settle the account within two days. Further, I was stunned that without my knowledge the bank has renewed my card, I wish to ask you sir that whehther RBI has set any rules regarding renewing of the card without the assent of the customer.

                                    Now sir you only advise me how can I go about this bank and whether I can expect any action against the bank from your end.

I learnt that my A/C has been kept on hold due to some credit card linkage of HDFC on 1.01.10. i sent mail to hdfc bank for the hold reason. They sent a mail to me non payment of credit card issues. they told to me our credit card executives are call up you within 24 hrs. but still i have not received any call from hdfc credit card section. they hold my savings account without my knowledge. i called up several times to credit card executives they are not willing to response my call. i am not in station for past 7 months. so i cannot pay my balance amount to the bank. i called them for settlement for past 7 months they need not accept. i admitted my son in hospital i have no fund to cure my child. my financial position is so bad. how can i manage my family for this month. otherwise i go to dead.M:[protected].

                                    HSBC Credit Card — Delivery of Credit Card to unknown person leading to misuse of card

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    Currently I have a dispute with HSBC for my credit card XXXX XXXX XXXX 8310. Here are my concerns.

                                    HSBC have sent the renewed card after I canceled this card (cancellation through Customer care on 19 Jul 2006, Sent letter on 21 July 2006) after paying my last my outstanding dues of amount Rs. 2940/- on 19 Jul 2006 .
                                    HSBC delivered the renewed card to someone else in India without seeing my identity and when I was in USA and even after the card was canceled.
                                    The card was misused with some transactions in India when I was abroad.
                                    After coming back to India, when I requested for a new card, I came to know that card has been misused and there is outstanding dues on this card. Following this I received monthly statements.
                                    I sent a written complaint to HSBC asking for the clarifications and as per HSBC's letter, the renewed card has been delivered on 24 July 2006 and on this date I was abroad.
                                    I have forwarded copy of my cancellation letter which I sent for cancellation of the card and copy of my passport saying dates of my stay out of India.

                                    Here are the dates during[protected] when I was abroad. Sent copy of passport showing these dates that I was out of India.

                                    I own a HDFC bank credit card bearing no [protected].
                                    Yesterday evening(7th Feb 2010) I got a message on my mobile (credit card purchase alert) with details (Thank you for using your HDFC bank card for 4411.61 in ASSISTMATE.COM @ 07-Feb-2010 06:34 PM).
                                    Unfortunately I never used my card for that shopping at that moment.
                                    I don’t have any idea who did the shopping by using my card.
                                    I have been using this card for the last 2 years without any problem.
                                    It looks like fraudulent transaction and my card has been hacked by somebody.
                                    Even if I am using 2nd authentication screen (password protect) for any purchase, my card has been hacked.
                                    Already I have blocked the CREDIT CARD.
                                    I have neither shared credit card information with anyone nor password.
                                    Already I have send complaint letter to bank.
                                    I am not in a position to repay this amount which is not done by me.
                                    Please guide me how I can get help in this regard to waive this purchase amount by the bank.

                                    Myself, Parth Mukherjee, foreclosed my loan A/c taken on my Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card No. [protected] in the month of May 2009 through cheque no. 694399 dt- 06.05.09 for Rs. 94, 939.00 of ICICI Bank Ltd, after talking to the customer care representative who confirmed me the above mentioned as my final payment amount (including foreclosure charges). But after about eleven months or so my statement dt- 18.04.10 showed an outstanding amount of Rs.10, 642.73 as the total amount to be paid. The previous statements for the last ten months or so showed outstanding balance as zero. To my surprise, I called on the customer care representative again today ie; 20.04.10 and asked about this. They (Ms./Mrs.) Sujata was explaining me that you have not paid your loan in full as you have not foreclosed the same. But it is totally wrong to say that I have not paid in full in May 2009, otherwise the statements for the last ten months should not have shown zero amount.

                                    Please oblige by taking an appropriate action against the bank.

                                    3.1% per month for Platinum and 3.5% on classic card) once the account
                                    uses the extended credit facility. This charge will be debited on the
                                    last day of the Billing cycle and will be applied on daily balance.

                                    With effect from 05 March 2009, the Late Payment Fee on Classic, Gold,
                                    Platinum and Premier Credit Cards has been revised to 50% of Minimum
                                    Amount Due (subject to a minimum of Rs. 400 & a maximum of Rs. 750 per
                                    month).

                                    Based on your confirmation we have liaise with our Debt Management team
                                    and given the information received, we would like to clarify that our
                                    records do not reflect any kind of settlement done on the account.

                                    We had also requested you to share the copy of the settlement letter and
                                    the payment receipt for the payment and settlement done for your card
                                    account, to be sent to <[protected]@hsbc.co.in> as a documentary
                                    evidence enabling us to investigate further and assist you in this

                                    I don’t have any idea who did the shopping by using my card.
                                    I have been using this card for the last 1 years without any problem.
                                    It looks like fraudulent transaction and my card has been hacked by somebody.
                                    Even if I am using 2nd authentication screen (password protect) for any purchase, my card has been hacked.
                                    Already I have blocked the CREDIT CARD.
                                    I have neither shared credit card information with anyone nor password.
                                    Already I have send complaint letter to bank.
                                    I am not in a position to repay this amount which is not done by me.
                                    Please guide me how I can get help in this regard to waive this purchase amount by the bank.

                                      Since closing my account after the settlement, I do not have your credit card and have not made use of it even once. Inspite of that you keep on asking me to pay my alleged dues to you. Recently I have received another letter from you dated 12.05.2008 showing the current balance of Rs. 27, 151.07/- and calling upon me to pay the same. I was shocked at your said letter as already my account was closed on 9.9.2005 in pursuance to your settlement offer letter dated 8.9.2005. When I had made the payment in full and final settlement of my credit card account. I do not understand how you can demand the amount of Rs. 27, 151.07/- or any other amount from me after I closed the account and have never used the card after making final settlement with you.

                                      Please therefore withdraw your letter dated 12.5.2008 and stop demanding any payment from me otherwise I will have to take steps against your Company and Directors for nuisance and harassment to me.

                                        1. Past payment history.
                                        2. Card using pattern.
                                        3. Net salary and expenses
                                        4. reputation of area of residence
                                        5. Reputation of employer/business
                                        6. Tenure in the present employment
                                        7. Marital status

                                        and many more, to assess the credibility of the credit card holder. It is upto the underwriters to give a positive nod or negative.

                                        If your card application is declined, you can not complain to anyone as they will not reveal any information regarding the denial.

                                          kindly be informed that i faced a very bad situation today with one of your agents in the collection Dept.
                                          ( Dubai )her name is Abeer. she called me regarding my due payment on my credit card for mor than three times and i do appreciate that but due to my work nature, as i am always rooming betwwen diff. Emirates, thats why it was difficult and unreachable to me to pay it intime,
                                          Today i got a call from her and the scenario was as follows:
                                          1- she talked to me over the phone in a very very impolite way
                                          2- she said " when u promiss to pay, you must do this and dont through words over the air, and once you will not be able to pay, say it and dont keep me calling you
                                          3- when i showed that i dont accept the way she is talking to me, she started shouting at me and through the phone, ( i heared the phone crashing the table)and hered her saying to her collegue come and see that customer
                                          4- another guy pick up the phone his name is Hateem. he told me that he is a team leader, and when i told him i wanna complain about her'Abeer" he told me that he will not give me any replay to my complain unless i pay the credit card amount due !!!. and when i wondered from the way he is talking to me he told me that "its like that "and nothing to do for my complain
                                          5- after 10 min. i got a call from a supervisor her name is Samar. i told her about the story and promissed her to pay the full outstanding amount in my credit card and that i wanna close the cards but i wanna feedback about my complain about ' Abeer'

                                          ABN AMRO Credit Card — ABN AMRO staff shouting at customers

                                          Last week i am faced very bad situation one of your collection agent was called to me make the payment of Gold card. I told to him i am asked your bank for some query about that card they will not clear my doubt after clearing my doubt i will make the payment then he said i don't know i am calling from collection department you should make the payment i said without clearing my doubt i will not make the payment he said you used the card then why should not make the payment. I said you see my payment history then you said this word to me but he is not accept so i cut the line he repetadely calling to me giving the torchure to me.

                                          ABN AMRO bank people are actually very rude and talk real foul language, Ina days time you will get several calls for same thing ... you used the card why are you not paying??? When you ask them about the history so far no body knows anything... completely messed up and unorganized organization.. people with no manner and no knowledge...the bill amonts is charged with any clarification...they have also taken force payment from my salary account with ABN AMRO bank, but still after payment, due amount only increases.

                                            I have made my payment based on your out sourced caller on 5th may'08 who send the executive to collect my credit total outstanding payment as per records as on 5th may'08. According to that I made a payment of Rs.10707/- through cheque vide no:926126, Dt.5th May'08, ICICI Bank cheque, Egmore Br.Chennai and received a payment receipt no.11536279, book no.230726, which is not presented in my a/c till date, my credit card no is [protected].

                                            As far as my credit a/c is concern I have setteled the full and final payments, no dues to be paid to you, since it is your fault that not presented my credit a/c cheque.

                                                  After completion of 1 year they send bill for next years annual subscription.I replied them that I was not interested and sent back card torned. I had no other dues pending.Despite this they send me bill for subscription and put my name in defaulters list.

                                                  Yes, Standard Charted bank is Standard Cheaters Bank. A common man dont keep all the records. They can easily fool customers. Now you wont be having any proof that u sent them a request not to renew subscription. They will deny that they received any application. these things should stop somewhere.

                                                  There were payments delayed due to my abroad travel and my relocation from Delhi to Hyderabad, there were huge interest rates and service charges when i was actually notifed through a phone call. After this I have gone to personally
                                                  and closed the card with a full and final settlement at their office, they even gave a discuount becaue i was ready to make in one payment and close the card. I have even recieved the closure letter. All this was in 2003, after this i have taken home loans, car loans form a ICICI bank. Now another back which is offerring an NRI loan sees my name in SATYAM database under defaulter list. This is the most rediculous think to happen. Just because the consumer does not know what they do, they just spoil a customer's reputation here. The due amount was not more than 5K.
                                                  Can some one please help me out. Is there a way to legally sort this out. How can only banks do this, what about customers facing problems with this banks.

                                                  However I made full payment as per the settlement agreement between me and ABN AMRO, after that I didn't received any call for around 2 years regarding any due in the credit card, but since last 2 months ago I received couple of calls that there is outstanding in that credit card. When I asked him that please send me the letter indicating the due so that I may take up this matter in cunsumer court, no answer was provided and the call was disconnected but again and again I am receiving such calls also when I approached for loan I got news that My name is reflecting in Satyam defaulters list.

                                                  Please help me get out of this problem and do let me know that what action can be taken against the bank for harassing me after 2 years of closure of my payment.

                                                  I used to have three cards ( ICICI, ABN AMRO, CITI). last year I called up their customer care and surrendered my cards by making total outstanding cleared. still when I came back from abroad, I found my name is in cibil from ICICI as write-off from their side. Now i am unable to get any card.

                                                  I was using ICICI credit card and was very regular pay master, looking forward to my good track record ICICI upgraded my card to GOLD card and ever since i was using and paying my dues in time.In Feb 07, they sold me a insurance plan without my permission, which i came to know in my march statement, i called call centre and told to discontinue this insurance policy, in the month of MAY 07 i got a letter from the bank stating my policy has been discontinued and i have to pay the previous installment of the insurance policy, i paid my dues of insurance as well which i haven't subscribed, after that also they kept charging me the insurance premium i immed stopped using this card and now the charges are as high as 18k, when i contacted ICICI bank they told please pay Rs.2000 for the settlement.I told them, why when the insurance was discontinued and i have a letter with me.They never replied back.

                                                  Now name is in cibil and satyam defaulter list and i am unable maintain relationship with other banks.

                                                  I am a HDFC card holder and have been using the card regularly. My payments were regular and sincere. Six months back i lost my job and i am still unemployed. Thus wasnt able to make payments against my card from the last six months. From last month i have been receiving calls from recovery agents for the dues against my card. We came to an agreement to settle the principal amount on my card (Rs 22500/-)and asked for 3 instalment. The agents refused and are still calling everyday(Around 25 calls a day). They use abusive language and are harassing the whole family.

                                                  I had applied for Credit Card with ABN Amro Bank & Punjab National Bank but after protracted correspondance i was informed that I'm not eligible for the credit card being defaulter. it was subsiquently learned unofficially that the default was due to reports from Citibank & HDFC. I have never applied for any credit card from any bank especialy these 2 banks and have not taken any sort of loan which may have been defaulted therefore the reason for not issuing the credit card does not appear to be sound.                                                   I think all these banking and financial institutions act smart at times, but, consumers also become smarter -it s like a race sometimes they win and sometimes the consumer! People who default are still getting loans and will continue to get them even in future as they are smarter even in the best governed economy o[censored]S. the best thing is to rely on your personal financial savings and good investments which yield good returns. Credit cards, loans, etc are just banes - that is something I realized after being a victim of those ' impulsive urges'. Its true that you need a loan for buying a house if you are a working middle class individual as the home prices are beyond reach. Live in rental projects as per your budgets and invest the rest in high yielding instruments till you make a substantial saving on that! even if you take a home loan for say 20L for 15-20 years, you are anyways paying almost the same amount to the bank in interest. So, even if the property value trebles in those many years, you are not making much!! Or buy homes in small towns, which are good for living in long run after retirement...I am a supposed defaulter but I am not going to pay a single pie to the banks in interest, as, they just make you dependent!! So, HSBC, HDFC, StanC and ABN (my favs!!) just write off my debts as NPA (I think that is what you call the term...I don't want to improve my credit which is anyways good...

I am unable to understand as to which amount the bank talking about.After contacting the bank they told me that this was late fee amount. I am unable to understand that when i deposit the entire amount before the due date why they ask me for the late fee.

Expier date: 04/09, DOB 01/03/1973, Address: rzd1/239a Street no. 5 , mahavir enclave, New Delhi. i am now not in india, i have spoken to one of our customer care member that i need waiver of the interest u charged for bcos on november 2007 i ahven't received our statement, so i requested our customer care that pls send the statement of Oct & Nov. so that i could pay the total amount. but it was 2500 now it is 4000 approx.

                                                      Despite my mail dated 21.02.2008 my saving account has been debited an amount of Rs.3823.44. You may note that i have already sent a cheque for Rs.3454.00 which has been debited to my account on 25.02.2008.

I have recieved an SMS from Bank stating my application Reference number i.e. 1092478 on 22 Jan 08. But till now I have not recieved my Card.                                                           my sel[censored]nemployed since last two month iam searching a job and finally i got it.i have to joint from 1st of joint iam not receiving any monthly bill since last one year then also my self making thew payment.last month iam unable to make the payment due to job problem.iam receiving every day more than a 30 calls from the mumbai as well s Delhi collection agency call.it started from morning 8.00am to till evening 8.00pm.i sure i[censored] put that much effort and money to making customer relation and understanding the customer problem to aaj SBI number one bank hota.iam explaining her my problem but she is not listening a single word she is talking like illiterate person.i had word with bank ki make my settlement but they not ready for that also.i dont know what SBI want from the customer.SBI doing a gunda gardi.i feel to do suicide when ever iam attending such kind of calls. plz make the relationship like other bank (HDFC<ICICI<DEUTSCHE<BARCLAY)iam having all this card and they are very supportive."kabhi SBI ne ye socha ki SBI ke itne customer kiyon defaulter hote hain".if i commit a suicide i make one note against the SBI regarding the reason of the suicide.,

                                                            I was applied for HSBC credit card and they told me when they explaining about features of HSBC that i will recieve credit card within 15 days but still i didnt recieve anything form them just i recieve reference number after that i called their executive but they not recieveing my call.

                                                            so i need feedback immediate.
